We had him add artificial turf, fix our sprinkler system, fix a tree and more. My wife and I are so pleased with what they did, Neighbors are asking us "Who did the work, we need their number?" I don't give out 5 stars to anyone, Marco and his crew did a great job as the photos show! First thing Marco showed up for the estimate right away not like other guys that say they can stop by in a few days or more. Marco gave suggestions and ideas that we liked that were better than other contractors ideas. We went with Landaverde Landscape because the estimate was at the price we expected to pay and Marco sounded like he knew what he was doing. Marco's told us up front that we would have to wait a few weeks before he could get to our job and that's understandable because he doesn't start the job and work on it for a day or two then not show up for a week. When they did start on the job his crew was here every day on time for 2 weeks till the job was done and I loved that! My neighbor started his landscaping on their house at the same time and they have only work on their yard 2 days and we are done (except for fire pit back order). However I like the fact that Marco don't jump from one job to the next his crew stays till the job is done. Next reason for the five stars it Marco's crew are good workers vary detailed, their work was better than expected, almost not exaggerating but making sure every piece of grass is perfect. The artificial grass in front yard I seen them fixing spots of grass that I didn't see anything wrong with it, is a example, great job guys! I only found one bad review for Landaverde Landscape and in my opinion they can't be blamed if grass dies, we live in Arizona, it's a DESERT! Grass needs LOTS of water when it's new and even then sorry can't guarantee grass won't die. I like lots of photos with a review so that's what I gave you. Such a great experience! Our small yard only took them a few days (mainly waiting on supplies). They knew exactly what we wanted! Marco is very meticulous with making sure everything is Immaculate, straight, flat, clean, etc. He's also not afraid to tell you what works best. I reach out to Marco and his team and in less than 24hrs, he had repaired a leaking water main pipe at my home in Goodyear. The price point for the repair was fair based on the amount of work needed to resolve the issue. Once closing on our home up here, the first landscaper we hired (I won't name the company) was licensed, bonded, and insured. We actually found them from one of the TV networks here locally doing an advertisement with them, and how they worked with military vets. We moved forward with design, then the regretful 50% deposit. Then the silent treatment, you've probably guessed right, they walked with our deposit. After reaching out to the better business, bureau, the AG's office, and then the ROC, only to find out that there were numerous clients in the same position in line as us, and they didn't anticipate there would be any funds left to issue any payment to us. Nothing left to do unless we wanted to file a civil suit. They are still around and continue to close down their LLC, and file and open a new LLC every so often. At some point it will all catch up with him (at least I hope). The second landscaper we contracted with, walked through the design inception gave a smaller deposit, and we did actually start moving forward. He had ordered materials and started to have materials delivered. What a sigh of relief we thought. Only to have a 10 day project turn into several months with every excuse under the sun as to why he couldn't get completed. Then during some normal interaction with him only to learn that he was watching youtube videos on how to build water features and firepits. At the end we just wanted him out of our yard. Even with things not fully finished or expectations not being met. On to the third landscaper, our neighbor across the street was having some work done and the crew was showing up daily and actually doing work. We were able to observe their progress. We thought okay, we still would like to pull our driveway and have it done in pavers, as well as rebuild the less than functional water feature. We met with the owner, he said he would just move his crew across the street if we moved forward and agreed to the cost of the driveway. We moved forward. The driveway was actually a good experience, while they were on site I asked the owner to look at the water feature with me and provide a cost to start over. I asked about the timeline and when he thought he could get to it. We agreed again and decided to move forward. Expectations were I am paying for a new water feature that's what I am going to receive. Not quite, they were using materials from the first water feature all over again. Once again the timeline was being extended out further and further for completion, it turns out the owners same uncle must have passed away a dozen times during this process. Every other week "his uncle passed away". I believe I am a pretty compassionate person, especially in someone's time of need, but this was going well beyond that. Yes, it finally got finished but once again expectations were missed hugely. AND THE BEST FOR LAST!! Onto to Marco and Landaverde Landscape. So, we had saved up enough to finally make the additions we wanted to make in the backyard. I reached out to Marco after reading all of the google, and yelp reviews. Marco responded to my online inquiry very promptly. We made arrangements to meet the following afternoon at a time that worked for both he and I. While he was on site he was able to give me his estimate. I asked the usual question, "what do you need as a deposit". Marco stated "usually I only require a thousand dollars to get started. If I needed more than that, I must be doing something wrong". That evening I spoke with my wife and we agreed to move forward. I contacted Marco the following day and let him know we would like to proceed. I let him know we would like to have it completed prior to Thanksgiving as we have family coming in, however, if that was not obtainable we would wait until after the new year to move forward and we would still utilize him. Marco let me know he could make that happen. I probably shouldn't mention this part but I feel it's a valuable part to leave out. I asked Marco if he wanted to come by to pick up the deposit, however me now being the skeptic after three previous landscaping companies, I would need a receipt for the deposit. Marco let me know not to worry about the deposit that he would just collect everything at completion. I thought to myself "wow". As of tonight, the project is completed and Marco came by and met with me. He was handed a sum cash for a job well done, expectations were exceeded, and communication was great. Marco, it is so hard to find individuals that still do business on a "handshake", and are a man of their word. I am thankful to you and your team. I wish you nothing but success and hope that reviews continue to help your business grow to levels you didn't even anticipate when you started this. You are more than deserving! We got bailed on at the last minute by another landscaper who was supposed to install synthetic grass for me, and went through a total of 3 different landscapers for which their prices did not fit our budget. Luckily, I found Landaverde Landscape 2 weeks before our baby shower and they worked on fitting me into their schedule. Marcos is super friendly, easy to work with, and went above and beyond to get this project completed before the party for us. I totally recommend his services and if we need a project done again, no doubt my wife and I will call Marcos again! Had synthetic turf, curbing and some boulders installed in front yard. Had multiple bids and they were reasonable and competitive in pricing. Of greatest importance was how professional and prompt in responses Marco was and is.
