I am so glad I called these guys. They were amazing. I'm an interior design student and work part time as a designer. I desperately needed help and they were there for me 100%. Grateful for their fast action at getting a new computer up and running for me with little downtime. We will definitely be calling them again! Highly recommend..... read more

My iPad was acting like a spoiled little child. Would not perform when I wanted it to and would not go to the apps I needed. It left me stuck in Google all...the...time. So I took it to KEVIN'S COMPUTER SERVICE where I once again, was treated with respect while Alex, the sweet tech guy, did some clean up and my iPad started acting like a newborn baby again. The speed on my iPad is faster than when I bought my iPad. It's now a well behaved child and doing every task I ask it too. I can't imagine taking my electronics anywhere else. Always nice, knowledgeable and quick service. Thank you, Alex. And thank you Kevin's Computer Service. read more

The keyboard on my daughter's Computer was missing the "W" and asked if they could put it back, but they couldn't so they said they would have to take it apart and then give an estimate. I paid $50 bucks for that. They said they could not give an estimate until they open the computer. A day or two later they said she needs a new keyboard and it would be over $300. They tried to upsell me a new computer for $500 I said this was my late husband's computer and we can't afford a new computer. My daughter saved $200 of her own money, so we said the budget is $200. They said ok we can get her a used keyboard, they said it has a blemish on it. They texted a pic and it wasn't too bad. So we agreed they said the cost would be $200.00. They said they will order it. A week later they call and say we are expecting delivery soon. A few days later, we are told the used keyboard didn't work out and we recommend a new keyboard for $500 or buy one from them... They must not know who they are trying to scam. Mama doesn't play! They did not listen to our needs, they tried to soak us for more money. I wanted to use a local place as I love San Clemente. This place is terrible my daughter was so upset. But she did learn a lesson. I do not recommend this establishment. read more

I suddenly had issues with windows (One Drive) software and found myself going through a labyrinth of help screens etc. that got me nowhere and frustrated. Some other apps were giving me similar issues so rather than spend hours poking through community chats etc. I figured it was worth my time to take it into someone who might have seen these problems and get me a solution. I was right. Kevin's Computer Service identified the problem(s) and had me on my way within a half an hour. It was so worth it! It took them poking around a little bit, but they eventually honed it on the problem and fixed it. read more

These folks are so honest and skilled. 2nd time service for me with different issues and again over the top delighted. Thanks Alex!!! Boss, do something special for him as he rocks! read more

Great service! Both Anthony and John were knowledgeable and so helpful! Great pricing too.

Technician Anthony did an awesome repair on my son's laptop. He did a perfect job. My son is very pleased.

I back up all my files, but got a little lazy and had some current stuff that was on a 5TB usb backup drive that failed. Got some outrageous quotes and timelines from a lot of different companies. I did not know what services were available, but when I found Kevin's in San Clemente, I said....hey, local so will try them. They did not guarantee success but if no success would not cost me. WELL...they recovered all of it and put the data on my new 5TB drive that I provided and all is great! Took 2 days and local. Can't ask for more! read more

Our home offices needed updates and honest feedback to make sure that everything can run fast and perfectly. Greg came in. I told him everything we needed. Boom! Job done! Everything is running GREAT! Unplugged and deleted several unnecessary items. Can't thank Greg enough for taking care of everything! Much appreciated! Need an honest opinion and computer help, call Kevin's Computer Service! They will take care of you! read more

Friendly and good service. Knowledgeable team able to handle all computer challenges.

Kevin's has been my go-to place for any computer issues. All the bright young men there are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. John quickly detected the problem with my monitor, I needed a new one. Upon return to the shop with a new monitor John worked on all the settings while I waited to ensure that all worked when I got home. The next day I called the shop again because of a connection in the wrong port (my error). Ali, solved my dilemma right away. I can't say enough for John and Ali; I'm most appreciative for their technical expertise, professionalism and courtesy. Oh, and their prices are good too!. I would highly recommend Kevin's Computer Service! J. M. Laguna Niguel read more

I can't sing enough praise for Anthony at Kevin's computer service. He is the man. He knows all about what he's talking about and how to meet your needs. These guys are some real tech nerd geek types but friendly though at least Anthony has a bedside manner that is lacking in the tech community. I will keep recommending you guys and using you for my own computer maintenance. They've always done great work, and they stand by their work and will fix it if anything goes wrong. If you need help with your computer, take it here. read more

So glad we have a local place in town! Everything went smooth- great service and warm and friendly staff. Kevin the owner has checked in twice by email to make sure everything is good . I would definitely recommend! read more

be aware of the service...need up with issues that I did not have before, when questioned, It was blamed on the computer

Big shout out to Anthony at Kevin's Computer Service on El Camino Real who raised my laptop from the dead. Anthony took extra time to explain all the updates and the diagnostic processes they did to rid my older computer from lots of issues. He consulted me all along the way with updates and prices for various fixes. He went the extra mile and said he was happy we chose a local business to support. I would highly recommend Kevin's computer service for frustrating computer issues and a local business with friendly and knowledgeable staff. read more

Work was pretty good, but make sure you have an itemized receipt especially if you give part cash and get a full estimate up front.

2 stars because they were pleasant and fairly quick (less than 24 hours) to look at my husbands computer. The negative is you are charged for them to look at it. There are other places that diagnose for free. Normally not a big deal because you get to apply that to the fix, but they gave me the computer back saying there was nothing they could do. So lost the 50.00. The kicker is we took it to my brother in law who works in IT and he fixed it in about 30 min. :( So, bottom line-it was fixable and they didn't know how to fix it. I wasted my time and money. :( read more

My laptop was brazenly stolen in the lobby at the Hotel Arts in Barcelona this summer. Not everything was backed up in the Cloud. (Yes, I know...lesson learned.) Most importantly, baby through grade school photos of my son (pre-iPhone) were presumably lost. However, I was able to dig out an old PC that had a corrupted hard drive after being infected by a virus. Well...I brought my old PC to Kevin's and these guys were able to successfully extract my photos. What a relief! 100% recovery in about 24 hours. Everyone at Kevin's was courteous, helpful, and not remotely condescending as some in the tech business can be. From my first inquiry by phone to drop off, call back, and pick up, it could not have gone better. Special shout-out to Anthony for his warm welcome and assurances. After service, I received an email from the owner checking in to see if I was satisfied. The shop in San Clemente is bright, spacious, and well organized. I thought the amount charged was fair, especially when one considers overhead, technical expertise, etc. that goes into doing this type of work. I suppose I could have saved money by purchasing my own Seagate 2TB external drive, but when they offered to supply one, I decided to buy from them strictly as a matter of convenience. There was absolutely no pressure from them. I highly recommend Kevin's and feel fortunate to have found them. read more

I highly recommend Kevin's Computer Service. I worked with Anthony who was able to repair the "mess" on my PC and get all my devices to communicate with each other. He was very patient with all my questions and concerns and helped me to feel more comfortable with my new MAC book. Best of all, he was able to put all my photos in one place so that I could more easily work with them. Anthony gave us competent, professional service with a friendly attitude. I will definitely recommend this service. read more

The service and speed to repair our computer was amazing. Thanks so much to the Laguna Niguel team!

Great service! My phone took a random dump on me and they were able to get it fixed within a couple hours. Highly recommend this business over a lot of these other establishments that have a 24 hour + turnaround time read more

Excellent, prompt service with staff who were kind, sincere, and knowledgeable. I was very well taken care of!

I was in quick need of Chromebook repair and Kevin's Computers got to it right away. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. They handled my problem and I couldn't be happier. I would definitely go back! read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS unless you like to be to be ripped off. They will tell you this is rubbish, they like to talk down to people. I took my laptop to have the hard drive replaced, witch they did, but broke my charger. Steve (trainee) worked on my laptop, I called and the manager he said to bring it in, I took it back. The (manager) told me I was dumb for having it repaired. He said they repaired it so Steve could have the practice. Without checking it out he said "It is an old computer, things will continue to go out" A$250.00 lessen on where not to go for computer repair read more

My laptop suffered the black screen of death after puppy bit charger cord in 1/2 and I replaced with Amazon ordered cheap one due to needing in a hurry! Yikes so I called Kevin's! They replaced the hard drive with a much faster one and provided a new charger. Oh and all the same day! Price was reasonable! read more

I had a start issue with my Dell all-in-one PC. I have used the BB "Geeks" in the past. They're usually un-friendly and un-accessible. I request a Yelp quote and Kevin contacted me within an hour. Their $50 service fee was fair, and would be applied to any needed repair. So I went to the San Clemente location on Thursday afternoon. It turned out to be a bigger problem than could be fixed, but I was offered a great deal on a refurbished all-in-one. I took their offer and my home office was "back in business" on Monday. Very happy with Kevin's service, pricing, the in store training and the technicians. read more

Kevin's Computer Service/San Clemente is the "real deal". My gratitude to John and Anthony for careful assessment and a conclusion vastly different than HP customer support. Traveling in Orange County (from Chicago) and my laptop PC goes down. Check power supply and it seems, for some reason, power is not getting into the system. Call HP and they ask several question and conclude a Mother Board repair is called for. Cost for that work, $727.64. When I point out the device is only 18 months old, they drop that price to $582.11. I arrive at John and Anthony's shop, after a quick assessment they conclude that the supply problem is in the power cable. They offer to charge my device and send me on my way. I call that honest dealing and high character. Thank you. read more

The team at Kevin's Computer rocks! These guys are so knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to work with. They can log into your desktop remote to help navigate troubleshooting. I first met them several weeks ago after my computer got infected with a Virus from a Web Phishing Scam I fell for and completely cleaned my computer & restored Windows and restored all my files so nothing was lost! Over this past weekend my 10yr locked up my computer and I couldn't figure out how to re-access my applications. The friendly tech at Kevin's quickly figured it out and didn't charge a penny! I highly recommend them to anyone..........far better than Geek Squad any day! read more

I was looking for a place to unlock my daughters computer, I stop by Kevin's computers and ask if they could do it they say yes, I drop it off and leave a deposit and an hour later they call me with an estimate for the two different options to unlock it, They were able to unlock the computer and I pick it up two days later, the place is clean and they are very professional, great customer service. I've been using Kevin & his skilled team for a long. Misc laptop & computer repairs, network setup etc. For this review I had Anthony in SC working on my laptop. It was f___ked up! He made it easy from start to finish. I had written a long laundry list of items I wanted done or looked at. It was written in my typical cave man scrawl. Luckily Anthony was able to decipher my hieroglyphics. The machine now performs like new again. The man is a master and fun to work. Kevin, don't lose him as I will use for my next IT train wreck. Well done! read more

Excellent service in San Clemente. Transferred data from old iMac to new iMac. Went above and beyond to make sure all working correctly.

After having many issues with my server, I decided to try out Kevin's Computers. Needless to say, the staff, service and professionalism was outstanding.
