Requested a quote for tree removal but only needed a stump ground down once I got this 30' Bradford Pear tree (weed) down. Got an honest quote right up front from these guys and scheduled them for a grind. Super friendly, professional and punctual. Cut the remaining trunk down and ground down and was able to go 1'-1.5' deep in the soil so I can plant a more size-appropriate tree here. Our drip line was too close to the grind and got clipped but before I even saw it, they had capped it off after they blew the saw dust off the driveway. Call these folks first. You'll get some whacky quotes otherwise. Like one was for $350. read more

Juan agreed to take care of everything and he also gave me the best quote. He was fully booked out by a month when we talked, but I still decided to wait for him. My decision proved to be correct, his work is excellent. The trees are neatly pruned the way I requested, all of the branches and trunks are cleaned up nicely, and he spread the chips exactly where I wanted. Dead trees are removed and stumps grounded down. His equipments are all well maintained and clean. That same level of care shows up in his work too. Communication is another big plus, he is responsive and clear no matter if it is text or call. We've used this business for the passed 8 months or so for weekly residential yard maintenance in San Jose. They mow both the front and back lawns, trim the trees and rose bushes and also pull weeds. They've showed up every Friday for the passed 8 months as promised and do a wonderful job. They are even willing to work around our large dog who stays in the kennel in the back yard. The only irritation was regarding billing. They're a little spotty on the time frame in sending out the monthly bill. The checks we send for the month are at times cashed the following month. We then received 3 passed-due invoices asking that we provide record of payment for the months that we had already paid. I assume that they may have possibly been going through a staffing change of some sort as this didn't seem usual. Their review loses one star for this reason. So I rate this landscaping service four stars for the excellent quality of service provided, they show up on time, leave our home looking great and respond promptly to your email/calls.
