Love this place! They've got so many options for everyone. The bagels are made fresh in house and come in a variety of flavours as well as the cream cheese. You can even buy the speciality cream cheese in big boxes and take it to go! I enjoy coming here and getting the vegetarian sandwich using the fresh bagels. I got the veggie one which includes marinated eggplant, Swiss cheese tomatoe and lettuce. It was such a delicious sandwich which you can also upgrade to a combo that includes a drink and chips.

Waiting for the buzzer to do something. I'm number 26.

After having shopped at a bunch of stores, I decided to drive the remaining parts of the Trainyards that I hadn't visited and noticed this Kettleman's Bagel location. I had a birthday reward to redeem and decided to check this location out. I had only been to a single Kettleman's before this visit. I learned on this trip that I had stopped by its store in The Glebe nearly four years ago. I can now say that I have stopped by two locations. I had a wonderful, patient person at the counter. I indicated that I had a birthday reward to use. I asked her what I could get. I was thinking that I could get a bagel with cream cheese. Guess what? The reward is even better. She said that I could get a dozen bagels. Are you kidding me?! After containing my excitement, I opted for six garlic bagels and six sesame ones. The woman scanned my phone to redeem my reward. Done! I also wanted the bagel dog for lunch. I paid and then had my rewards card scanned on my phone. This place takes cash and debit cards. Yay! There is also an ATM in the store. I waited patiently for my food. I got a buzzer, which was nice. I watched staff make bagels, which was cool. The buzzer went off in my hand. I got my food and found a table to sit down at. The bagel dog is a pretty good size. It had sesame seeds all over, which is perfect for me and Big Bird, should he ever stop by. The bagel dog was yummy! It combines my love for a hot dog and a bagel all in one convenient hold-it-with-one-hand product. Yum! As with my past experience at Kettleman's, you can get baked goods, such as bars and tarts, spreads and lox for your bagels, and drinks. This location is bright and cheerful. I had a chat with an older female customer at this eatery, who was friendly and sweet. Customers were talking with others, which I liked. I'd come back here any time to get my bagel, and now, bagel dog fixes. (285)

I grabbed some lunch here recently and it was great. I had the ham and cheese sandwich on a cheddar and herb bagel (a bit over $6) and added a fountain drink for an additional $1. They don't skimp on the protein. There was lots of ham in my sandwich, as well as a slice of Swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and pesto mayo. You also get half a pickle with your sandwich. I love Montreal style bagels, like the bagels are at Kettlemans. They are denser and less cake-like than New York style bagels. Makes me miss Fairmount Bagels and St. Viateur Bagels! The cheddar and herb bagel was very flavourful and delicious. They have that new touch screen fountain drink dispenser. I love this because I find regular pop too sweet, so I just fill most of my cup with sparkling water and just add a splash of regular pop. The place is spacious and clean. Staff are very nice. They give you a pager and when your sandwich is ready it flashes, buzzes, and vibrates and you go to the counter and get your sandwich. This location is in the Trainyards Shopping Complex. It's out near Farm Boy and Bulk Barn. Lots of free parking

Great interior with lots of seating - and parking. This location is much more accesible than the Bank St. Location with the same great bagles. Would I return? Yes Would I recommend? Yes

With the significant other out of town for Valentine's Day, I wanted to treat myself to something. At first I wanted something spicy, then I wanted some ramen and the cravings were just all over the place. Then, I came to the realization that I really wanted a nice chewy bagel... A few weeks ago I went to the bank street location and got half a dozen bagels and could not stop eating them. So on Vday, I couldn't resist. I've never gone to the Trainyards location and it wasn't far from me, so there I went. It's a very big location with plenty of seating available. The smell is mesmerizing.. how could you not want to smell fresh bagels all day? I came here with the sole purpose of getting a tuna salad on an all-seasoned bagel, but obviously left with 6 more bagels. The tuna was absolutely delicious. It had the amount of spice I wanted and they added lettuce and onions for me on top of the pre-set tomato that comes with a tuna sandwich. They also give you a pickle on top to enjoy. I ate that bagel with so much love. I got home...smelled the fresh bagels in the bag...and obviously toasted one and had it with their light cream cheese. I probably could have eaten another one, but I exercised my self-control that day. I definitely recommend kettleman's bagels. They aren't like the typical fluffy ones that I'm used to from Toronto. Instead, they are dense, full of flavour and just delicious. A definite must-try!

One piece of celery 3mm thick and one piece of carrot 4mm across. Poor Kettleman's is going broke. Please make donations when possible.

I bought my favorite turkey gumbo soup today. When I got home, the drastic effect of inflation on the contents of the soup needed a pic. I love the folks at Kettleman's and I hope that they figure out that this kind of ridiculous gouging will be remembered for years to come. Some say we're all in it together. Kettleman's gouging is exploitative and cruel.

Haven't had the bagels but both people I was with did, they had the breakfast and then the turkey bagels and loved it. I had the Kettleman's salad and loved that. Lots of room to sit and pretty quick to get our food. Came again a second time to visit. Got the turkey on garlic bagel and my husband got the veggie on a plain bagel and we tried the pizza bagels. Those are wrapped in the fridge but they'll warm for you. All three were great!

It's great to to have a new location at Trainyards! I had the oven roasted chicken sandwich and though I find them a bit pricey the bagels are fresh and all the toppings taste great.

Pack of 15 day old bagels for under $6!

Great new spot. Different from the bank street location, but not in a bad way. Lots of seating. Best bagels ever

    Review Highlights - Kettlemans Bagel

I also split a veggie bagel and let me tell you the sweet mustard is worth a trip to Kettleman's all on its own.

There are three ordering stations. One for pastries and truffles, one for straight bagels, and one for coffee, sandwiches/bagels w/ cream cheese, ect. It took us a while to figure it out, but the staff were helpful. I ordered a sesame bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese. Hubs got a latte and the kids got a buttered bagel and fries (which comes with a paprika seasoning on top of the fries). Bagel was nice and thick, and a tad sweet. Of course I am going to compare bagels, but it gave me flashbacks to St-Viateur Bagel in Montreal. Cream cheese tasted homemade and not as salty as Kettelmans bagels. The bagels were good, and I'd go back again, but I prefer Kettlemans.

I stopped in for a drink on a hot summer day. I got the iced chai latte ($4.99) and asked to have…read moreit less sweet than usual. The man said that will be tricky because the chai mix is already sweetened, so he can put in less mix but the chai flavour would be less pronounced. I said I was ok with that. He was right, that my drink had a very subtle tea flavour, which I was expecting. Fortunately, I was happy with the level of sweetness of the drink. It wasn't overly sweet. It was also fairly rich and creamy. What I wasn't too thrilled about though, was the excessive amount of ice in the cup. Like half of the cup was ice :( The shop sells bagels, as per its name, as well as deli meets, desserts, some shelf stable goods, as well as a good selection of bulk Jelly Belly jelly beans, which are very popular with kids. They have some seating inside as well as outside in front of the shop. It'll update if I return to try their bagels, but I likely will not return for any iced drinks, since the cup is mostly ice. Street parking only.

I ordered the vegetarian bagel sandwich, hubs ordered the smoked meat. Both on sesame bagels which are always amazing. Both kids ordered a toasted buttered chocolate chip bagel. They ate some, but weren't a fan. Its a personal preference, I guess. While the hubs and I enjoyed our sandwiches, we both said it didn't "hit" like other locations (we prefer Trainyards). We also giggled at how tiny the pickle spear was. It was a sliver of a sliver, of a sliver, if you get what I mean. It showed up much larger in my photo. For just under 40 bucks with a bag of chips and 2 milks, it's not cheap. Restaurant was large, lighting was dim and relaxing. Customer service was fine and our order was brought to our table which was a nice touch. Gender shared bathrooms were not bad, but could have used a mop. There is also a drive thru on site.

That said my poppy with cream cheese order on a very, very, very cold Sunday was still solid, though the two plain bagels we ordered weren't quite as great as the poppy I ordered here and at the Kettleman's near TD Place we had 2 weeks ago.
