During his visit with Dr. Lavi he insisted he get new blood work to confirm his diagnosis yet failed to submit the right order. The office acknowledged their mistake but said the doctor refused to put in the correct order because my husband had been approved to see a podiatrist (for an unrelated issue) so he recommended he have the podiatrist treat him for gout. When I called member service to report him they disclosed the doctor had no notes about gout in his file. He failed to do his job in every way.

He spent close to an hour with me, talking things through and looking things up on his phone for me. I've never felt so validated and TAKEN CARE OF in my life. (Which is crazy, because isn't that what doctors are supposed to do in the first place?) The only "real" negative about Dr.Dorio's office is the office itself. It's a bit like you time traveled to an asylum in the 70s -- small, windowless rooms, very dark hallways, etc. I definitely wouldn't want to be alone in there when the sun goes down, that's for sure! After allll that I called the office and asked them to IMMEDIATELY change and remove the diuretic medication from his blood pressure medication, the office staff assured me they would remove it.
