I try to support local Pacifica businesses and choose to go here after living in the area for a while. I don't recommend this business at all. Took a week to clean, cost $9 to clean this shirt and came back dirtier than when I brought it in. Dust and dog hair all over it, he tried claiming it was because of the other stuff I brought in. I DONT HAVE PETS. Go inside and look at the conveyor machine it's literally caked in dust. Very disappointing. He admitted it had lots of lint but refused to refund me. One of my other items had glitter and dog hair on it as well. Extremely disappointing compared to other experiences I've had dry cleaning. read more

Because our local Linda Mar Cleaners has closed, we had to start using Eureka Cleaners. I brought my brand new pants in for alterations. I had never worn them except to try them on. The tag was still on them. I have a white husky dog at home and yes, there was some dog hair on the pants. The pants are made of wool, acrylic, and polyamide so hair sticks on them easily. I've attached pictures of my pants that I took when I got home. I did not lint roller them at all. I would say there are fewer than 20 hairs all over the pants. The heavy-set, tall, gray-haired man was so disgusted that I didn't have the decency to lint roller the pants before I brought them into his cleaners. I had offered to roll them while I was standing there but he was being so extremely rude to me and doubling down on all his comments, that I grabbed my pants and left. All of the reviews (the good ones) are on point. I was looking for a new cleaners, went to my trusty, handy, dandy yelp and this placed popped up. So off I went. I brought in a Down's comforter, an employee comes to the counter, greets me and says "one comforter." I told him this was my first time, and I will not be in the system. It was explained that this place is old school, no fancy registers, just good old-fashioned "writing contact info on paper." There was something oddly nostalgic about that. Then I was given the price. Wait for it........THIRTY SIX DOLLARS!!!! I think I fainted because the last cleaners I took it to, charged $75!!!! The employee's name is June & I'd say go for the low cost, but if you want to be greeted like the world is not a mess, check out this place. I have found my new cleaners! read more

My wife and I have been using Eureka Cleaners for over 20 years. I wear dress shirts, slacks and ties everyday. I've invested in some quality clothes and I'm a messy guy. These guys can usually "repair" my messes. I've always been happy with the service, timeliness and quality of my clothes afterwards. They have a tailor on-site for repairs, hemming, etc. Joon and Joel and very pleasant and hard-working. Something important to me is their dry cleaning system. If any chemicals are needed, they always use the non-toxic ones. Some cleaners use chemicals that are considered toxic. They have won "Best Dry Cleaners" in Pacifica many times. I had high hopes for this place as I have been having trouble finding a reliable place for alterations. I brought a shirt in to shorten the sleeves. The seamstress measured and marked it. When I got the shirt home, the sleeve was two inches shorter than what was measured. I am giving up and going to a high end tailor from now on. read more

Five stars for organic dry cleaning in Pacifica! No toxic chemicals used here. I never would've even thought to seek out an "organic" dry cleaner... Still old school, with the handwritten, carbon copied receipts, but they've got small-town, personable service here. Super-friendly owner and they do alterations. *To be honest, I wouldn't even have found this place if I didn't have dance classes at the neighboring studio. But like many of the new businesses I now support in Eureka Square (Pacifica), right off Hwy. 1, I'm committed to it now that I've been introduced to it (ex; Food Town, Tamales-Unicos de Cuernavaca, Cafe d'Capo, Clay Creations, and a new mani-pedi salon!). This is one of the little gems of Eureka Square and perhaps the city of Pacifica, in an outdoor strip mall filled with vacant storefronts for rent and constantly changing businesses that seemingly only survive for a year or so. Polite and courteous service always, reasonable pricing, fast and accurate turnaround times, easy access, almost always rock-star parking spaces available and yes, it's a certified "green" business for what it's worth. All the work is done on the premises. A very solid 4.5 stars, and I encourage you to support this wonderful small business by trying them out if you live anywhere in the area. The Challenge: Suddenly I was going to Times Square to watch the ball drop at a corporate event. (Not kidding). I had one day to get a shirt, pants, and coat cleaned and pressed so I could look good. My gear was still in need of this after a Vegas trip. I'm also new to the Pacifica area and didn't know where to go for same day service. So I did some Yelp work and found Eureka Cleaners! They were able to take in my clothes, get the work done, and have it ready for me with plenty of time to spare. The employees were friendly on the phone and in person, and the work was exactly what I needed. I packed it, flew to NYC, and looked right at the event. Everyone was happy, including me. Price was great and I really did like that it's organic! I will definitely use them again, and my only wish is that they did bag laundry service as well. I used alternation at Eureka cleaners three times now. First time, I thought that the price for a dress alteration (shortening it) was too high. We were told that the alteration was complex. I have since had a zipper replaced in a pair of jeans and shortened another pair. Prices are so reasonable and quality is wonderful! So they were right first alteration must have just been complex. People are super friendly and fun. If you have to try cloth on to have them altered call in advance, there are a couple of days a week when the lady that does alterations is not there. read more

I don't know how some people sleep at night when they act horribly towards others?!!! I am posting this review for my 75 yo mother. She would not know how to post a Yelp review, so I'm doing it for her. I just got off the phone with her. I'll try to shorten this up; and if I could give zero stars I would! My mother dropped a number of items off here. Around 15 items, 2 tickets. She went to pick them up. The big man who was working there came back to her and handed her 3 items. My mom asked about the rest, of course, anyone would, who was missing things. This man proceeded to call my mother a liar!! My mom, in shock, then explains the number of items; he continues to say she's making it up; and lying!!!!! WTF?? Then he YELLS at her!! Berating her!! Who acts like that towards an elderly woman?!! How in God's name does this guy lay his head down at night to sleep, knowing he would act in such a horrible way?? He's so loud towards her, that my step-father who is outside in the car comes in and tells him to stop yelling at his wife!!! My mother, still shocked again explains to him the number of items she had brought in. He said, no, you're lying! Your ticket is for 3 items. She tells him she gave him 2 tickets. He looks down and around, and he had dropped the slip ticket on the floor. He says, I'll go get your things. He brings them out. No effing apology?!!! Seriously?!!! I'm so mad that anyone would treat my mother in such a way!! Or anyone's mother for that matter!!! It's just not right!! Then she had to pay for her things, which of course the work was done, but pay to be called names and treated like crap?!! Unbelievable!!! "Grumpy Bad Man!! Your customers keep you in business! The people here are so friendly. I dropped my wedding dress off to have it cleaned after my wedding and they did a wonderful job. The dress was so dirty I had put flip flops on half way during my wedding so the dress was dragging all over the place, I walked on grass and on asphalt through a parking lot so when I brought it in it had looked like the dress was run over by a truck. When I go it back it was almost like new. I really did not think they were able to get any of the dirt out. The price was not lower than other places I had checked out, they ran kinda the same rate but the friendly staff and the great job they did was well worth it. read more

Fantastic cleaners! We started bringing out Ikea couch cover here after having taken it to Linda Mar Cleaners. Linda Mar was charging us upwards of $90 to clean it. Eureka only charges us about $60!! They have even called and asked to keep it longer so they can try to remove stubborn stains they have even repaired minor tears for free! We love this place! read more

Took a suit and a shirt to this place to get 'em ready for a job interview, was extremely disappointed. The jacket's lapel was not pressed properly, looks worse than it did when I took it there. They did a sloppy job on the shirt, too. I brought my $100 swimsuit here which was stained with possibly, tanning spray, and a combination of tanning lotion. It's pure white, and I the stains didn't show until the next day. I tried washing it off and put it in the washer and dryer and still didn't clean it up. Until I passed by this place! The Man that works there is amazing, I believe he is the owner and he is extremely nice!!! He was able to remove most of the stains at a reasonable price!!!
