He went and got it and rudely comments.... Do you want a receipt. The whole time acting like he was irritated and put out by her mere presence and definitely when asked any questions. I couldn't believe the customer service there. How rude and obviously rude at that. I then asked to see the kittens. The lady said we could, but needed to wash our hands. We all obliged. We went back to see the kittens and the whole time we were back there. I felt very out of place myself. My granddaughter didn't move much at all. My friend looked and talked to the kittens. We were rushed and the guy came in and said people coming it was was time for us to go. My friend asked when the kittens would be available to adopt and was pretty much shut down when the lady said it would be when they were weaned from their mother but they would have to see if she could even be able to get one. She wasn't able to even ask for a specific one to put on hold, but then we were told they were all available except two which tells me someone put them on hold. (but that isn't the big deal here, it is just part of the visit) So we then hurried on up front. My granddaughter told me she needed to use the potty. (We are potty training, so I didn't want to make her wait and we are fast) So I explained we needed to borrow the potty and we would be on our way.... More eye rolling and a little huff and puff and faces made. I am not one to write reviews. Good or bad, but this was something that bothered me and has continued to stay mind. It bothered me to see my friend be so looked down up on in the kitten room and to be so ignored and have faces made at the counter. If I had my way. She would never step foot in there again. It was a terrible experience and the worst customer service I have seen yet this year.

He brought the kitten in with the intention of feeding it and letting it back outside -- which we did -- but the next day, we inquired about the kitten, found out it was just a friendly stray, and well, volunteered to take it in. And with that, Luna Mae became the third cat in our little animal family. She purred as we gave her a shower to wash off the dirt and fleas, and she warmed up to us quickly. We adored her. That said, we needed to get her to the vet for some shots and a check-up. We asked some friends if they had any recommendations and they pointed us here to Cleveland Animal Clinic. We met with Dr. Cleveland (and the friendly crew) and they gave Luna Mae the kitten shots she needed over four visits. Then came the time when we needed to get her fixed. This is done during select days of the week -- it is suggested the pet is dropped off when the clinic opens and picked up in the middle of the afternoon. I dropped Luna Mae off one rainy Friday. When I went to pick her up, they had an interesting story to tell me. Apparently, when the vet opened Luna with the intention of removing her uterus, there was none! They re-checked under all the fluffy fur and found the male parts..... and did what needed to be done. So.... we had a boy! We changed Luna's name to Cash. And had a pretty good laugh at that story. I was a bit disturbed later on that they didn't double-check the reproductive parts before prepping for surgery, but I guess they had just taken our word for it and overlooked the bits under the fur. (I had previously thought it was a boy, myself, but my husband said it was a girl.... go figure). I was not charged for the extra surgery, thankfully. Also, everything I've had to do was affordable and reasonably priced. I'm very happy about that. Despite the mix-up with the surgery, we're still using this clinic (and have been back already to get some medicine for a sick Luna Cash) but I prefer Dr. Barron. And we have a funny story to share!

What I loved is that she has worked in animal rescue and still does, and being that I run an animal rescue, I knew she would be the perfect fit. Because of her, I can go on vacation with complete peace of mind and truly enjoy myself, knowing my animals are being cared for with the same love and attention I would give them myself. The daily updates and photos she sends mean the world to me and make me feel connected even when I'm away. I knew as an older rescue, Buddy would not be with me as long as most of my fur family members, but he soon settled into a farm life with a "I will try" attitude. However, he drew the line at chickens. During the last few months, I monitored him with a scale recommended by an understanding and knowledgeable Frankfort Animal Clinic (FAC) office staff member. The leaving time for a friend is not easy at all. After a few false starts, I accepted what I had to do and made an appointment with Dr. Morgan. She handled the situation with kindness, understanding, and professionalism assisted by Rudy. Dr. Morgan explained about a sedative-for Buddy, not me- and I appreciated that greatly. All the paperwork/business end was completed in the privacy of an exam room. I appreciated that so very much; I hate to cry in public. The office staff member (I did not ask your name-I am sorry) came to me and dealt with the paperwork. She even brought me the RX's I had ordered for another fur friend. Rudy explained I could go outside, and she would bring Buddy to my car. The FAC staff probably see this scenario weekly, but this very difficult situation was new for me; I appreciated their professional care and their gentleness in dealing with Buddy and me. Dr. Wade King was just going to euthanize them without a sedative that would alleviate their fear (our Springer was violently shaking!). Another time, Dr. King examined our15-year-old Cavalier King Charles spaniel. He was bonded to our 16-year-old English Springer Spaniel, whom we had to put down three weeks earlier. Dr. King said that our Cavy's bloodworks were fine. He said that we can pay $1,000 of dollars for him to do exploratory surgery ... on a 15-year-old dog!! We told him absolutely not. Again, he was just going to euthanize him, but we demanded he give him a sedative. After our little guy was dead, Dr. King touched his eye in front of us to see if was dead. In all the time we saw Dr. King, not once did he ever touch or talk to our dogs. He doesn't appear to like animals. He like the money. He just got the job done. Two weeks ago, out vet was closed so we had to take our mixed breed 13-year-old girl to have her severe diarhhea treated. Our vet would normally treat her with an anti-diarrhea drug. Dr. King, however, would not treat the diarrhea until he performed a $250! blood test. The blood test, not came back normal. So he gave us the drug to stop the diarrhea. All said and done, we paid more than $300 to stop her diarrhea. We know person who said that Dr. King is not qualified to be a gardener. I wouldn't want him touch my plants. Find someone else. Someone who cares about you and your pet. Who you and your pet as something more than a money maker.
