She came back inside and told us they were about to close. i said your hours are until 6pm. Then she said yes, but she doesnt know what time the gates close. We were leaving and decided to stop by other building. Guy there said if you've never been here before, you need at least an hour to look at RVs to figure out what you want. I said I know exactly what i want. Bought a new 2025 Entrada Motorhome in April of this year. Within 2 weeks there were severe issues. Both side walls came unattached from the floors.Rear bumper was almost dragging the ground and panel would not read correctly for the tanks. Went in and was basically called stupid by a manager that the walls doing that was not a problem. Refused to pay another $900.00 prep fee when we traded it in. Then we got a 25 SunSeeker Motorhome. First trip, leaf springs and Generator went out. Second trip, ac, house water pump and brakes. Lied to about getting a new generator before our second trip. Got tired of the issues again and went to trade it in. Got low balled after we put $4k in by parts in the SunSeeker. They offered us $60k. We paid $85k for it. Will not be going back to BerryLand Campers. We purchased 3 times from them. First time was excellent. Next 2, Garbage. Great American RV has a new customer. Got a very good trade in, even with all the issues. $70k. read more

From sales to service and beyond, they take the time to go out of their way to make your experience with them a pleasant one. I had a couple of warranty issues that needed attention on my 2025 Alpha Wolf travel trailer and the service manager made sure that my camper was not in their possession unnecessarily while parts with long lead time were on order to be delivered. Tina and Dixie are the two ladies I dealt with and they both made sure I was happy with the work and time frame done by their department. My wife and I decided it was time to upgrade and after contacting and corresponding with a salesperson she took all of my info even having me fill out forms and return them. We purchased a used Grand Design camper from Berryland back in July, 2022 that was a good deal. During the process of purchasing it, Berryland Advised me I could purchase a three year warranty that consisted of full road side assistance and full camper warranty. The finance employee advised me again the warranty covers anything on the camper "if anything breaks or gets damaged, call us and it will be replaced under warranty". I thought man that's a good deal so I purchased it. A few days later I arrived to pick up the camper and did the walk around inspection. during the inspection, myself and the technician discovered the table frame mount that connects to the sofa was missing. The technician advised me he will talk to the manger in regards to the mount. A little while later the manger walk outside and apologized to me stating the mount was broken, so they threw it away and a new one was ordered on their dime. The manager stated when the mount comes in they would call me to pick it up. I get the camper home and a few days later. I then discovered a little tear in the rubber roof on the slide out that you could only see if you accessed the roof or climbed on the ladder. I figured Berryland would have seen it if they did a better inspection, but if you don't see it, nothing is wrong with it. I called Berryland and advised them of the hole in the roof, at which time the service department tells me the roof was not under warranty and they could not look at the damage for a few months. I then began to argue with the employee until the point I got fed up and I fixed it myself. Six months go by and I call them in the morning time to see what was the status on the table mount. The employee gets my name information and advises me that someone will call me shortly to let me know something. The next day after not receiving a call, I call them again. A female employee gets on the phone with a rude tone and tells me they are not a Grand Design dealer and I have to go somewhere else to purchase the mount. I then ask to speak to a manger, at which time i was placed on hold for fifteen minutes. After waiting, the rude female employee gets on the phone and tells me the manger will call me. A hour goes by and manger calls and tells that the mount was ordered and it was lost in the back and that's why no one called. I then ask about the warranty, where the manger tells me the warranty i have only covers mechanical parts and I was told wrong. My wife went to pick up the table mount and called before she came like they told us. they told her to call so they can have it waiting and ready for her to pick up. When she called a woman answered and was extremely rude to her saying the didn't know anything about a part. When my wife advised she spoke to a manager the lady told her she would have to call her back so she can figure out which manager she spoke to. My wife refused to hang up because she knew the part was there. She was then placed on a 20 minute hold and was transferred. It took almost 30 minutes basically the entire drive for them to answer and say they had it. The next day I call them and told them I wish to cancel the rip-off warranty. The finance department advises me they can cancel the warranty with no problem. The employee goes on to ask me if I could email her my copy of the signed warranty and vin number of the camper because they did not have anything on record. Berryland has been charging me every month for a warranty but didn't even have any paper work of the warranty or even have the vin number of the camper on record. What a joke!!!! We came in from out of state and when we went to pick it up most of the listed optional equipment wasn't there. In good faith and a handshake we left with the RV early April, today is mid September and still waiting for some of the items. Jock the sales person pretty much has ghosted us the last few times we reached out to see when we can expect items. They tried to substitute $350 item with a $70 item. -purchased a 3 year old travel trailer from this location and then added the washer and dryer to the unit. I have keep the unit under cover and stored for the first six months. Then I moved it to my land in Arkansas where I keep it under cover. I used the unit since June of 2023 for two to three weeks pre month. So far I have had a pex water line burst, a leaking water pump and a slide that failed and a washer that constantly has had problems with an error code E4 and E10 but sometimes these codes don't show and the unit works well. All these problems after Berryland assured me that the unit was given a excellent bill of health. I wounder what a unit would be like that only receives a marginal bill of health. I would suggest you find a better dealer then these people!!! read more

On March 11, 2018, my son and I attended the Berryland Campers Open House. We definitely see a travel trailer in our future; however, we are still a few years out. Regardless, we love attending RV / travel trailer shows and open houses, as it gives us a chance to stay on top of the latest offerings. As per Berryland's website "they are the largest Cardinal, Flagstaff, Cherokee, and Puma dealer in the entire United States of America! They have over 600 units in stock on over 30 acres of prime real estate next to Interstate 12 in Louisiana. Their state-of-the-art RV complex features a spacious RV parts store, 24 RV service bays and 11 skilled and highly trained technicians. The doors are open on all our RVs, and that allows you and your family a no-pressure, hassle-free RV shopping experience. Each RV must pass a rigorous, 4-hour pre-delivery inspection (PDI) before it is driven off the lot. After the PDI a technician will spend from 45 minutes to an hour teaching you how to use your new RV. You and your family will be able to go RVing immediately!" With that being said, Berryland was quite a nice facility. The office was neat, clean and organized. Although the area had several inches of rain over the weekend of the open house, the gravel / limestone roads throughout the property were all graded and there was little to no standing water (puddles). As this was an open house, there was absolutely no sales pressure. This made for a great time, as there were numerous models open to walk through. If you were interested in doing some real shopping, there were several sales persons on-site that were happy to take customers on a golf-cart ride throughout the lot to look at RVs or travel trailers. When it's finally time for us to make a purchase, we will definitely give them a chance to earn our business. read more

Just a note for all your information, Don't ever deal with Berryland Campers. I purchased a used (2021) rv from them moved it one time. Went to park it and the sink fell out, the slide motor went out and door would not lock. I took it back to them, after long discussions, the had it for 3 weeks, I go to pick up and the slide still does not work. They work on it and get it to go in and out. Again after some discussions, I pull out get a 1/4 mile down the road and the entire undercarriage falls OUT!!!!!! Bryan Mullins is a complete and total JackA$$! Even though we purchased a used (8 yr old) unit they treated us like we had just purchased the biggest most expensive rig on the lot. They didn't have to. I didn't expect it on an "as is" unit but they replaced small things that were broken, resealed everything, washed it, topped of the propane and even filled the gas tank! Wow!!! Today is August 17, 2022, I took my Canyon Star to Berryland Campers on April 15, 2022 to have the seats reupholstered. Newmar furnished the new leather seat covers for the captains chairs, and couch, they also supplied two new recliners, and two new kitchen chairs. Berryland LOST the couch, punched a hole in one recliner, the second recliner is jammed and will not recline, and the passenger chair's foot rest will not operate. I called to speak to the service manger, he never returned my calls, nor did the owner. I did reach out to Newmar Customer Service and they did have have a three way conversation with myself and the service manger, Berryland promised to replace/repair the furniture ASAP, to date they have done nothing. Went there twice looking to purchase a travel trailer and both times no one even approached us.

They'll tell you anything they think will get you to buy a camper even if not true. In our case, issues that did not work reliable (like the HDMI cables) were claimed to NOT be installed in our camper and covered under warranty. (They worked - just not all of the time!) The top vent cover over the AC fan was so brittle that it busted into fragments when I touched it 3 weeks after I bought the new camper. I had to argue to get a replacement, and I ended up having to replace it myself. Simple warranty repairs are taking WAY longer than they should (almost 2 weeks and they still have it) for things that should have been working before they sold it! Damages to walls were supposed to be covered with new strips, but never done. Echo...echo...echo.... Stickers on wall can't be removed without ripping off wallpaper, but that's also my problem, I guess. My advice is simple: BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

Out of state buyer please read before buying elsewhere. My family and are from Los Angeles ca and we're in search of a motor home. With super high prices and slim inventory we searched the country via the internet for the right motorhome for us. We found several dealers and specifically a dealer in Alvarado Texas with great prices. We also heard horror stories of hidden costs in the tens of thousands of dollars that the dealers stick you with once you've flown in and you are at there mercy . I called Dan Caldwell off berry land RV and we settled on a price. I expressed my concern with Dan and he said there would be no hidden fees and to trust him on his word. I flew in and were welcomed at berry land RV. Not only was Dan true to his word, Chantel in financing was fantastic. Christopher was equally as informative during the walkthrough. I bought an RV from Berryland recently and was happy with the RV we chose. The salesman was very helpful and got us a fair deal. This part of the dealership was very good. However once you are seated in front of the finance manager you are hit with several extras such as ECO Coating "which I still can't get anyone to explain to me what this actually is"!,extended warranty and tire warranty. Of course I chose all three since I was eager to keep the vehicle in excellent shape. (However the warranty has nothing to do with the vehicle engine, drivetrain etc that belongs to Mercedes, Ford, Dodge etc and is separate.) After many delays and exhausting phone calls to Berryland I finally got the ECO job done and it looks like nothing more than a wax job since I still have no idea what I paid for but that is on me for not finding out what the coating does.On the way home for some unknown reason my electric awning opened up on the interstate. Needless to say I was in a tough spot and called the dealership only to be told after buying the warranty that they could not help and I needed to get the vehicle to them on my own and also that their insurance prohibits them from coming out. I also was greeted by a curt lady in the service department that told me they would discuss it and get back to me as I sat on the noisy interstate with an extended awning and no tools. Finally I heard back from someone who told me to call another repair facility near them and they could help me. This was not what you want to hear after buying a six figure vehicle and feeling like your on your own. Needless to say I contacted this other company that came out immediately and removed the awning and took it to be repaired and has already set up a date for me to come back and have it reinstalled. I also found out something that I was not told at Berryland that the warranty is accepted at other dealers and repair facilities. Before you buy an RV new or used it would be wise to look at everything they have to offer specifically the service department and their history of responsiveness. These vehicles are too expensive to have poor treatment beyond the sale. It takes a lot more than a nice facility to gain a great reputation. Berryland in Ponchatoula My buying process from the start: I visited multiple rv dealers where I browsed around, ultimately deciding on a 2021 Forest River wolfpup 17JG from Berryland in Ponchatoula. The following week I contacted my salesman by phone, informing him I wished to proceed with the buying process, at this point I was given a out the door price and informed I would receive a $500 gift card to be used at the Berryland parts department upon the purchase of a 2021 travel trailer. I then acquired my own financing, re contacted my salesman and gave him the green light to put my name on the rig, setting my appointment up for the following saturday to pick up the rv. I then placed my financial institution and my salesman in contact with each other so that they could exchange all necessary information. Later that afternoon I asked my salesman if anything further was need on my behalf or the banks behalf, to which he replied "nope, see you Saturday!" Saturday morning comes around and I make the 1 hour drive to Berryland. Upon arrival I locate my salesman at my designated appointment time and inform him im here to pick up my rv. He replies with "Who's your salesman"....... You are..... He had completely forgotten who I was and my appointment. No big deal, I bring him up to speed and he remembers. I'm told to sit in the lobby area and a financial employee would be with me to go over everything. Minutes later im approached by the gentleman in finance who informed me they did not have any information or any payment info from the bank whatsoever. (Now this I put error on the banks behalf and the salesman whom I placed in contact with the bank) Note: I had asked the salesman the Monday prior to confirm nothing further was needed on my part prior to my arrival. After a long headache with the bank (unable to make contact with them for an extended period of time) im finally able to provide the financial department with the information that they need. When it comes time to sign papers im informed that I would only receive a $250 gift card for the parts department rather than the $500 I was garunteed by my salesman (this isn't something that I can be upset about as its a kind gesture extended by the dealer and I am appreciative of any gratitude whatsoever) I just dont appreciative being told one thing and reciecing something different. During the walk through we note the refrigerator isn't cold (this is to be expected as the unit was probably only plugged in for a short time before my arrival and it takes time for a fridge to reach temperature) 12v furrion refrigerator. After the walk through I'm met by the hitch technician (I purchased a e2 weight distribution hitch as well as a brake controller from Berryland whom did the install). After the demonstration the technician informs me he needs to bring the truck and trailer back to the shop to make an adjustment and that he would park the rig in the lot when finished. Upon completion I am returned my rig and make my way home. Once home and attempting to disconnect the anti sway bars from the hitch I realize the technician did not return the pry bar used for the install and takedown of the sway bars. I contacted my salesman and informed him of this to which he replied that he would mail one out first thing Monday morning. I then plug my rig into proper shore power. In the following days I notice that my refrigerator has not cooled down whatsoever even on the maximum setting. I contact Berryland and am informed that the shop is busy and my rv can't even be seen until July 27th. (This is not a issue of the refrigerator worked and then failed, it just flat out never worked) The week passes by, and I do not receive my hitch pry bar (was never mailed out as my salesman stated he would). The following weekend I then drive an hour back to Berryland where I have to retrieve my pry bar myself. As much as I wanted this to be a smooth transaction, I was highly disappointed with the process from start to end. I do have faith in the dealership as I have seen multiple positive reviews, maybe I just caught them on a off week (still pending my July 27th appointment to have my refrigerator repaired) I do believe this should have been checked by the dealer prior to me being able to pick up my unit, no one wants to buy something only to find it to be broken and have to bring it back to the shop and have it repaired. (You purchase something "New" to have it in working order, not something "broken" to have it be repaired) On the positive side I have to give major appreciation to the parts department (Lonnie, I believe). I purchased multiple accessories and parts from them and they were more than helpful and kind during the entire process. **update** travel trailer was dropped off to Berryland on 7/27 first thing that morning as per my APPOINTMENT (took vacation off work to do so) concated Berryland today on 08/03/2020 and they have yet to even LOOK at the camper. read more
