One of the best decisions of my life in Lewes was hiring Lindt Luxury Transportation to pick us up…read moreat our home and take us to the Philadelphia International Airport. The booking process was super easy and I felt the price was worth it when I considered tolls, gas, and the cost of paying to park our car near the airport for two weeks. We received confirmation emails and our driver's personal cell phone number so we could send and receive texts from him. Our highly trained, certified chauffer Larry picked us up on time in a sparkling clean black SUV, dressed in a crisp white shirt and black dress pants. He loaded our very heavy luggage and greeted us warmly. There were a variety of beverages in his Yeti cooler, and a box of snacks as well. We chose our music from the Sirius radio, but really just enjoyed pleasant conversation as we completely relaxed on the drive to the airport. Our vacation truly did begin when we got in that beautiful car. When we arrived at the airport, Larry unloaded our luggage and we were on our way. We received a text before we left Aruba from Larry confirming our reservation and another text when we arrived at the airport. Larry met us inside the airport at the luggage claim and moved our luggage to the car when we were ready. We enjoyed another very calm, relaxing ride back to Lewes after nearly a day of travel leaving Aruba. I HIGHLY recommend this service and will be extremely likely to use Lindt Luxury Transportation in the future if I plan to fly out of Philadelphia International Airport. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

So - I wanted to get a reasonably priced limo for my sister's bachelorette party. We searched all…read morearound the area and could not find an affordable rate.... until we stumbled upon Gateway Limousine. Jenny (the owner) is SUPER nice and our limo driver was a lot of fun and very courteous. The only reason the review isn't 5 stars is just because they seemed a bit unorganized and kept losing our information. Also they don't have a website or any other means to see their business or pictures of the limo.... so at first we were a little hesitant. But honestly for the rate we paid I shouldn't be complaining one bit. We didn't get ripped off in the slightest and the driver was extremely tolerant of the crazy group of tipsy girls in the back. Overall- very impressed. I wanted to put up a review so that other people will consider quoting Gateway Limousine if they are looking for some classy transportation :)

They were friendly, efficient, and dedicated workers. I can't believe how well they cleaned my house. My stove looks like it's brand new and the house looks wonderful. One of our favorites- Fat Mezz' was performing last night, they were great and so was the venue! Watching boats and the ferry' coming and going on a lush green lawn watching live music at sun set made it a great night for us. Our grand daughter, my husband and I had a blast! We are likely to go back each Wednesday for the rest of the summer!! Great night out!

I booked this B&B on a whim to go see an old friend who owns a business in this town. I did a…read moresearch for B&Bs in the area, and chose this one because it was 1. 1 block away from my friend, and 2. truly seemed "lost in the era". I really can't stand B&B'd that have been too modernized. I had to call to book the reservation as the website requests a call before booking any room that is within 24-48 hours of the date requested. I did and the owner was just wonderful on the phone. I got an instant confirmation via email on my booking, and the day of arrival a quick text message confirming my arrival expectation. I was greeted at the door and Mike saw me in. Don't miss taking time to see Miss Louise, the house feline, who believes everyone is just coming to see her! Mike carried my bags up for me and showed me to Amelia's Room. A nice front room with huge poster bed. The room was so nicely decorated with touches of pink and lace. A large fireplace stood center of the main wall. A full private bath with shower. I snapped pics of the room and sent them to my daughter who promptly replied with "GET THE DOLLS OUT!" lol. If dolls creep you out, just ask Mike to remove them in advance! As mentioned, the room faced the main road and so Mike was kind enough to mention that pulling the blinds down would also require pulling the heavy drapes over to eliminate street lights penetrating. He was right! Each room is given a lock code unique to the occupant - a nice touch. The front door has a code box lock as well, very convenient. The house is amazing, and I am sure I did not see everything while there, even though I walked each of the common rooms. Each is appointed with fantastic antiques and art work. The book collection will astound you if you are a book lover like me. I spent the evening in the 3rd floor lounge, sitting on the sweetest of chaise lounges, reading, while enjoying the quiet of a book filled 1850's home! Mike texted me in the morning to let me know that he would make breakfast for me whenever I was ready. Since i was the only guest for this particular morning, I sat at the kitchen island and had the most wonderful conversation while sipping my choice of tea, juice and fruit cup as Mike made me a delicious omelet. We walked in the garden afterwards and you can see all the love he has put into this home. He does it all himself, and truly makes you feel completely at home. I will absolutely be back to this great house!
