Since then both are doing well and performing above grade level both in school and standardized testings. Most of all I see their confidence grow in their own abilities and love learning! Here are ways this Kumon Center worked great for us ( I am especially reviewing this particular location... because the staff has a LOT to do with the success of my kids) 1. Personal Attention: About every Quarter or so the program director, Maggie, has one on one time with myself and my children to come up with their own personal goals as well as review their progress. This has enabled them to take personal responsibility and also see how far they've come! 2. Consistency : The daily packets & repetition helps them keep learning. 3. Helpful staff and personal help...I am always able to get help, my questions answered about the kids progress, homework etc. 4. They are being taught the principles and not just the mechanics which will help beyond Kumon. At times, he'll even let in some jokes that makes the class more than just "a place to learn." Additionally, the college counseling service price is quite affordable, and my counselor knows how to bring out the best of my writing for my college application essays.
