Dr. Thompson and his entire staff treats my family like family. They are kind, patient, humble and take their time to get to know you. Today I had my annual check up and cleaning. While the hygienist was with me, I could see Dr. Thompson standing nearby. He was just smiling and waiting to make sure I was ok. Who does that? His professionalism is top notch and he goes out of his way to ensure all of his patients are happy. I wish I would have started going to Dr. Thompson years ago. His office deserves 10 stars. This review has nothing to do with Dr. Kenneth Thompson but his reception. I broke two of my back molars and was in severe pain. Looking for any help I called his office to see if they had any openings for an emergency appointment. They didn't have any opening for about a month (which I understand) but when I asked if I could come in on any cancellations she (The Receptionist) told me no without any hesitation because I wasn't a guaranteed patient. Then she proceeded to tell me to find another dentist even though this was the dentist my insurance told me to call. I understand if they are all booked up and can't see me but I was so upset (And in immense pain) when she said so rudely "No you'll have to find another dentist! Go call around." So again, this has nothing to do with he dentist himself because I've heard nothing but praise about him but the receptionist I spoke with. read more

He's a very nice guy. However, his work is horrible. Received a filling from him that literally fell out as I was leaving the office. I had a horrible experience with his staff a year prior, but decided to go back and give him a shot. After the filling fell out I was done. I am western dental patient but i never want to go back to that place anymore, trust me, you don't want to know why. He gave me a discount for the first time i visit. Been coming to this practice for many years since I was in my early teens, maybe younger. Dr Thompson and his staff are professional and friendly. When I didn't have insurance anymore while I was in college and needed a cleaning done, Dr. Thompson understood my situation and gave me a discount since I was paying out of pocket. Prior to that cleaning I had gone to another dental office and had the worst experience ever. The other office claimed I needed a deep cleaning and it would cost few hundred dollars. I decided that I should go to someone I trust and have been going for years instead. Dr Thompson reviewed and mentioned that it was just a regular cleaning I needed done. Dr. Thompson and his staff are wonderful and caring! They are funny and welcoming and are extremely sensitive to wussy's. I should know. I had to get numb just for a teeth cleaning! I really like how clean everything is and the great location in North Modesto. Their rates are very reasonable and he's always on time! I have a disabled daughter who needs extra care and they always make sure she's very comfortable and accommodate her very nicely. They have great hours and make you feel like you're one of the family!
