I dropped off some items to be repaired and gave them two weeks. they were still not ready when i finally got them back they used white thread instead of blue thread to match the jeans. Also be very weary of there pricing. its always way more with credit card then what they quoted you and they don't tell you that. They need to get more automated and more transparent. read more

This is the second time I have taken my clothes into the cleaners for alterations, where the price they gave me at drop off was different from the price when picking up the outfit. When dropping my maxi dress off last week, the person at the front counter told me it would cost $15.00, when picking it up, it cost me $45.00 for a simple hem. The seamstress raised her voice and began to yell when questioning the price difference. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had. Not only did they not honor the price they quoted, the hem is very uneven. I will never go back to this shop again. Very Disappointed. read more

More importantly, he is extremely meticulous when it comes to little details; I once dropped in and saw him scrubbing away at an obscure, easily overlooked stain with a toothbrush! Over the past 7 or 8 years, I've taken the dirtiest articles of clothing to Jimmy, including heavily stained pants, neckties, suits, and Hugo Boss coats. Each time, the items are returned looking brand-spanking-new! My cousin recently brought in his drapes to be cleaned. He too was impressed with Jimmy's work. Being as vertically challenged as I am it's important that I get my pants hemmed. So when I come home with a new pair I bring them to Jimmy at Kent Cleaners. I ask that he match the same stitch and color of the thread on the seams. When I pick them up the first thing I notice is that the hem is straight, matches the thread color, and it looks professional, as though they were made this way from the factory. I also bring my sheets from my massage practice to Jimmy for wash & fold with a 24-hour turn around. I love that I don't have to wash & fold them myself because it's quite time consuming. I like feeling the warmth from them as I stack them on the shelf. So let's see, sheets done twice a week, clothes tailored to fit, and environmentally conscious dry cleaning (sent out, of course, just as many cleaners in the Bay Area do) all done in a a small town with a small town price? I really wanted to give a better review. I needed a last minute alteration for a cruise and he could fit me in. Jimmy was a very nice guy and he measured my sleeves. Got back the sleeves were shorter than we had planned. He put the blame on me, saying I approved the length, but then they were pinned, the length was great. Surely he does a great job for most. We usually go to Westborough Cleaners that's about a 15 min drive but wanted to try this cleaners for the first time because it was down the street from our house.... I would NOT recommend it to anyone nor would I go back!!! I needed to get 2 pockets repaired on my rain jacket, they said it was going to take over a week because they're too busy - yet I still decided to use their business because it was close and convenient and didn't need it for another week to take on our vacation trip. They said they'd charge me $10 for the repair. They scheduled for pickup over a week later to get picked up on a Friday after 3:00. Come Friday, we were to busy to pick it up - so we went to get it the next day Saturday. We come in knowing it should be done since we're a day late... they couldn't find it! So after a long search, they realized they didn't even work on it! They told us to come back in half an hour. We were leaving for our trip that afternoon and decided to just leave it til we come back. Another week later, (3 weeks after the drop off) we go to pick it up and again - couldn't find it! After going thru their entire conveyor, they finally spot it tucked away somewhere, balled up and wrinkled. They hand it to me just like that, not on a hanger or plastic bag. I inspect their work and they said it'd be $20! I told them that it's a week late because it wasn't ready when they originally scheduled and they initially said it was $10! So they said ok to the $10 but made it seem as if it was a "discount" because it wasn't done on time! So disappointed with this business. read more

Jimmy has been my dry cleaner since I went to high school in the area some 10+ years ago. I've taken everything from sweaters and suits to leather jackets and baseball caps to Kent Cleaners and every time it has come back looking new. I have also taken pants and shirts to be tailored and repaired and the quality of the alterations are superb. There is no dry cleaning plant on site, so there is a day or two turnaround, but if I don't need same day service, Kent's is my favorite place to take my laundry. read more

I was a customer of this dry cleaner for several months. I can honestly say, I was never absolutely thrilled with the service they provided, but they are located very close to me and it was always just good enough to keep me coming back. Until the one time when it was not. I took a black and white color block dress into them to be cleaned. The care instructions on the dress indicate that it is dry clean only. I needed the dress for a trip that I was taking at the end of the week. I left the dress with them and when I returned to pick it up 5 days later on the agreed day (the ONLY day I could pick it up before my trip) they told me that they had not cleaned the dress. The reason they gave me is that they were worried that if they cleaned it, the black color would bleed into the white and they would ruin the dress. So they would not clean it unless I indemnified them from damage first. Mind you, they did NOT call me and tell me this so that I could a) indemnify them and get the dress cleaned or b) make other arrangements. They just didn't clean it without telling me. By the time I found out, I had no time left to get the dress cleaned before my trip. For the record, I took the dress to another cleaner when I returned. They did NOT ask for an indemnification and they did a great job cleaning the dress. So, Kent Cleaners gets a big fail in customer service for not informing me that they would not/could not clean my dress AND they get a big fail for being unable to clean my dress for fear that they would ruin it. What kind of a dry cleaner would ruin a dry cleanable dress by dry cleaning it?! Not Eureka Cleaners, who now gets my business. read more

New owner since June 2015! This is a great little business in our small town of Pacifica, and business has picked up ever since the business changed hands. I continually bring my laundry here because they do a great job of wash and fold. I have my pants professionally hemmed by them and also bring my dry-cleaning to them because they are a "green" cleaner. I used to bring my dry-cleaning to a large establishment in SF and all they did was lose my garments. Quality work and this place is still cheaper than anyone in the city. read more

Jimmy Li has been my tailor and dry cleaner since I arrived in Pacifica on 23 January, 2004. He consistently does excellent work on cleaning and alterations. Most precious to me was my US Navy flying jacket from 1971. The original jacket was lost in South Africa in 1999. I found a replacement jacket after a long and exhaustive search. I recovered all of the patches after doing a lot of research. Jimmy worked a week on it. The final product was just as f=good as the original. I was touched. He is an honest and a fair man. read more

I brought in a Wool jacket to have cleaned and two buttons tightened. The jacket came out with little white pills on the edge of the jacket that weren't there when I brought it in. The stitching on the buttons was far from what I expected from a professional, aside from charging $4 per button the stitching and knots were not tidy, I could have done a better job myself. many years ago, i went here to get a strap on my hiking pack sewn back into place. the guy quoted me $6. when i came to pick it up, he asked for $16. i pointed out what he quoted me and he wouldn't budge. my bag was being held hostage so i paid him. i can walk there from my house but i swore i'd never go back. yelp wasn't around then to rely on but i'm both sad and interested to see that they are still just as bad. shame. read more

I brought a leather coat and a suede coat to be cleaned, $60 each coat, took two weeks, but well worth it they look like new.

I needed some bedding pressed with a 24 hour turnaround. Yong was able to get the job done and they were pressed beautifully! I will definitely come back here again. read more

Warning: DO NOT BRING LEATHER COATS HERE. I had leather jacket cleaned here -- it was a tan color. When it came back from the cleaners, it was discolored all over. For example, there are some buckle details which are a darker color than the rest of the jacket. They took longer than they originally estimated to clean it, and there was some uncertainty about when it would be available for pick up. I'm unsure to whom they outsourced the leather cleaning to, however, I believe there must have been some sort of mishap which is why the pick up time was delayed. This place might be okay for standard dress shirts but I wouldn't recommend them for any finer articles of clothing. read more

Freindly service, but quality really lacks. I brought a suit (less than 2 weeks old and dress shirt) under $20. Price is ok. But clothes are covered in lint and hair. When I asked why he claimed it is the clothes.He took a lint brush to the shirt but said nothing could be done for the suit. I will use a different dry cleaner in the future! read more
