Our loan officer referred us to Kerry when we were looking to buy our first home. My husband and I met with Kerry at her office to discuss our needs. Right from our first meeting, we clicked with Kerry, and our first meeting ended up being over two hours of talking about life and other things. From the first meeting, we could tell that Kerry is very passionate about helping her clients find their homes based on their needs. Kerry was patient with us, especially since this was our first time, and we had a lot of questions. She did more than help us find our first home; she was there when we had doubts and questions and guided us in the right direction. Her love for first-time home buyers is evident in her willingness to teach and share her knowledge. We recommend Kerry for first-time home buyers and anyone looking for an honest and friendly realtor. read more

These are tough times for prospective homebuyers lacking the resources to plop down $500K and up on a property. However, when you have someone like Kerry and her assistant, Kim, working on your behalf, the odds are much more in your favor. Her level of expertise is unimpeachable. In all honesty, this doesn't mean the entire first-time home-buying process will be a total breeze, but it is much easier when you have Kerry around. To say she's on top of things is an understatement. She looks for every angle available so you can be competitive at a time when it is incredibly difficult for so many people to enter the market. I've now heard the home purchasing experiences of others and my reactions range from utter despair to awkward cringing when I hear how they lack the qualities Kerry is imbued with: resourcefulness, grit, cunning, determination, urgency, and wisdom. Thanks to her efforts we have a wonderful home in a community we couldn't even fathom living in. read more

BEST REAL ESTATE AGENT HANDS DOWN! We were referred to Kerry and I am so so thankful. We needed a realtor to help us sell and buy a home. Right off the bat Kerry had us prep our home for staging and referred all the right people that could get it done. We listed our condo for 330k and we sold it for 400k. The staging was so beautiful I'm 100% certain that is how we ended up with such a high offer. In order to avoid a contingency, she worked into the contract to allow us to stay in the property for 2 months. This was key in our search for a new home during this time. Kerry and her assistant Kim helped us look for a replacement home and it wasn't easy during a seller's market in Orange County. We ended up finding a house that was in our budget and I don't know how Kerry does it but her offers are so clean that the seller's agents love working with her. Our offer was accepted without counters. Kerry is your ultimate advocate in selling or buying a home. Even after escrow has closed she is still answering our questions and I can tell that she genuinely cares about her relationships with clients. I will be referring her to everyone I know. read more

Kerry did an incredible job! Her guidance and expertise helped make our home buying experience relatively painless. She has excellent communication skills and was quick to respond to all of our questions. With the market the way it is we would never have found a place without her expert negotiating tactics. Kerry knows all the in and outs of the market and will go above and beyond to ensure you find what you are looking for. We are very happy with our first home purchase. I highly recommend her services! read more

I was referred to Kerry and Kim and I am so glad that I got to work with them. I had been looking for a home for several years in the greater LA area. I did not have an actual realtor until Kerry and Kim because I wasn't able to find one that I could trust. They have been there every step of the process. They were very responsive- every call, email, and message. I really appreciate their professionalism, mentorship, knowledge, honesty, and hard work ethic. I never felt that they were trying to sell me a house, but that they answered my questions so I could make informed and the best decisions. The market was ridiculously competitive. Kerry walked me through every step of the process. She suggested that I write a letter to the sellers. Initially I thought it was weird but it turned out it was one of the reasons why the sellers chose me among others (I was the only one who wrote a letter to them). I now consider Kerry and Kim friends and would highly recommend them to anybody looking for homes or thinking about selling. Thanks again to Kerry and Kim for being such a pleasure to with! read more

Kerry Jackson landed us our dream home! My wife Christine and I were first-time homebuyers in 2020 and we were supremely fortunate to have linked up with Kerry. She is rock steady and truly a cut above as a real estate agent. Kerry scouted out and secured our dream home in Altadena, literally the first showing we went to with her -- she earnestly read through our wish list of housing wants and desired neighborhoods and put together the perfect package. We were struck by Kerry's extensive knowledge of the LA market and her ability to find a pocket that fit our price range and lifestyle. Her property tours were incredibly thorough and her insights on potential repairs, hidden costs, and pain points with properties were spot on. Kerry's vision for our dream home, including upgrades and renovations, really resonated with us and the team of inspectors and contractors she works with are as highly professional and dedicated as she is. As first-timers, Kerry's communication and attentiveness set us up for success. She was able to break down every step of the offer, counteroffer, and escrow process in an approachable and understandable way. From start to finish the experience was efficient and smooth -- a perfect orientation to home buying. Kerry completely exceeded our expectations as an agent, to say she goes the extra mile is an understatement. Even though we just bought a property, we can't wait to work with her again! read more

Kerry was absolutely amazing to work with, and we legitimately could not have done this without her. As first time buyers, she held our hand every step of the way with patience, thoughtfulness, and expertise. She is extremely knowledgeable with a great eye for details and she goes above and beyond for her clients in a way that we never knew we needed. You will find that she is easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We were very appreciative of that kind of personal touch. You will be in very confident, capable and caring hands with Kerry on your home buying team. read more

Working with Kerry, and her assistant Kim, was an absolute pleasure. We were first-time homebuyers, and Kerry was a great combination of patient and realistic. She gave us the time we needed to process everything, while also being honest with us when we needed to shift our expectations. Kerry and Kim were always available when we needed them. They were there for every walkthrough, and were always willing to work late if needed to get an offer revised or sent along in time. We always felt like everything was under control. We were looking at homes across a relatively large area, from North Hollywood through to Highland Park and Pasadena. Kerry was always knowledgeable, and was quick to get useful comparisons to us whenever we needed them. She was always willing to lend her expertise when it came to input on possible renovations, pain points, or future issues with a property. When it came to writing offers, understanding the language that other realtors were using, and overall savviness, we were continually impressed. We felt that every offer we sent in was the absolute best foot we could put forward, largely due to Kerry's expert guidance. She could always tell what a seller was going to care most about, and helped us make sure our offers hit those desires to the best of our ability. In combination with our realtor, who Kerry was happy to communicate with frequently, we were able to put in offers with very fast timelines, which was always enticing for sellers. This was especially important for us as first time homebuyers who didn't necessarily have as much money to put down. Once we were in escrow, Kerry navigated negotiations expertly. We ended up with a home that needed a fair bit of work, but she was able to get a larger credit from the sellers than we hoped, which really made a big difference when we were budgeting for renovations. There was also a complicated situation with the home's title, but Kerry was always there to make sure we understood what was going on and keep us feeling comfortable. We also felt that if there were ever an issue that arose where we might've wanted to back out, she would've been up front and clear about everything, so we could make the best possible decision. With all that said, it's also important to note that Kerry and Kim were just nice, pleasant people to work with. We could not have asked for more from a realtor, and would recommend Kerry to anyone looking in our area. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Kerry and her assistant Kim as a first-time homebuyer, and I am so glad that our paths crossed. The first time we spoke on the phone, I knew Kerry would be a good fit for what I was looking for in a real estate agent. She was extremely knowledgeable about the San Gabriel Valley/Pasadena market I was looking in, and she handled all of my questions and concerns with ease. Kerry's guidance throughout the process was invaluable. She understood my preferences and budget, and when we toured homes, she would tell me exactly the type of offer I'd need to get seriously considered. In such a competitive market, this was valuable information. Within 6 weeks of our first conversation I had an accepted offer! The home inspection turned up some unexpected items that needed repairs, and at this point, I was worried I'd lose the deal if the seller wasn't willing to make some reasonable concessions. But Kerry advised me to be aggressive with the counter offer and, in the end, the seller gave us everything we asked for! It turned an already good deal into an amazing one! Even after closing, Kerry made sure to check in to see how the repairs went, and offered to set me up with reputable contractors in her network. I am so pleased with the job Kerry and Kim did for me, and I highly recommend Kerry to anyone looking for a property in the greater LA area! read more

I knew nothing about buying/selling a house but Kerry knew everything! Not only is she knowledgable about the actual process, but she knows all the right people. Need a paint person? Ask Kerry. Need a floor person? Ask Kerry. Put your trust in her and set the process to easy mode. read more

Kerry helped guide my husband and I through buying our first home. She was super communicative and responsive, usually answering our questions within minutes. All our friends told us horror stories about how difficult buying a home in California can be, but with Kerry, we viewed all the houses we wanted and were able to get the home we wanted on OUR FIRST OFFER. The whole process was so smooth, because Kerry made it so easy. read more

We were referred to Kerry by another agent we found on Yelp, and we're so grateful to have found her. We were first-time homebuyers casually browsing listings when one particular house caught our eye that kicked us into gear. We knew homes in LA were selling fast, but we didn't know what a whirlwind we were in for. Kerry somehow got us the last showing that weekend, and, as soon as we met her, we immediately appreciated her insights into the house, the market, and the whole buying process. With Kerry's guidance and the help of her go-to loan broker, we put in an offer just 24 hours later. We had friends who'd been putting in offers for over a year, so we figured this would be good practice and the start to a long buying process. We were excited (and intimidated) to get a counteroffer... us and 10 other buyers. Using Kerry's expertise, we submitted our own counter - a little higher than our max, but we wanted to know we'd done everything we could. Kerry and Kyle were very communicative, both with us and the listing agent, and it made all the difference - we beat out two higher offers whose teams were less responsive! We were overjoyed and overwhelmed, and what followed was a stressful few weeks of inspections that turned up some major problems with the house. But, armed with reports and quotes, Kerry was able to negotiate a significant amount of money off the listing price and in credits, making it possible for the deal to still go through. We are so thankful to Kerry, Kim, Kyle, and Lisa who all made themselves available around our work schedules. If it hadn't been for the issues the inspections turned up, we would've closed in 3 weeks, but, even with an inspection extension, we closed within a month! We can't recommend Kerry and her team enough. read more

As first time home buyers, we couldn't have asked for a more caring, considerate, and amazing agent than Kerry! She took her time and had a lot of patience for us while we were trying to find a home during this turbulent time of the covid-19 pandemic. She was consistent, honest, and always made sure to communicate with us. What impressed me the most was how knowledgeable she was about every home we went to and knew exactly where to inspect. When we finally did place an offer on a home, she knew precisely how far to go in negotiations and she was always right! Even during the final escrow period we felt like Kerry was always in our corner fighting for us until the end. She is warm, intelligent and truly kind. We couldn't imagine going through this journey with anyone else. Thank you so much Kerry for making our dream home happen! read more

There aren't enough stars for Kerry. She is absolutely amazing and reliable and very responsive. She truly cares and is with you every step of the way. I don't think we would've ever gotten a home if we had gone with someone else. I still bother her for little things here and there and she is always willing to help. read more

Kerry was absolutely incredible to work with. She's a consummate professional. She's very knowledgeable, knows all the ins and outs of real estate, and she's also a very kind human being. My husband and I worked with her two years ago when we bought our house, and she worked with me to sell my house after my husband died, and I honestly don't think I could have gotten through the process with my sanity intact if it hadn't been for her. She was very helpful and extremely empathetic to my situation. I would recommend her to anyone, and I'm so grateful to know her. read more

Kerry is the best! She worked well beyond the normal scope of a typical real estate agent and was friendly and down to earth in the process. She took plenty of time to walk us through the many questions one has when buying a house for the first time. It's an exciting yet scary process but she was always there to discuss and define everything. She asked listing agents detailed questions and pointed out things in a property that wouldn't have even crossed my mind. She also recommended and arranged appointments for inspectors and contractors needed for work that we wanted done on the place after closing Escrow. You can tell she loves her work as she is so dedicated and thorough. She is also breath of fresh air in an otherwise chaotic and competitive industry. Thank you so much Kerry for helping us find our dream home and the hours of hustling and doing your magic to make sure we got it! read more

We highly recommend Kerry, she made the complex process of buying a home seem easy and was our advocate at every turn of our first home buying experience, we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out! We had been working with another realtor prior to meeting Kerry and her service was heads above what we experienced elsewhere. She explained everything to us thoroughly when we made offers and helped make our offers as appealing as possible. She has a great reputation for being the utmost professional and is well liked by the selling agents which worked to our advantage. We will absolutely refer Kerry to everyone we know and will use her exceptional services again in the future. read more

I am so happy to have Kerry as my agent when buying my first house this summer. She is professional and patient to answer lots of questions and walk us through Glendale to Pasadena to Glendora to Sierra Madre (well...first time home buyer and a foreigner knew nothing about the market and process in US). She provides valuable opinions to us during the house hunting and always think ahead to prepare material/information that we need during the escrow period. I finally got my house in such a competitive market. I would definitely recommend her. read more

Kerry has been simply AMAZING! When Kerry and I first met she told me "I'm an advocate for you". It's been true in every step of my home buying process. From my first meeting with her at the office to receiving the keys and turning the lock the first time, she's made the experience so phenomenal and I cannot thank her enough! I was a first time homebuyer and Kerry has been so patient and kind with me every step of the way. At our first meeting she listened and understood what I was looking for, took me to all the listings I wanted (and some I hadn't even considered), never pushed but always gave sound advice and even taught me a couple of things to look out for so I could be more knowledgeable when I attended open houses. She was always quick to respond and available for any questions (big or small I had), and was always plugged into the housing market and the areas. I am so happy with my new home and new neighborhood and without her I wouldn't have even thought to look at it or the area. She's warm, honest, friendly, highly professional and ultimately the best advocate for you, I will be forever grateful for all she's done and am definitely recommending her to everyone I know. 5 stars for Kerry! read more

Kerry is cream of the crop! She worked incredibly hard to find a home that had everything we wanted. She is a great listener, but also offered good advice. She didn't show us any homes that were out of our budget or that didn't fit within our wants. Kerry went above and beyond to research schools and neighborhoods to paint the best possible picture for us. She is very knowledgeable about the market. When came time for us to make an offer she displayed Jedi-like negotiation skills that would bring a tear to the eye of Obi-Wan Kenobi. There were multiple offers on the home we wanted and time was of the essence. Kerry dropped everything to race to the office and draw up the paperwork. We got the home because of Kerry's general awesomeness. read more

While looking to buy our first house, my wife and I found Kerry in a roundabout kind of way while already involved with a different agent. We had doubts about our first agent and after meeting Kerry, the decision to switch to her was easy. Kerry is the perfect combination of professional and personable. She's very goal-oriented and hustles (she's a machine!) but with consideration for what's best for her clients as her ultimate priority. When faced with choices she gave us her opinion but was intent on knowing our thoughts - working with her was a true collaboration and a pleasure. She asked several questions we never considered and really helped guide us through the process. After helping us secure the home we eventually bought (which we're thrilled with) she continued to follow up even though her job was done. We can't recommend her enough. read more

I had a wonderful time working with Kerry! She's warm, fun and really made the whole process (which could be super stressful and painful) really easy. I told her what I wanted, and within a few short weeks, she had pinpointed the exact place that I ended up buying. I have worked with Kerry Jackson twice, once as a buyer and, more recently, as a seller. I have bought and sold several houses over the years, and Kerry is, hands down, the best of the best. She devoted a great deal of time and effort to the sale of my home and provided top notch service throughout the process. She developed a highly effective marketing strategy. She spent a lot of time preparing the house for sale and staged it beautifully so that it would show at its absolute best. She generated a ton of interest in the listing and showed the house to many potential buyers, executing on her strategy beautifully. The result: multiple strong offers and a sale that was significantly over asking price. Kerry clearly knows the greater Pasadena market extremely well, and she knows what works best to sell a house in this market. She will work very hard for you, and she is an absolute pleasure to work with -- professional, responsive, and always there to guide you through the process. I give her my highest recommendation! read more

Kerry sold our condo in Pasadena for top dollar! It was the highest selling unit per square foot in the building. She knows the market well and suggested a great listing price that brought in many potential buyers. We were on the market less than a week and had 10+ offers within days of listing. She knows exactly how to get the property ready to sell, who to call to stage it, paint it, upgrade electrical and even bring in any additional contractors that may be needed. Working with Kerry is so easy! She walks you though every aspect, her communication is excellent! I have now bought and sold a property with Kerry and I can honestly say I wouldn't want to work with anyone else. She is the best! read more

I had two great experiences with Kerry in the span of six months - first, when searching for and buying a townhouse in Pasadena, and then again when I was unexpectedly transferred out of town and had to sell the townhouse only a few months later. When I was buying, I was not familiar with the area, so her incredible knowledge of Pasadena and the surrounding neighborhoods was invaluable. She walked through numerous properties with me to help me narrow down my search to a particular neighborhood and property type, and thanks to her patience and dedication, we found a townhouse that at a great value. She then made the buying process smooth and painless. Then, when I needed to re-sell the property a few months later, Kerry really went above and beyond to help me, including coordinating contractors for re-painting and making repairs, a professional stager, and even finding a mover for me on short notice. She got the property looking amazing in just a couple of weeks, and I received an offer above list price before it even went on the market. Thanks to her helping me get a great deal in buying, and then obtaining a great offer in selling, I managed to make a profit even factoring in all costs associated with the two sales, after owning the property for less than six months and not making any significant upgrades. I've used several real estate agents in the past, and Kerry is by far the best I've dealt with. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone either buying or selling. read more

Kerry dealt with my husband during the process of finding a home. If only I could give her 6 stars, I would. She is knowledgeable, punctual on time, gave market conditions information, price guidance, handle the volume of paperwork we need to take care of, and answering all our questions before, during and after closing. It was tough months to find a specific yet cozy home "just for us", but by Kerry Jackson as our real estate agent, it was no sweat at all! She was the best!!!! read more

I have used Kerry for multiple transactions and she continues to impress. Tough negotiator, great eye for house value, nerves of steel and passion to deliver iconic service for her clients. We had an amazing experience with Kerry! I honestly could not be happier that she was our realtor, and should we move again in the future we'll definitely enlist her help again. Kerry represented us as we tried to search for a house in the Pasadena / South Pasadena / Alhambra area. The real estate market is so crazy--we were so glad that we had such an attentive, knowledgeable, and kind person to guide us through it. We were buying our first house, so we definitely needed the help! Kerry was always responsive and was great about sending us listings, responding to emails and phone calls, and showing up to look at houses. Before we put in offers, she walked through each house with us, going over it with a fine-tooth comb, identifying problems, and giving us her honest opinion. We managed to buy a house that we absolutely LOVE within about a month, which is pretty amazing. She also did a fantastic job representing us through the buying process. We managed to navigate a difficult seller and come away with a lot of the things we wanted, and it's all thanks to Kerry! DO NOT hesitate to call Kerry--you won't regret it. I like her so much that I hope we'll stay friends. read more

Kerry is a smart and caring realtor with great instincts. Before working with her I had made several unsuccessful offers through two other realtors and was almost at the point of giving up my dreams of becoming a homeowner. Kerry helped me craft an offer that beat multiple offers on a townhouse in Pasadena. When writing the offer, what I appreciated about most about Kerry was her thorough analysis of the comps and her help in developing an effective strategy for the offer. At the late minute, we were at the risk of delay in closing, but she pushed everybody to make sure that I could close on time. Throughout the home buying process, she offered constructive advice but never pushed to make a decision that I wasn't comfortable with. I felt that I could trust her to represent me and felt that she had my best interest at heart. She was a pleasure to work with and, most importantly, she helped me become a first-time homebuyer! read more
