Well, the good thing it's located in a place where you're able to get various things done while…read morelaundry is getting washed and I went there a couple times. The first time I was expecting it to have Internet because the Google search shows that this location has Wi-Fi available while you're doing your laundry which it Don't! The second time I went there, the machines that I chose to do the wash were broke down with no out of order signs on them apparently they don't have anything like that for the customers to post if they are inoperable. Third time I went there their servers were down and I couldn't get a connection on the kiosk card reader. After buying a $45 credit onto a card that is only usable at this place now it doesn't even work to buy it. It worked but then to use it on the machines it doesn't work. That is very unsatisfactory. Now having to go down to the bank, pulling the money back out expecting only pay $40. Did your laundry is now turning to be $80 with 40 sitting in my pocket that's unusable. I contacted the number and they still haven't contacted me. I find this a bit absurd. Unfortunately I have to actually give this a few stars and nothing more until they get there. Issues taken care of with the false advertisement that's on Google. And get their Internet service working correctly with a strong set up so they can actually have the machines working and operating correctly.

The dryer was only $1.25 though. You can pay the machines with card thankfully; however, the dispenser is quarters only. Maybe I got unlucky, but there was no proper or obvious and easy to use laundry detergent available (the dispenser seemed long sold out), so this place is definitely not traveler friendly. Luckily, a local guy helped me out. Another offered a free dryer spin too. I think someone else could use it though. Seems like a chill place for the locals. Accidentally used $3.25 but passed it forward

There are usually long lines for the 4-load and 6-load washers. They have about two dozen small-load machines, which seem to be used less often because of the cost. I think it would be a great idea to replace some of those with more larger-capacity machines since those are clearly the most popular. Overall, it's a great laundromat just try to avoid peak hours if you need the bigger machines.

The space is very tight, but it manages to fit just enough washers and dryers for the crowd. The prices are fair for the area, which is a plus. However, the place has its issues. Some people were sleeping on the benches inside, which made the environment feel less welcoming. The vending machines were broken, and I think the soap dispensers could use an upgrade with better products for the community. There is outdoor seating if you prefer to wait outside, but the wooden benches were starting to split and break, which isn't ideal. The standout feature here is the dryers--they work quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, getting to the washers felt like a bit of a struggle due to the cramped layout. Overall, South City Suds gets the job done, but the location could use a little more care and attention to really stand out among nearby competitors.
