From start to finish, Emma was great with communication in planning. She texted over project options with paintings or clay art. My daughter chose clay and Emma sent over photos of sample projects she could choose from. My daughter asked to do a "Bluey" clay art project and I thought to ask even though I didn't see any samples in the studio. Emma asked for an image and within a few days they created one for the guests to replicate. That was appreciated as my daughter and her guests love Bluey and were so tickled to be able to make one. We did have a hiccup on the day of the party but Emma, her studio manager and staff were able to accommodate everything without batting an eyelash! I appreciated their flexibility and ability to pivot flawlessly. The staff were so helpful with setup and always making sure everyone had what they needed. They took care of cleaning up the space, and disposing of any party remnants for us at the end of the event. Our instructor was so friendly and talented. She went around to help any of the guests who needed assistance on their project. Emma was so friendly and thoughtful. She made sure there were personal touches and made sure each guest felt special. She checked on us frequently during the event as well. My daughter loved it and so did her friends. I wouldn't hesitate to hold another birthday party here again. Thank you to Emma, our instructor, the studio manager and the staff!!

You'll be amazed what your little ones can produce given the right environment and coaching. They experience with various mediums including paintings, pencil sketches, and clay. Give the trial class a shot and see for yourself! Once you're engaged, you'll have the option of a 10 or 22 week program. They also have two different age groups for the classes (5-8 year olds and 8+ year olds). The classes are typically an hour and a half and parents are encouraged not to hover. Go home, take a walk, venture to the nearby mall and grab a cream roll from Balkh. The parking lot is plentiful so you should have no problem getting a spot. It might be tight and busy but the churn is quick. They also host birthday parties so if you're looking for a place to host clay art party for your child, see if they fit your plans! They have been around for many years but we just came across it recently. If your children has any interest in art (I'm sure they do!), please consider Green Forest!

My older child (now 5) graduated from Safari, and my younger one is currently enrolled. The growth, curiosity, and confidence I've seen in both of them have been incredible. From the very beginning, Safari Kids has been supportive and nurturing not just in academic development, but emotional and social growth as well. There's a good balance of academics, arts and crafts, and activities. My oldest came home every day excited to share what he learned -- from phonics, numbers, and early reading skills to big, thoughtful topics like the circle of life, recycling, the planets, and more. The arts and crafts activities also helped spark his creativity. I was constantly amazed by how much he knew -- sometimes even more than what I'd expect from a kindergartner! One of the moments that really stood out for me was when we welcomed a new baby at home. The transition was a bit hard on my older child, but the teachers handled it with such care. They encouraged him to bring family photos and share stories about his baby brother during show and tell. That simple gesture helped him feel seen and proud in his new role as a big brother. Now, with my younger child just three months into Safari (after previously being in home daycare), I'm already seeing tremendous growth. He adjusted quickly thanks to the warm, welcoming teachers -- and the daily updates and photos helped ease the transition for us too. He's now picking up new words daily and becoming more expressive and independent. The teachers at Safari Kids truly care, and it shows in everything they do. This is a school with a strong sense of community, the teachers know all the kids (even if not in same classroom) and the parents invite other kids to birthday parties. I highly recommend Safari Kids to other parents as an enriching place for their children to grow.

From the very beginning, the staff were welcoming, and supportive. Our child's journey through preschool has been filled with so many beautiful memories, milestones, and moments of growth - and the teachers have played an important role in it. The curriculum strikes a perfect balance between structured learning and play-based activities. It has nurtured curiosity, encouraged creativity, and helped build the foundation for lifelong learning and friendship. We have seen our child grow in confidence, kindness and joy, and we are so grateful for the positive, caring environment. Communication with the school has been good. We receive regular updates, photos, and newsletters, which help us stay connected to what's happening in the classroom. As any other parent we also had certain concerns/suggestions, the staff were open for feedback and addressed our concerns. The facilities are clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed for young learners. Overall, I recommend Safari Kid, Union City to any parent looking for a positive and well-rounded early education experience. As my child is all set to start Kindergarten, a special shout out to the teachers - Ms. Sarbani, Ms. Maliha, Ms. Sathyam, Ms. Shobha, Ms. Anu and Ms. Shailaja - Thank you again! Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for families made such a positive impression on us from the very beginning. I am extremely disappointed with how this gymnastics facility handled my daughter's injury…read more My 6-year-old daughter injured her neck during a forward roll in the morning. Despite the injury involving her neck, no one contacted us to inform us that an incident had occurred. We only learned about it at pickup around 3:30 PM, when we noticed her neck was significantly swollen and she was in pain. We then took her to the ER, where doctors spent over 7 hours evaluating her to rule out a spinal injury. We did not get home until 3:00 AM. Thankfully, it was not a more serious injury, but the situation could have been much worse. The following day, I met with the facility to understand why we were never notified. The explanations I received were concerning. The front desk staff could not provide a clear account of what happened because different instructors worked the morning and afternoon shifts. It appeared there was little communication or proper handoff between staff members. I was surprised by how disorganized the operation seemed. I was told that staff did not re-evaluate my daughter's condition in the afternoon because she said she was "fine." She is only 6 years old. Children are not always able to accurately assess or communicate the severity of an injury, especially a neck injury. It is the responsibility of trained staff to monitor the situation and notify parents when an injury occurs. When the owner, Danielle, later joined the conversation, she stated that her staff "did exactly what they were supposed to do" and that this had been their protocol for 15 years. She also said they would pay closer attention to my daughter next time. Unfortunately, that completely misses the point. This is not just about my daughter--it is about the safety of every child in their care. Any neck injury should be treated seriously, and parents should be informed immediately. What disappointed me most was not only the lack of communication, but also the lack of accountability. Rather than acknowledging that improvements could be made, management defended a process that failed to notify parents of a potentially serious injury. As a parent, I can no longer trust this facility with my child's safety. I would strongly encourage other parents to carefully consider whether this is the level of communication and care they expect when leaving their children in someone else's supervision.

My kids LOVE Steve & Kate's camp in Fremont. Seriously, it's what every parent dreams a summer camp…read morewill be like until you try some other camps. Steve & Kate's is open long hours, which is perfect for us busy parents. They offer such a huge variety of activities, and they even provide lunch--so no more packing lunches every morning! This is the third year my boys, ages 6 and 8, have attended summer camp here. They absolutely love seeing some of the same camp counselors each year. Even though they've been to other camps together like art camp, several sports camps, and exclusive club camps, Steve & Kate's is the one camp they ask to go back to every year. We also really appreciate that they aren't separated by age. At other camps, even a small age difference would mean they couldn't be together, but here, they get to hang out and play together all day. My athletic son is obsessed with playing gaga ball--something he's only found at Steve & Kate's. He also loves playing basketball, table tennis, and foosball there. My other son, who's super into art, learned how to sew at camp. He made a bunch of cool stuff and loved it so much that we even pulled out our sewing machine at home to work on projects together. What's awesome is the free play aspect--my kids love that there isn't a set schedule, so they can do whatever they want. They also really enjoy going outside and playing. The staff is fantastic, always making sure the kids are having fun and are well taken care of. The director, Joshua, is so fabulous. It's obvious that he really enjoys his job and helps the kids have a fun and memorable summer. I've seen my kids grow in confidence and make so many friends. And we can't forget about the last day of camp--it's a HUGE carnival! My kids raved about it well into the school year. My youngest was so inspired by the different games and prizes that he ended up having a carnival-themed birthday party and made his own carnival games. Another great thing about Steve & Kate's is the flexibility. You don't need to book the camp months ahead of time--you can just sign up the night before and you're good to go. Plus, you don't need to commit to the entire week, which is perfect if you just want to send the kids for a couple of days during the week. I tell all parents about Steve & Kate's and how amazing it is. Also, if your company offers Bright Horizons, definitely take advantage of it--it's such a great combo with this camp. Highly recommend!

After that experience, I reached out to Code Ninjas and was very open about my concerns regarding my son being excluded or treated differently because of his race. They immediately reassured me that this would be a safe and welcoming space for him and made it very clear that racial discrimination or exclusion would not be tolerated, period. After what we had previously experienced, that reassurance meant so much to me as a parent, and, more importantly, they have consistently lived up to it. My son has always felt welcomed, included, and comfortable here. The staff are incredibly friendly and caring, and I especially want to recognize David and BJ. They have been wonderful with my son and have helped him grow tremendously in his coding skills and confidence. I have always felt comfortable leaving him here knowing that he is safe, respected, and treated like he belongs. Unfortunately, our family has made the decision to move away because of the consistent racism and exclusion we have experienced while living in Fremont. Our move will take us too far away for my son to continue attending Code Ninjas, but otherwise, he absolutely would. I will forever be grateful to David, Vijay , and the entire team. They gave my son a place where he could simply learn, grow, have fun, and be a kid without having to worry about being treated differently because of the color of his skin. That has meant more to our family than they probably realize. They are truly wonderful people, and we wish them and Code Ninjas nothing but continued success.
