We've used Keven's for approximately 1.5 years as our landscaper. In the beginning they seemed very professional and easy to work with. Over time it became apparent that they were taking us for granted and their service waned. During their last three visits we asked them to check our drip system since it didn't seem to be providing enough water for our plants and trees. Each time they said it was fine. Prior to their last visit we left instructions with them about what needed to be done since we wouldn't be home. This included a check of our drip system. When I returned the work wasn't completed as requested and some of our plants were dead. I asked my neighbor's landscaper to look at my drip system and plants. He said the system wasn't programmed properly and my plants were dying. We fired KEVEN's and suggest you do the same. In time they will disappoint you too. Will never recommend them. read more

I highly recommend Keven's for your landscaping needs. Their designer Fred was easy to work with, and with the advent of technology, I was able to send him electronic copies of my new home's backyard dimensions, and recently built pool's layout. He was able to take those measurements, put them into a plan, and send me a very good price quote for backyard landscaping. I had surveyed several local landscaping companies, one of which tried to upsell me additional water lines and control valves that were not needed. (I found this out after talking to Keven's head installer who said it was not needed for my front and back yard plant and tree layout. We have no lawn, or need for large amounts of water irrigation, so no need for extra lines. Existing single line would provide plenty for my needs). My decision to go with Keven's was based on them having the best price, the quality of work I saw in my neighbors yard, and their honesty in sales. My thankfulness for going with them was the excellent completed project. Once the plans were drawn up, the start date was scheduled for a week later, and the work was completed in TWO days. Very fast, efficient, and professional. As a footnote, there is something else that says a lot about a company; the longevity of their employees. The lead landscaper, on my project, has been with Keven's for over 20 years. He knew his stuff, and it showed in his and his crew's work. You will not go wrong with Keven's Landscaping. read more

Kevens did a fantastic job landscaping our new home! The did the front yard with shrubs, trees, artificial turf, lighting, rocks and irrigation. The also put in brick pavers to accent the driveway and entryway. In the back yard they did travertine for the patio, including pool deck. They put in Shrubs, trees, lighting, a fire pit and stacked stone around the fire pit, built in Grill and spa. They put in the grill and also put in rocks and artificial turf. In addition they put me in touch with a pergola company for that job. They did what they committed to at a fair price. I couldn't be happier! Jake and Keven were a pleasure to work with. read more

I'm in the process of selling my house. The week before it was supposed to go on the market, The valve box in the backyard was flooding over my pavers making a mess in the backyard. I called them to have someone come out and repair it. I explained how it was urgent and I needed someone to take care of it immediately. I explained how I was under a lot of stress because the house was going to be shown in four days. The woman who answered the phone said that she was going to put a work order in for me. She said that I would get a call back and they would let me know what time they could come over. Two days passed and nothing. I called a different company who came out that day. The leak was in the conduit that was running underneath the pavers. In addition to that, the PVC piping that they used for the garden and lawn section was "the cheap kind" according to the new landscaper. Water had been gushing out of them underneath the pavers for God knows how long eroding under the pavers by the valve box. He said he was surprised it wasn't destroyed years ago. They used "cheap equipment and parts" for my project and then ignored me when I needed help. They finally called a day after everything was fixed. It was probably four or five days after I first contacted them. I never responded and have no intention of recommending their services to anyone at this point. read more

OUTSTANDING!!!! This is the best superlative I can use to describe our experience with Kevens Landscaping. From our initial meeting with designer John W. to the daily interaction with superintendent Mike who checked on daily progress to Chico the foreman who along with his crew did an excellent job with all the hands on work. John W. is an superb designer who drafted beautiful plans for our front and back yards ( a large scale job) and worked with us on minor variations we requested. He went the extra mile to ensure that we got it just right before the work started. Mike the Super. was SUPER in that he checked on progress on a daily basis and ensured that his workers performed exactly as required and that every detail was to our satisfaction. Follow-up after the completion of the job was appreciated and respected. Chico and his crew were the ones who showed up on- time daily and did the work. Chico is an incredible worker with a great work ethic and it was my pleasure to have had him on my job. They showed up early and worked late and always spent time at the end of the day to clean-up the yards. There was no trash left lying around and all work tools were put away. I stopped in to get some design ideas, as I try to support my local businesses, one key question I asked was what they charge for concrete, and without hesitation they said $6.00/ft, and that didn't even include the concrete...Not to mention, Fred didn't even have the audacity to introduce himself, ask questions, or take an interest as to what my initiative was. I can't imagine they get a whole lot of business by screwing people over...This company gives a bad reputation to the landscape industry! read more

I contracted with Kevin's in June 2016 for a backyard redo, additional front yard plants and a new sprinkler system. To date part of the old sprinkler system still has not been removed, one of my plants was never delivered and planted, no information on the new timer was given and no instructions on the seasonal settings.
