I moved from Fort Worth and couldn't even find a place over there like this one. They are complimentary and nice but don't push for conversation if you don't want. They pay attention to detail and also listen to me when I ask for anything like changes or extras. The place is also clean and comfy. They also were very attentive to me, I came back 8 months pregnant this time and they accommodated to my comfortability and temp of the water on my feet and a extra pillow. Best spot I've ever stumbled upon!

I am just used to having nail salons wrap the station of where I am going to soak my toes and then the water goes on top. And they didn't, so I felt a bit uncomfortable in that sense due to hygienic reason but maybe I'm just very picky. Overall very nice place! I've come back to due my gel manicures a couple of times. Recommend the male manicurist! (Sorry can't remember his name but he's the only one) very nice people.

When I say down I did end up getting acrylic. Showed the inspiration picture. Once she began I asked for short. She gave push back due to the slight coffin shape I asked for. It took a lifetime to get the acrylic on. Then she got a nail polish to cover my nail, why? Idk. But I proceeded to identify the pink tone. Then the white began. Idk how many times I asked for a thinner French tip. End time I was there for over an hour and a half. The nails aren't bad. From a distance you couldn't tell but it looks sloppy. Oh and she rubbed alcohol on my left hand and took off all the clear coat (all gel) and that hand is chipping. Lastly when she was done she said "you're all done, do you need anything else" I didn't even bother with the pedicure. All of this so she pulls out the total of 72 dollars. This not worth 72 dollars. Not with the length, shape or artistry.

The problem with the Anna Nails is that their staff change frequently and the skill level varies. Some are good, some aren't. One bad thing the nail techs do is talk in Vietnamese constantly to each other. Like the "Seinfeld" episode with Elaine thinking the Korean nail techs were talking about her, that's what you think is going on at Anna Nail. You think they are making fun of you to each other, probably because they are. It's disconcerting and uncomfortable. The nail techs at Ana Nail on Kemp are okay, usually most of them don't do a horrible job whereas other nail salons, you're taking a chance going to them (like Nail Retreat, worst manicure I've ever had.) UPDATE: It's been bought by Kim's Nails and changed the name.

It still looked like a bowl cut in the front after saying three times I wanted a 50s style haircut. Not only that I paid $48 with a tip included for my son that's 12 years old. He literally came out crying and is now very insecure about his hair. When he got to my car there was hair all over his shirt (like a large amount) and his hair wasn't even styled at all. Mind you this was the second time she fixed it. I asked for a refund of half the cost and they denied to do that. The corrective haircut itself was not worth $48, nor was the experience. Of course on the Saturday before a holiday every place is packed so I didn't have an issue with the wait. She had a cancellation so she could fit me in. The first thing she did was complain about the lady before me. She was polite yet really aggressive with more expensive products and would not listen to what I wanted. She did not do a full manicure or pedicure because I got gel polish but I did not get acrylics. In my experience at other places, the mani/pedi is normal and then they charge extra for the type of polish which I don't mind. There was not a real massage and the environment is extremely dated. I would not recommend anyone try this place. Adding to my review, the gel is supposed to last 3 weeks, it's only been 3 days and both my nails and toes are chipped. I haven't done anything except shower and change clothes. That place is horrible and now I'm extremely angry I wasted my money going there.
