Finally, got through to a so- called medical coordinator (Marie), who promised a call back, from either herself, or the doctor the very next day.NEVER HEARD BACK FROM EITHER! Questionable calibration of testing equipment, compared to results from other providers. The technicians seem to have poor training. This is simply a money machine, and medical "mill". It is run more like a fast food restaurant, rather than a responsive and caring medical practice. My advice - stay far, far away! ****As you can see from the tone deaf response to my post below, these clowns ask that I continue to "reach out" to them. That's exactly one of the issues! THEY NEVER RESPONDED TO ME! I'm the patient! Probably too busy making bank deposits!

My review is focused on one doctor, Dr Eric Rosenberg. For over seven years I have been in search…read moreof a Cornea Specialist that has been noted by his peers as one of the unsurpassed in his field. Most of the top cornea doctors I found through my sources were not local. Either overseas or a distance away from NY. I believe in messages that one sometimes misses; the message derived by a source that did not specifically pronounce Dr Rosenberg; s knowledge and experience. After one visit, I was overly committed that I had discovered the right doctor. Dr. Eric Rosenberg has produced in a brief time twenty-five plus journals, article publications, five book chapters, and a full textbook used by many residents and fellows throughout the world titled "Operative Dictations in Ophthalmology," He is always actively researching projects in the field of cornea, refractive, and external diseases. Why we chose this Doctor? He is enthusiastic about his career and his patients. I exceptionally recommend Dr. Eric Rosenberg and propose those in need of an eye specialist who loves his field passionately, and cares for his patience profoundly, connect with him before it is difficult to acquire an appointment. Tell the Doctor. Denise recommended you. As far as the staff, their front desk along with their technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Sight MD is fortunate to have Dr Rosenberg on their staff.

So now that I've had two cataract surgeries from Dr. Sable, I feel qualified to write this review…read more My case is a bit more difficult than most cataract surgeries in that I had lasik surgery in 1998 and that makes cataract surgeries more complex. The reason is that the surgeon needs to base the procedure as to how your eyes were before the corrective lasik procedure. In addition, my right eye, which was my first to require the cataract removal had undergone some sort of a trauma when I was little that I didn't know about, but a number of eye doctors had asked me about it at various points in my life. So anyway, in November of 2018, I underwent cataract surgery on my right eye. Fortunately, I was able to locate my records from my lasik procedure from 1998. This was very helpful but Dr. Sable warned me that there was a good chance that he would need a second procedure to get my vision closer to 20/20 after the first procedure due to the challenges posed by lasik. Well as things turned out, my right eye came out perfect! Two years later I went to Dr. Sable for cataract surgery in my left eye on 10/28. There was superior technology available called a "Wave Tech" machine which tends to have better results for lasik patients. This was going to cost me an extra $500 but because the rep for the company attended my session, they waived the fee. The next day, I went back to Dr. Sable for my post op. The first thing I got was an eye chart test from one of his assistants. To my shock and amazement I was able to read the 20/20 line on the eye chart just one day after my surgery! I will tell you that I was barely able to see the numbers and letters on the line and I read them slowly, but indeed I got all of them correct. Dr. Sable saw my results and was thrilled that they came out so well so soon given the challenge with lasik patients. I have a second post op two weeks after the last appointment as that is how long it takes for the eyes to recover fully at which point I will get a new prescription for reading glasses. Given my favorable results, I would highly recommend Dr. Sable for cataract surgery. The only tip I would give to enhance the experience during Covid would be to wait in the car before entering the office as the waiting room is a little cramped and only has three chairs available due to the 6 feet apart requirements. After Covid things will be comfortable enough as there are about 10 chairs which can accommodate everyone when social distancing is not required.

Ridiculous wait just to be seen - 90 min+++. Rude staff. No one ever answers the phone. NO seating…read more Overflowing w patients i to the hall. No social distancing. Unsafe environment.
