I was completely spoiled by the amazing service I received here!!…read more I originally called due to some issues with my generator. Late at night my generator wouldn't start and I was unable to charge my house batteries. In the morning, I started calling looking for assistance. RV Solutions was the only place to answer. I was told that they would be able to send Bryce to come look at it. Bryce arrived and was very professional and knowledgeable. He did everything he could to get the generator running but it was throwing some type of code. He assisted to getting my class C plugged into an external plug for the house (which I hadn't done before) and told me to call back to the shop to schedule a day to remove the generator so they could fix and then re-install it. Before leaving he even killed a giant wasp after I screamed and backward ran across the driveway into him. When I called to schedule the appointment, they completely worked to accommodate my schedule. The day of, my engine wouldn't start. I tried to jump start it but was not successful. I called the shop to tell them I would be late and ask for any suggestions on what to do. I got to talk to Bryce and he told me what kind of jump box I needed and what size jumper cables I needed. Once I picked them up, I was able to start the engine and head to the shop. I work overnights and was at the shop during my typical naptime. They were very accommodating to allow me to sleep in my rig while the generator was removed. They even took a look at my battery with the issues I had that morning. I'm not sure how long the removal took but when I arrived I told Teia what time I would sleep until and it was done by the time I woke up. When I returned for my scheduled appointment to reinstalled my generator, we discovered roof damage. When I was being directed to drive in reverse (where I was staying in Covington not at RV Solutions), a basketball hoop scrapped my roof. From the side, it looked like minor damage but once Caleb was up on my roof, it was obvious that this was a big deal. With rain predicted that weekend and me being a full-time turtle, RV Solutions knew it would cause more damage for me to be out in the open, so they allowed me to mooch dock where my roof would be covered and I was hooked up so that I could enjoy air conditioning in the humid Louisiana air. Getting approval from my insurance took longer than expected but I NEVER felt like I was unwelcomed here. Everyday, they were happy to give me rides to the gym and insisted on picking me up. It didn't matter if I wanted to get ice cream after a workout or needed to go to Office Depot to print, they were happy to help me. Late one night while I was there, I heard a noise. I text Teia and within less than 10mins, Bryce was there to walk the lot, ensuring all doors were locked and that I was safe. Once we had the approval from insurance and I had a proposed date that I needed to leave, they rush to get my roof completed so I could get to KY on time. Teia even followed me on Waze to ensure I arrived safely. I have never heard of a service place providing NEARLY the level of customer service that RV Solutions did for me and they have definitely set a high standard for any place I visit in the future.

First off that's not their address they're off of Church Street on the other side of town, although…read morethey did functionally repair what they said they would when I went to pick up the unit it wasn't ready for pick up. After close to a $4000 charge on other fixes, they have done The battery had exploded. They replaced it with another battery and charge me An additional $75 for labor on the battery when I was standing there all the time the unit had should have beenchecked prior to pick up , And someone should have noticed that something was wrong with the system before I picked up this unit ! and sent me on my way. Luckily it was a back up battery because they wired it backwards and it almost exploded after the first one exploded! When I got it home and plugged it in all monitors were down and not working when I called a friend of mine as a technician, he said it sounds like a ground issue which made me look and that's what I noticed the battery was incorrectly wired!! You gotta be careful they tend to only do what they have to do and they seem to be a little bit belligerent and even hostile,, If you have to use them really check everything they're capable of doing good work, but they also have moments of lackadaisical unconsciousness, and they tend to be overly pricy , after $4000, and the fact that it should've been ready for pick up it would've been a good thing to do the battery at cost labor for free and have a correctly wiring and I would not be at today disputing the charge and writing a bad review!! I hope somebody could see this and not make the same mistake that I have. If you use them check check and check again.

The only "catch" was that the drawing was to take place on Saturday March 10th at the Dixie RV Superstore in Hammond, Louisiana and that the winner needed to be present to win. Fast forward to Saturday March 10th and we were on the road to Hammond to watch the trailer giveaway. There were approximately 150-200 people on-site for the drawing so winning was a conceivable possibility. The first 3 names called were no-shows (sucks to be them), but low and behold the 4th name called was NOT me. Oh well, it was time to look around. As per Dixie's website, "Dixie RV SuperStores is a proud member of the Priority RV Network, a REDEX organization. Customers who purchase an RV through Dixie RV instantly become an exclusive member of the Priority RV Network. Our customers gain the advantage of priority service at over 100 dealerships all part of the Priority RV Service Program. Being a part of the Network not only gives you the service support system, but also gives you 24/7 Road Care technical support and assistance, offers insurance and extended care, discounts to Priority parts stores and membership into Priority RV Network's Camping Club." Dixie RV Superstore is family owned and operates 4 stores in the Gulf South. Upon walking through the front door, I was impressed with the customer reception area and cannot imagine another RV dealer having a nicer venue (more to follow). As today was an "open house", there were dozens of sales personnel, but they were there to assist only upon being approached. Therefore, if you were there just to browse, like we were, you could do so with no pressure at all from anyone. Furthermore, there were hundreds of RVs and travel trailers that were unlocked and open to the public. For those that were on-site to buy, there was a large indoor sales floor with many models to choose from. Furthermore, there is golf cart transportation offered to see the humongous selection on the outdoor lot. If and when you do make a purchase, a delivery coordinator conducts a full walk through with you upon delivery. Furthermore, you can stay overnight at one of many private site hook-ups for additional familiarization. A travel trailer is definitely in our future; however, we are a few years out from making our purchase. In the meantime, we will continue to attend the local RV open houses and RV shows. Based on my first trip to Dixie, they will definitely get a return visit.

Bottom line - none of the other employees made any effort to check me out at the other open register until after the previous customers had left the store then they asked me to switch registers and began the long painful apologetic song of how sorry they were to make me wait so long - I told them if it wasn't for the fact that I absolutely had to have the part I was purchasing I would have walked out - based on that alone she gave me a free twenty five cent camping world cloth bag and then assumed that everything was better but of course it wasn't although the bag is pretty cool and by the way I did save ten percent by using my Good Sam Membership Card...
