So good! Ordered pizza, garlic fingers and a ponzo For supper. It did take a while to get here but it was so worth it! They did tell us in advance that it would take a bit over an hour so we knew how long it would take. It is. Saturday. (And really it means they are busy which means the food must be good and they are getting orders. Happy for them after two years of Covid). Ordered pizza half and half to meet my families picky needs. it came as I ordered it! Perfectly cooked delicious crust - not thick and just right. Has a nice slight spiced sauce and fresh toppings. I was so hungry i forgot to take A pic. If there's any left when I check I will take a pic of it. A definite must try. It's been since pre Covid since I last ordered and now I'm not sure why I waited so long. Yummy!! read more

Kenny's Pizza - The pic doesn't due this justice. Half bacon pepperoni and beef and Half pepperoni, onion, green pepper. - Pizza Near Me - Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

This is exactly the kind of pizza I've been looking for around the city. The crust isn't too thick but still has a good flavour and texture to it. I've always wanted a thinner crust on my slice without it breaking or being too crispy. Great lunch deal $5 for a slice and pop (taxes in). Was so good went back for the ponzo - which is enough to feed two people I'd say. I ate it twice in a single day, once for lunch and once for supper! Will definitely be back! read more

I have had the pizza from a few times over the years. Every time I am less then satisfied the pizza dough is soggy and the sauce has no flavour read more

Be careful if you order delivery! I called ahead to confirm that they serviced our area (it's about a 12 minute drive) The person checked and confirmed that they did. Waited almost an hour for our food, before they called to tell me we are now too far outside of the area (they got busy) and that they won't be delivering our order. Super terrible to do this after waiting an hour for supper. Had we known, we could've ordered elsewhere. Now it'll be at least another hour from a closer pizza joint. Won't ever order from Kenny's again if this is how they treat their customers. read more

I got a veggie pizza. first of all, it had NO olives. What veggie pizza doesn't have olives on it? I like black and green olives so I added them both. They charged me FIVE DOLLARS to add both of them onto a 13 DOLLAR 9" PIZZA. WHAT ARE THEY?? GOLD??? thats an absolutely ludicrous amount of money to charge for an addition on a small pizza for just OLIVES. I would understand meat, but olives are dirt cheap why charge so much?? the Pizza was fine but it felt like I was eating a scam. Be careful adding things on your pizza, idiots decided the pricing for them apparently. read more

My favourite pizza in all of HRM always consistent and never lets me down. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Always a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Could not get any better. Keep up the great work. read more

My mom recently passed and we just finished the viewing at the funeral home. My close family wasn't doing so well, so we had to ensure that everyone was eating. The closest place on doing a quick turnaround was Kenny's Pizza. The drive-thru was only open and the owner was at the window. I let him know the situation and I wanted to make sure everyone was eating during this time. He said "Wait out front, it will be quick." At this point I was willing to pay ANYTHING to help family out during this time. He came out with two pizzas and I pulled out my wallet. He said "Don't worry about it." I was fairly insistent on paying and yet again, he said "We all go through hard times, so don't worry about it." I shed a few tears because it's so nice to see good people out there. I'll be back again for many lunches with friends and family here. Great place and amazing pizza. read more

Guess I have a slight bias, because I'm a Cape Bretoner living in Halifax (for 20 yrs). When in Sydney, Kenny's was my second favorite pizza growing up, and when I heard it was coming to HRM, I was thrilled. My waistline is glad that so far there is no franchise set up this side of the harbour, because I would probably go too often. Driving from Clayton Park to Cole Harbour can be a nightmare at rush hour on a weeknight, but if I have a craving for Kenny's, I will make the trek. The last few visits have been more on a weekend to just get a slice, if I am in Dartmouth for something anyway. But besides all that, I love their combination or deluxe, the type of crust is just right, the flavor and amount of sauce, lots of cheese, the strips of green pepper (instead of diced, which sounds anal, but to me, makes a big difference). I keep saying I will try other things on their menu (donair, pizza burger, etc) because I'm sure I will love those too, but I just tend to always go back to the pizza. Staff are pretty friendly here. When it first opened, the hype was insane, but now that it has fizzled off, it's not hard to get them to answer the phone to place an order, or if you just stop in, there's not a long wait. There are several tables with seating for maybe 30ish if you do want to sit in. read more

I can't really say if the pizza was good or not. I ordered a barbeque chicken pizza, but when I got it home I found it was about half chicken and half mushrooms, onions and peppers, which I didn't want to eat. I've eaten barbeque chicken pizza for years but never seen any like this. It may have been great, but it wasn't what I wanted. read more

Good pizza, in Cole Harbour. But doesn't deliver to all of Cole Harbour without charging extra for the delivery. I understand needing to limit free delivery but at lease delivery free to the community your in and serving. read more

the absolutely worst delivery of all time. when does it take over 2 hours to deliver a pizza 10 minutes away???? horrible service!

Foods alright. I'll admit I've never had the original in cape Breton but the capers I know say it isn't as good so I won't hold it against the brand more so than just this location. I'd give it more stars because its not a terrible spot but the first time I ordered there I had a bad experience with the old blonde on cash. I ordered a pizza from them for take out, she told me it'd be around 45 minutes which I said was fine because I know it's opening week. At 40 minutes she called me with attitude saying it's been ready and waiting. I said okay I'm on the way and that I thought it would take longer. They're almost 10 minutes away from my place so I planned it to be there right at the 50 minute mark just to give them an extra 5 incase it's really busy. When I go in she's on cash and starts going off about how it's been an hour. Well it hasn't but whatever I'm not going to argue with an old woman over pizza so I paid and left. Haven't ordered take out again but everyone once and awhile we stop in for a slice because it's easy and 5 bucks so that gives them an extra star. TLDR: Food is 3/5 Service from old blonde was 0/5 read more

I have tried there donair twice first time I didn't like it was very bland had no flavour to it not enough sauce provided . So like a fool I tried it again it was worse then the last one again no taste the meat looks like it was uniformly sliced not shaved as others do I believed it was packaged slices heated and served . I do not recommend this item therefore I most likely not purchase anything from this business again read more

Not even close to the better pizza's we've had. My advice...For starters, when making a thin crust pizza, bake crust to well done so it's a little crispy, not limp, soggy, doughy and falling apart. Distribute topping evenly, not all of one topping mostly on one side and the rest on the other. Don't put all the toppings mostly in the center so it doesn't all slide off when you try to pick it up. and don't be afraid to spread some sauce and cheese on the crust so half of the pizza doesn't get thrown out. Maybe add some additional topping options, slim pickings. Probably the most overpriced "MEH" pizza we've had. The 16" for $21 wasn't worth $5. read more
