Why would this business be willing to make a $15K "donation" to help me thru my GoFundMe? I lost my job of more than 30 years a Graphic Designer in April. Going on 4 months & I haven't been able to find anything in my field or anything for that matter. I shared the link for the GoFundMe that my friends created for me & started being contacted by various people that wanted to "help" me. I was emailed a "check" & told that I'd receive a $15K donation but I had to make a $500 payment first!! Really !!!? I told them I needed to do some research first. I've already been scammed by another douche. They seemed offended & kept pushing. I finally said I appreciate them wanting to help, but I was uncomfortable with the details & was declining the offer. They sent the "check" anyway. I noticed the date on the "check" was May of 2024!!!?? There's no way that was a "mistake". That was probably part of how they get you!! I just wanted to make you aware. If it was a legit donation, my loss! I can't be too careful though. I'll be glad to email you a copy of the "check" & the conversation. 40 something emails. Kent Mitchell is the worst place to deal with. They had our camper for months and gave us the run around about what they were doing to it. Our insurance paid them $3500 to fix the slide out where it leaked and they put a roof membrane over rotten wood. we pick it up and take it to camp and it leaked worse than before and they refuse to fix it. They got their money now so they do not care. Customer service is the worst I've ever seen. Please think twice before bringing it to this place. It was horrible. read more

I would not let them work on my Bird House much less my RV. We left our RV for TWO MONTHS with them not only did they not FIX ONE PROBLEM! They took parts OFF then lied about IT! Left us looking for water caps and a hot water heater anode over a weekend. When I called to complain? They just ignored my calls read more

We were interested in an older Class B RV that is relatively hard to find. On the website, they listed one for sale at a price that was too good to be true. Because this was a new trade-in, it had yet to go through service and detail. I had two days worth of multiple conversations with the salesman, and he relayed the owner of the dealership's comments to me as well on the condition of this unit. The word pristine came up multiple times. I made a decision that I really wanted to go see this as soon as possible, and actually had money in hand as well as insurance set up in case we bought it. This was based off of the assurance that this RV was in "pristine" condition. The word pristine was used over and over, plus the vehicle only had 20K miles on it, making me feel that they were not being deceptive. When we got there, the paint and clearcoat was completely peeling off the bottom of the RV ( I was told that the clear coat was peeling slightly at the very bottom), the upholstery was stained (I was told it was not), wood around upholstery was rotting, brittle and falling apart, the heating coil unit that was in one of the enclosed areas outside of the camper was corroded badly, air condition did not work properly (I was told it was "ice cold but there was a humming noise that was possibly a blower, otherwise the air worked fine"), cabinets were warped from water damage, engine was dirty, and there was caulking around all of the outside windows that looked awful. Will not even consider buying a unit from this dealership in the future. read more

I purchased a Keystone Sprinter in April of 2015 and was unable to use the 5th wheel due to two cancer surgeries. We were planning a trip to Tennessee and in the process of getting the camper ready noticed that a motor for the slide had failed. I called to speak to the service manager and was told not to cancel the trip that they would fix the motor even if the had to take one off of another RV (this supports the other complaint above). I called back and was told my the service writer to send a picture of the motor and they would overnight a motor to their location. I sent the pictures at 11:00 AM and it was opened at 11:30 PM. I called back at 3:00 PM and they stated that they did not receive the pictures. After realizing what had taken place it was too late to order the motor. The motor was ordered the next day and was received on Wednesday of that week. The service manager and the service writer were never on the same page with communications. Although they had agreed to send a tech to my residence for a $110.00 charge, when questioned on Wednesday, the service writer stated he had no tech scheduled. Long story short, I fixed the motor my self. I left for the trip on a Thursday and on Friday morning was barely able to get the slide closed. I called Kent Mitchell (8:00 AM) and spoke with the service manager and was told they would contact Keystone RV manufacturer and attempt to have a service tech meet me at my destination. I did not hear back from them and called at 12:00 noon to inquire and again was told by the service writer that someone was meeting me at the destination. The service writer obtained all of the information needed including my site number and stated that someone would be there at 3:00 PM to fix the problem. We wasted a Friday evening, a day Saturday, and a day Sunday trying to locate someone to fix this. None of the dealers in Knoxville, Tennessee would help. Keystone was of no help. Out of frustration I called the Kent Mitchell and spoke to the service manager and was told they were calling Keystone RV's again. There warranty person called and gave me a person's name and stated that I would receive a call in thirty minutes--this never happened. I called again that evening and spoke with the service manager. I stated the I would never do business with Kent Mitchell again after what I had been through. He told me that he would do me a favor, "Never bring your RV into our business for service." I talked to the owner on Thursday and was told that he would take care of this and someone would call in thirty minutes--NEVER HAPPENED. My recommendation is to be very careful when dealing with this business or Keystone RV products. Keystone does not have a list of dealers that have mobile technician capabilities for repairs. I hired a local self employed tech and was able to get my RV back home. read more
