The grass has been brown and the weeds were loving it and now my front lawn is lush and green. Marro came out put in a new sprinkler system, moved sprinklers to different locations to maxmize overages, replaced old hosing for my irrigation. He was friendly , professional, and got the job done well. I was very happy. Will use him when I am ready to do my backyard!!!

Update: First, I…read morenever blamed him for my dry grass. I told him that we had dry patches and asked him to inspect the irrigation system to determine whether there was a coverage issue. There is a significant difference between asking an irrigation professional to diagnose a problem and accusing him of causing it. Second, bringing up the distance between Morgan Hill and Livermore is irrelevant. His response makes it sound as though traveling to my property was somehow a favor to me. He chose to accept the job. I did not force him to take the work or make the drive. In fact, he had previously performed approximately $2,000 worth of work at this exact same property, so he was fully aware of the location when he accepted this job. Unfortunately, his work this time has caused me more trouble and expense, not less. He acknowledges that he decided my existing micro-sprinklers were unnecessary so he cut them on his own will. I did not authorize him to cut and remove numerous components of my irrigation system. Whether he believed they were old, defective, or unnecessary is beside the point. That should have been discussed with me before anything was removed. I am the homeowner and should have been given the choice regarding what was removed from my property. I am still completely baffled that a professional would cut and remove parts of a customer's existing irrigation system without first obtaining permission. His communication afterward has been equally disappointing- just as you can clearly see from his response. I contacted him directly about these concerns before posting my review. My message showed as read immediately, and I have a screenshot documenting it. He did not respond until after I posted my review. He had also previously told me in person that business was very slow, yet after the review was posted, his explanation for not responding was that he was extremely busy with a large project. I am still a paying customer. What makes my job any less especially when you say your business is very slow right now. Did he forget I have cameras all over my house? Given his response, his unwillingness to acknowledge my actual concern, and the way he has handled a legitimate customer complaint, I no longer feel comfortable allowing him to return to work on my irrigation system. I originally requested a refund of the $185 I paid but he's clearly not worth it. I have contacted another company to fix all the work he has done incorrectly. My experience with him has been that he is pleasant and accommodating when securing the work and payment, but when I subsequently raised concerns about that work, communication became extremely difficult and defensive. Based on my experience, I found his customer service, communication, and handling of this situation highly unprofessional and rude. Original Post: I've had two experiences with the owner, and unfortunately I would not recommend his services. The first time, I felt I was overcharged for the work performed. However, he assured me that if I had any issues afterward, I could contact him and he would come back and take care of them. Based on that assurance, I gave him another chance. When I actually needed an issue addressed, his attitude completely changed. Instead of standing behind what he had previously told me, he was dismissive and unwilling to help without charging me again. The second time, I paid for five sprinklers to be repaired and for maintenance of the rest of the system. He said he would thoroughly clean them because water builds up and they don't spray as they should after a while. I was there while the work was being done. The five sprinklers essentially had their top heads changed, and I did NOT see the maintenance performed that I was charged for. When I went over all the heads, I can see he didn't address them and told me to rotate them. The worst part, he cut several sprinkler lines around my trees without asking me first. He told me it sprays better like that. I was in total shock that someone thinks they can cut off sprinklers without discussing first. He put a pile of them on the side and showed me all the cut lines. After his work, one sprinkler is now shooting water extremely high, and the pressure in my system seems to be off after adjustments were made at the main control. I contacted him explaining these issues. He read my message and did not respond. He is a dishonest person and will overcharge giving you a random number without structured pricing. Beyond the workmanship and pricing, his attitude when there is a problem is extremely disappointing. It's easy to say you'll stand behind your work when collecting payment, but my experience was very different when I actually asked him to address a problem. After paying him twice, dealing with unresolved issues, and receiving this type of customer service, I will not use him again and would not recommend him to any homeowner or business.

Really can't recommend them enough and had such a great experience working with Edgar and his small, experienced team. We requested multiple quotes from small and large landscaping companies before going with Edgar and Endless Summer. We chose Endleess Summer because Edgar was easy to work with, provided transparent pricing (and was one of the lower bids, approx $1,800 less than some of the larger companies that leverage subcontractors), worked up a contract and guaranteed the irrigation updates and sod for several months, and Edgar, the main contractor, either personally did the work or oversaw the work himself with his two longtime partners, which ensured everything we discussed was executed properly and timely. They are fully bonded and insured and beyond that basic requirement they always left the worksite extremely tidy at the end of each day which we appreciate, and cleaned the area thoroughly at the end of the job. The work was done in less than three days which involved turning three inches of soil, installing gopher wire, redoing some of our older pipes and valves, installing sod, new sprinkler heads, edging, weed cloth, drip lines and a few of our drought tolerant plants in the very front. Edgar also came back a few times to ensure everything was growing in well and provided detailed instructions to ensure the sod came in well, it's now been two months and everything is flourishing. As an added bonus, Edgar recommended a couple local nurseries we would have never found without his help, JC nurseries in particular, with locations in Gilroy and San Martin, is a wonderful gem with by far the healthiest decorative grasses and shrubs we've found and super competitive prices, offering free or low cost local delivery. Our kids and pup love our lush front lawn and the neighbors definitely appreciate the upgrade too. We will look forward to working with Edgar again when it's time to upgrade our property line fence and landscape the back! I use yelp but there are also some great photos of their work on Google and they provide free in person estimated for the South Bay Area.

It is very enjoyable talking with him! His prices were very reasonable, and he showed up the next day to do the work, which was VERY thorough and high quality! They did even did more than we originally planned because we were able to get our plants in unexpectedly early the previous evening. Me and my husband are extremely happy that we found this excellent company and hope to work with them for a long time to help us with our gardening and landscaping needs! highly recommend! Oh, and if there any complaints in reviews about 'bad/poor communication', sure, they might not be able to message when they're busy doing such a good job on someone else's yard (and therefore might be a bit late because of that), but if you can keep that in mind and be a little patient, you won't regret working with them!!

They showed up on time, brought the right equipment, and got the digging and hauling done quickly without tearing up the surrounding area. Communication was straightforward, pricing was great, and they were flexible about hauling the soil to private land instead of charging dump fees. No shortcuts, no surprises--just solid work. Would definitely hire them again.

I've been calling arouNd getting quotes for landscaping ideas on my front yard. I messaged through Yelp of course. Marion texted me write back and set up an appointment. Alfredo is the one who came over to take a look at my front yard. We exchanged ideas and he said he would email me with a design based on what we discussed along with a quote. Unfortunately, we decided not to go through this company only because what we wanted was way over our willingness to pay budget at this current time. However, I was so please and impressed during the whole process. I'm sure they would've done an amazing job. Marion is the one who did all the organizing and discussions over the phone- Alfredo does the labor- makes sense, this is how they stay on top of things. I appreciated how before Alfredo showed up to our appointment Marion messaged me a few hours before to confirm. And he was actually on time! The email had a digital picture of the landscape idea.. since I'm Visual, this was perfect! The quote was detailed to the last pebble , every penny was accounted for. I can rave enough about how professional this landscaping duo was. When I had messaged Marion that the quote was over our budget she came up with a few more plans trying to accommodate us. We really appreciated that. We went back and forth, kid you not they kindly did 5 quotes for us. This company really does "aim 2 please" Hopefully in the near future I can have the front yard of my dreams.

Jose got our business not so much on the price(it as good though :) ) More because he understood our vision from the day he came and estimated even though we were a work in progress. We felt comfortable with him right out the gate. They showed up for estimate right on time and every other appointment (we made) before we started. Once we started they were on time EVERYDAY and cleaned up every afternoon. We changed our vision at least 3x and they had no issues and even suggested a few more ideas as the area developed. They worked around a crazy shed we had in the area, that we did not want to move making sure all water would flow around it and OUT to a hidden DEEP drain hole. (In case your wondering from the pics). One thing that really surprised us was there was no Poke -poke for $$ ahead of time? Maybe we looked trustworthy? - cant say that is their normal way but it was a nice surprise, and when they handed us the "Bill" it was the same from the the very beginning even with all our changes. Bottom line it was a GREAT experience and would Highly recommend.

They ruined and broke numerous branches while admitting that these plants are very delicate. They rushed the job that should have been at least two hours and finished in one hour. I should have stopped them after the owner told me to go inside and they will let me know when they were done. You never tell someone that's paying you $500 dollars to take your time and do a professional job to go inside. I should have told him to get the F off of my property and hired someone else. I would have been better off hiring men from Home Depot. Totally unprofessional, rushed the job, ruined a couple of plants and didn't give a shit how it looked, even after I showed the owner the damaged plants and all the broken branches only to find more as the branches dried out in the weeks to come. He tells me the plants are delicate, but yet they didn't treat them that way. I will never hire this unprofessional company again and recommend that you don't hire them either. They have plenty of help to do a good job, but refuse to do so. This was a total rip off job to the tune of $500. I'm so sorry I hired this clown to do this job, every time I look at what they did it makes me sick and pissed that I didn't throw them off my property and paid them nothing. I've waited weeks to write this review, in hopes that the job would look better, but it doesn't. Thanks a lot, KAY GREEN LANDSCAPING FOR DOING A SHITTY JOB AND TELLING ME TO GO INSIDE.
