My husband and I were out for a driver up to the Lake George Outlets and decided to go for a bite to eat. Found this dinner and noticed how full the parking lot was. A good indication of a good restaurant. Inside was small but it reminds us of a diner from the 60s and you could tell it was a neighborhood dinner. Many were greeted by their first name. The menu is simple but had quite a few options. All your typical dinner food, everything looked so good. I had Buffalo cream chicken soup that was amazing. Just a little bit of heat. And of course breakfast is served all day so my husband had his eggs over easy, toast and bacon. He said it hit the spot. So if you are in the area please stop by, you will not be disappointed.

Good little spot for breakfast at a reasonable price. Got the western omelette with American cheese and it was very good but the home fries were just average. Service was also not the best but overall an ok experience and I would go back again .

It's closed. Big sign "For Sale by Owner" on the door. Ended up going to McDonald's because it was close to the highway.

The sangria alone may be worth the trip to this place! When I asked our server about the sangria,…read moreshe smiled and said I would like it. She was right. It was delicious. We both agreed that the layers of colors in the drink made it look exceptionally pretty. I didn't know what to expect when I asked to visit Uncle Mario's Garage but I'd seen the tv commercials. My friend and I were about to drive past the restaurant so I suggested we take a look inside. It was supposed to have a lot of antique car memorabilia and we both like that stuff. Somehow, I missed the part about the giant brick oven, live music and all of the funny-crazy displays. I walked past a Halloween display near the entrance consisting of skeletons riding a motorcycle suspended in the air with an American flag and an upside down rowboat. Near the bar there are stuffed animals doing inappropriate things like the raccoon holding a can of beer and a cigarette. When I sat down in the dining area, I took one look at the giant oven and knew we had to order a pizza again for dinner even though we had Kay's Pizza the night before. The medium size pizza with pepperoni and sausage looked normal enough but it was an exceptionally good pizza. Nice thin, crispy crust. Not too cheesy. Remarkably, we could not finish the pizza so we boxed the rest and took it home. Our server was really nice and very helpful. The music by the Saratoga String Band was wonderful, too. They could play anything including a nice rockabilly cover by the Stray Cats. There's even an upstairs gift shop which offered a remarkable array of items including pottery, handbags and snacks. This was a fun place to visit. The staff is great and so are the food and drinks.

I really wanted to like this place, but sadly it didn't come close to making me happy…read more Service was very slow, though the waitress was nice. I ordered a specialty drink off the menu and asked for it to be made sweeter if possible, but it tasted as though it had been watered down. The server didn't ask if I liked it, which I thought was bizarre, because a simple sugar packet would have made the biggest improvement. The drink came with mini blueberries that got stuck in the straw with every sip--super annoying. I got a chicken sandwich and asked to switch out the cheese. They did, but added onion (which I hate) and left off the spicy mayo. My husband's sandwich had added tomatoes for no reason--just weird. We also asked specifically whether their grilled chicken sandwiches came with a thin piece of grilled chicken, since that was important to both of us. We were told yes, but it wasn't true--I had to manhandle mine and split it in half just to eat it. Most of the fries were decent and tasted good, until I came across two raw-ish ones stuck together that were soggy. By that point, I was just over my meal.

Quite unique.! The food was par. Fish and fried shrimp were overcooked to coffee brown. The wings are delicious. The shrimp cocktail was good. The French onion soup was superb. The burgers were big and awesome. The problem was the service. One waitress for 80 people is not enough! We were seated and then she finally got to our table for a drinks order. Beers and waters. All good. Food order goes in. We don't see our waitress again. Takes 30 minutes for the food to come meandering out of the kitchen and delivered by kitchen staff. Still no waitress for more beers. Food was as described earlier. Still no beers. I go to the bar to get more. I am told it will be a few minutes. Still no more beers. Some of our gang go home because they Never Got Service! We were there for 90 minutes and got 2 beers. Then came the tab. $160 for six people not including the tip. Paid in cash! Nice place. Local favorite. I would skip it if not for my friends being local and taking us there. They say that management tries to run the place with one waitress usually. Too Bad! Poor or no service is costing you lots of money.

My son said his fried clams were tender, sweet and not greasy at all. The waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere was happy and celebratory. The drinks are average but they do have specials. A good place!

Enjoyed a quiet adventure to the Log Jam recently. It was nice to have a bar that wasn't lined with…read moretelevisions. It wasn't a rowdy bunch and the draw for me to come today was the salad bar. Love the old cash register and the serving staff is top notch. This is a busy restaurant, so expect to either make a reservation or wait for a bit. Let's talk about the fall menu that dropped this week. I wish I took a photo to show you, however, their main entrees (non-steak or seafood section) consist of 6 options and out of the 6, three of them are pork entrees. Baby back ribs, pork chops and then a third option. What was missing?? A chicken entree. There's literally one chicken sandwich on the menu and it's a sandwich. The bartender offered to have grilled chicken and veggie. Their only veggie is broccoli. Seasonal for fall would include squash usually. Love the log jam and will be back, but I may wait for a new menu to drop, this one didn't hit with me. I studied it for like 15 minutes trying to find something. It felt very alienating because I swell up from pork and I don't like eating a lot of bread or fried items. Had the haddock which was roughly a 3.5 oz portion with about 2 cups of broccoli. The broccoli was perfectly cooked, however, it's a cruciferous vegetable. In large quantities it can easily upset a tummy, which it did with mine. Enjoyed the haddock a lot, it was really well cooked. Ultimately, when I think of going to log jam, I don't immediately think I'm going for a burger, I immediately think I'm going for a healthy and delicious chicken entree. Next time maybe! The reason why having 3 out of 6 main entrees pork could be a dilemma for some patrons is: (1) it's inflammatory; (2) gout patients; (3) naturally high in sodium; (3) religious reasons. 4 out of 5 - look forward to the next menu drop!
