I stopped by around 9am on a Saturday and had a great experience--no crowds, no waiting. Parking was easy with plenty of spots nearby, and the laundromat itself is spacious with lots of machines, including a good mix of large and small washers and dryers. Everything worked well and did a great job with washing and drying. I appreciated that they accept mobile payments, though you do need to download an app to use it. There were also plenty of tables and laundry carts available, which made the process smooth and hassle-free. The place was super clean and well-maintained. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the prices are on the higher side--$11 for a medium washer--but at least that price includes settings like extra wash and soil, so you're getting solid value. read more

I've been in both warm weather and chilly. This is an awesome establishment, when the weather is warm the doors are opened and you can enjoy the beautiful breeze. When it's cold it's still a please wait while you clean your close. Things to note, the cost of washing & drying runs up pretty quickly so I recommend being intentional with what you wash, I'd come with a large load and not something simple to get your moneys worth. I've come here for prob the last 8 years. Will commute to come here just because it's always been super clean management/workers are respectful and super helpful! But these dryers suck! First I wish I could add $2 as an option then process the payment on the newer app. 4minutes on the left 6 5min on the 4 right side per 25c so that sucks I have videos of these dryers starting and stopping about 45seconds throughout the entire drying time, session ends & your clothes are still wet! Add more money, still not dry. Transferred all the clothes (and these weren't big loads) into the 5min dryers and boom 10mins and they were done. It's a hassle to get a refund through the app. I have video of the machines doing this.. fix the dryers then you would have ppl rotating in and out faster.. stayin an extra 30-60min is annoying.. read more

Went here to use a washer/dryer to wash my comforter. The place was clean and had plenty of of open washers and dryers. The price varies depending on the size of the washer you use. The mid sized one I used was $11/load. They have onsite coin exchange, or you can use an app to pay with Apple Pay. The one thing with the app that I did not like is that there are fixed amounts of $ you are required to load into the app, so I ended up putting more money on the app then I needed for the laundry machine. Came here the last few times to wash my clothes. This place is by far one of the best places to wash clothes due to the cleanliness and amount of water used in the washing machines. Usually most laundromats I been to use an embarrassing amount of water and my clothes don't even get entirely wet. This place is not like that. Unfortunately when I came today the place looked a little dirty and some machines kind of smelled. I blame this entirely on the people that come here to use the machines as they don't take care of the nice machines. The poor owner who I've met is such a nice hardworking gentleman and I dont expect him to keep this place spotless. He needs help from the customers but a lot of people that come here are idiots and have no respect. I will still patronize this place because I know the owners try to maintain this place and I like the washing machines. Prices are average and I wouldn't say they are more or less than other places. Couple extra large machines for blankets and such. Bring cash 5,10,20 dollars bills and they have machines to exchange for coins. This place is located in down town San Bruno off of San Bruno Ave. It is very clean and has up to date machines. They open at 6 am and close at 10 pm. People are friendly and helpful! All machines have the option to pay by quarters or credit cards/apple pay! I was surprised by this in a good way! At least people have options to use whatever form of payment they choose! I came to this location due to the high ratings and the ability to pay with a credit card. The first machine I used was not working and then the next one was down too. So I lost soap in the machine and had to switch machines. No out of order signs were on the machine to alert me. Then I had to leave my stuff and find a bank to accept my card cause I didn't want to pay out of network atm fees. I would have gotten change ahead of time or went somewhere else had I known. The reviews raved about this place so I figured no coins to worry about and practically 5 stars. I let all this frustration go but then it was time to use the dryers. 8 large dryers and multiple small ones were not functional. I was washing down comforters. So I was lucky the other people let me have a big one. Unfortunately the reason was that the person before me had sharpie marker in their cycle and the ink was fresh in the machine along with a melted chocolate bar! I tried wiping it but It's all over my white comforters. Then the coins got stuck in the slot. I would swap but it is monthly wash day and families used all the other dryers. So to give a summary- staff is no where to be seen. They did not post signs on the machines out of order so I lost coins. The credit card network is not functioning at all. There is a ceiling tile missing and people are sitting on the folding tables. And there is not even a step stool available to help reach the back of the machine to clean it up thoroughly. It. Has. APPLE PAY (and Android paid, etc)!! My husband and I were excited that we didn't have to stop by the bank to get cash after coming here. They do however have a machine that gives $5 bills and quarters if you have a $20 on you. They of course have the usual dispenser that only takes quarters to buy detergent, dryer sheets, bags etc. Very clean laundromat, they have a parking lot in the back and street parking in the front. The only thing that is a bit of a bummer is that I couldn't take a cart to my car in the back to help carry my laundry; the carts have extra tall hangers that prevent the carts from going out of the facility. Makes sense though, they don't want to lose their carts if someone forgets or is lazy to go and put them back inside. ‍ (#FirstWorldProblems) We went on a Tuesday evening, so it was pretty quiet. As my family and I were staying in an Airbnb that did not offer a washing and drying machine, we had to find a laundromat. Summer's Laundry had great reviews on Google which drew me to do wash my clothes there. The review on Google included free Wi-Fi, but I was not able to use the free Wi-Fi. However, the laundromat did take contactless pay (tap to pay) options. The laundromat was very clean, and or clothes or washed and dried in a timely manner. So far this has been the best laundromat that I've seen and been to in the south San Francisco/ San Bruno area. Down San Mateo Ave. this is such a conveniently centralized laundromat because it's located just off the main strip of that area. So there's plenty of activities to enjoy while waiting for your clothes or if you're just looking for something to do on an off day. Here are some of the pluses that I enjoy about this place. This place is so cost-effective and reasonable that it really does help when you have to do laundry, whether that's big or small loads. The machines are very well taken care of, they come in small medium and large sizes for bigger loads. The machines are real durable and show no signs of wear and tear. That's a real credit to the management who seems to keep the machines up and running so they're functional for customers. This is a pretty large space so I can hold a good amount of people and because it's large you don't have to worry about running in or bumping into people. There's plenty a room for everybody to do their washing, folding or any other activities here. There's free Wi-Fi so that's definitely a plus if you have kids and want to use it to play videos or just use your phone without wasting your data. Parking is pretty reasonable here. Prices are good and machines work well but people DGAF about social distance lol. I walked in and there were at least 20 people in there. Some were loading/unloading clothes or folding but a lot of them were just standing around or playing with their young kidS (yes, plural). A lot of them also had their mask below their nose. Creepy men staring and gossipy women who seemed to be overly interested in my laundry (they were legit staring at me as I loaded/unloaded) but whatever. I've done my laundry all over San Bruno, and haven't gone anywhere else since Ray opened up Summer's laundry. This place is simply the best in town. This place is clean and new and the owner takes a lot of pride in this business and shows he really cares. I've seen him onsite a good 80-90% of the time I've done my laundry here and multiple times he's given out free cold drinks to every single person in the place. He is very helpful and you can tell he is an honest hard working guy. The washers that are 4$ can wash a ton of laundry so to the guy saying it's a ripoff doesn't understand the physics of washer capacity. Usually I can do my entire hamper in one machine either the $4.50 or the $3.75 and usually walk away from the experience down about $6.50 for a good 30-40 lbs of clothes washed and dried all in less than an hour. Best laundry mat experience I've ever had, and that's why I do all of my laundry here. Ray is the man. Free wifi is a nice perk to pass the time. read more

You insert a $20 bill, and it gives you 3 $5 bills (PAPER bills) and $5 worth of quarters. No more raging because you only needed a dollar in quarters and had to change a whole $20. I love it. Great laundromat in a great location. Down San Mateo Ave, it's an area with great food options. This laundromat is reasonably priced with plenty of washers and dryers. The owners must service the machines regularly because they appear to be in excellent shape and work effectively. The best part is the large bill breaking machine. Okay... And wifi... Lucked up w/ 2 hour parking in front not too crowded. The biggest machine cost $8 a little pricey but for what convenience it offers I say it's worth it. I went on a Friday. Super busy , every washer and dryer was being used . I grabbed the first washer that ended . There was an employee cleaning the place . Once my clothes were clean I had to find a wheelie basket . Those were all being used as well. Finally a dryer stopped . Asked around to see who it belonged to and nobody claimed it so I pulled out the dried clothes and started my load . Only to come back 25 min later to be hassled by the woman who's clothes I removed . Telling me not to touch her clothes . Excuse me ... sign posted unattended clothes will be removed .
