Limitless Mobile Rv Repair - She is what keeps me in a straight line

Limitless Mobile Rv Repair

(1 review)

I already expect them to reply and try to defend themselves. All I can say is, always read & trust…read morethe reviews!! Trust your gut! This started in July, we had an issue with our batteries, it was a Saturday & no one was open except Limitless. I paid over $500 he then starts talking to my mother in law (MIL). She has an older RV that needs work. He says he can do all of it, gives her an acceptable price. A couple of days, he sends an estimate for my MIL. She asks if he will do the work for $2000. He agrees to do the work for $2000. **Remove old awning, install new awning fabric. Labor =$450.00 Fabric= $400 TOTAL= $850.00 **Stabilize & secure entrance steps for safety. Labor= $90. PARTS: Universal step board, motor, fuse, wiring = $975.00 TOTAL= $1065.00 ** Remove existing invertor, install new invertor. Labor= $90. Parts= $350.00 TOTAL= $440. The total would have been $2355, he agreed to do it for $2000. He wanted payment in FULL upfront, but I told him she was willing to give him a 50% deposit. Well he got $1000 from my MIL & disappeared for like 2 weeks. Almost 2 months later, my MIL calls & says that he called her saying everything is done. She asked us to check, nothing was done. He admitted to being unable to doing the awning, so that was going to be removed from the balance due. He stated it was because the walls are soft due to water damage. We had the walls checked, they are fine & not "soft". He came back out to the house to wrap things up...again we got a call that he was finished & looking for payment. My husband called him & told him to come back out & walk us through the work that was done, if its done, we will settle up. He came back the next day & started WORKING ON THE RV AGAIN!!! He had his wife with him, they were going on about how he fixed a bathroom fan & some lights for her at NO ADDITIONAL COST, please remember that. So then I ask about the steps. He goes to show me how they work fine but its not working and he says "Oh, They have them tied up under here". What???? How could you have put in a NEW step board, motor and wiring & not know that the step is tied up under the RV?? He unties it...its the same old beat up step board. I didn't say anything cause I already know where this is going. So then the wife starts doing the math, removing the awning from the balance. But she's doing it off the original invoice. I tell her I have it in writing where he agreed to $2000, he agrees & then ADDS $100 for the bathroom fan &lights lol. But, I don't even say anything cause I already know he didn't do any of the work & already got $1000. My husband asks to see the inverter, He shows him the inverter. He opens the hatch & points & says my MIL wanted the cheapest available he that's why its all crusty & dirty lol. No, it was never touched so THATS why it was all crusty and dirty. We were leaving in our RV that day for a few days. Our RV was parked next to MILs. We tell him we don't have time, send us a VIDEO of the step working when he is done. 45 minutes later, we are all packed up and ready to leave. My husband had pulled our RV out to our street...5 minutes later Jason texts my husband & says he's finished lol. I guess he saw the RV was no longer parked next to hers & assumed we left. My husband gets out of the truck & walks over there, ready??? The step is NOT fixed. Again my husband tells him to send us a VIDEO. Less than an hour later he sends my husband pictures of the step, no video, saying he's done. I send my dad outside to the RV to check...not only is it not working, its a serious safety hazard because its completely unstable. So we tell Jason that the step isn't working. He starts with the name calling & harassment. Says we just don't want to pay our bill. Threatens me that he knows every local RV repair person & he will make sure no one will work for us again. They do know who he is & told us to call the police & report him. We had the "work" checked. He got paid a $1000. You don't get paid for work you DID NOT DO. We are considering possible fraud charges, he owes her her money back.

We put $1800 down. He kept it for 4 months. She called us on a Saturday and said we could pick it…read moreup that Sunday because it was ready. We had a prior engagement that day so we told them we would be there Monday afternoon when my husband got off of work. We get to the shop where we left it and the camper was not there (he never informed us he moved it). I caller her and asked where it was and she informed me it was at their house. I asked her the address and she said she would call me back she needed to call him. After a little while she calls back and said it's going to be another 2 hours because he's still working on it. Not really understanding why they called and said it was ready, but ok.so we wait... She finally gives me the address so we head there after the 2 hour wait. I will attach the photos so you can see all the damage that was done and extra damage. They messed up the gooseneck attachment in the front, drilled out our storage locks (not sure why they were wanting to go in our storages), every propane bottle was empty, staples and/or nails coming from the inside of the camper that you can feel on the side of the wall, didn't do the work we were needing done, put holes in the back of the camper (you should see the caulking job and damaged a ton of extra things. I will add pictures so you all will see what we were left with. Then wanted more money for me to leave with this disaster. Now I had to take it for a new estimate to repair what was done to our camper...... Wait for it..... $22,000.... Yes that's right.... $22,000. After contacting several officials in St. James Parish we learned there are numerous people contacting them wanting to see what they can do about the work they did on their rv's. I am not one to leave bad reviews even when something is bad!!! But in this case this is not a little mistake. This is an excessive amount of money it will take to fix the damages. After the fact people are telling us they wish they would have known that's where we were going because they would've have told us not to! Well, here we are and there's no way I can afford the repairs my camper is facing.. The original quote from him was $4200.... now its going to cost me $22,000 BIG DIFFENCE I just don't understand how people can do something like this!! Leaving this review so no one else has this happen to them.

This is a scam, all Kurt does is get a deposit from you and then it takes him months to get back…read morewith you. Then when he Messes up on the job He wants to put the blame on the lady that works for him..
