After 54 years of experience, I must say that this is the best experience I have ever had in a dental office. My first appointment was for x-rays and cleaning. It had been three years of more since my last visit to a dental office. What amazed me was the new innovative technology that was being used to show me the issues I was having with some of my teeth. The time involved in explaining, showing me close up views of my teeth on a laptop and how to better care for my teeth was impressive. I viewed my x-rays and all my options and costs were discussed before I left Kenner Dental Group. My second appointment I experienced the same friendly treatment at the front desk. I picked up a magazine, sat down, opened it and my name was called. I did not feel any of my numbing shots before the procedure of after when I got home. I later found out after inquiring that a technique was used to disguise the affect of receiving upper injections. Dr Kenner discussed my whole procedure with me before starting his work. The light humorous conversations between Dr. Kenner and his assistants was very calming. I prefer the open (family like) friendly atmosphere than that of a quiet Dr Office. I also received a phone call later that day inquiring about my level of comfort or if I was in any pain. I just wanted to know why I wasn't feeling sore from my upper injections. It is nice to be informed before, during and after. I have one more follow up procedure, and thus far Kenner Dental Group has been a good decision. read more

I have found the perfect fit for me when it comes to all of my dental needs. A long time patient, going on 15+ years now starting with Dr. Kenner's father whom has since retired. Through the years I have come to love this office for it is always so cheerful and everyone greets you as if your family.They are very knowledgable, professional, caring, friendly, charitable and respectful. All qualities that allow me to trust them completely with any issue that comes along. My most recent dental need was to have implant surgery for my front teeth (4 teeth in all, 3 implants). Dr. Kenner took the time to walk me through the procedure giving me the details of what to expect during the surgery with full disclosure of some of the things that could go wrong. I should have been extremely nervous (they drill into bone) but found myself so calm because I trust Dr. Kenner and his assistant Loretta, 100%. I knew I was in great hands. The first step of the procedure (this is where the drilling happens) went smoothly leaving just a few more visits before unveiling the finished product. When that was completed I was so amazed at the end result. First I could not believe how natural they looked. No one would ever know I had dental implants. I can smile with such confidence now and I can also eat foods that were a bit challenging with a temporary denture. (I broke it twice) I will be FOREVER grateful to Dr Kenner and a FOREVER customer for the wonderful gift he has given me. read more

The Kenner Dental Group is a great dental team. They are always so helpful and far more professional than my former dentist. It's a very comfortable setting and Dr. Kenner always makes me laugh. I have been there several times since changing dentists and they have always gone out of their way to make sure my appointments are convenient for my schedule. I am a graduate student on the other side of the state and am more than happy to travel home to see the dentist because I trust the Kenner Dental Group. They rushed me in on a Monday morning when a large chunk of my molar chipped off over the weekend (something that happens occasionally to teeth that have fillings, they can have weak spots, also, filled by my previous dentist when I was a kid). I recently received a whitening kit and have had no problem using it. The directions were explained to me prior to using it and the directions inside the box restated what I had been told. I have very sensitive teeth and was given tips to avoid over bleaching and reduce any pain that might occur. Thanks for my pearly whites! I saw an online ad for this dental office, I was in the process of moving out of town and my old dental clinic wanted me to wait 2-4 months for an appt for a cleaning and check up. I chose Kenner Dental because they were fast and super efficient at getting me in quickly to see the hygienist. Dr. Kenner (Sr) was very nice and he did NOT try and up-sell me on thousands of dollars of un-necessary or non-urgent dental care. He was the first dentist ever to suggest I stop using alcohol-based mouth wash because I have dry mouth at night, he explained how dry mouth contributes to plaque/tartar build up, etc. And he answered all my questions. Both the hygienists and dental assistants were very nice and personable. The only slight draw back is: the clinic is way down in Burien so if you live in central Seattle or north Seattle it's a bit of a commute but it is easily located and just west of Burien's new "downtown" area. First off, I think its funny that mostly only the negative reviews are listed and the positive reviews are filtered...ironic...nice one Yelp! Those of you reading reviews, PLEASE take the time to read the filtered ones, because those are being left out. I think this office works too hard and cares too much about their patients and deserves more respect! The Kenner Dental Group is a wonderful and friendly office and I have only had great experiences there. I am not sure what these negative reviews are all about but they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and provide quality comprehensive dentistry. They are very thorough and make sure you understand everything they discuss. As a Practicing Periodontist with offices in both Seattle and Federal Way I feel I have unique insight into the quality of care provided by the 100+ dentists that refer to me on a yearly basis. Both Dr. Kenners (IV and V) provide excellent, comprehensive treatment in a modern and friendly environment. I have referred patients to both doctors as well as having had the pleasure of treating their patients for the last five years. His additional training in Oral Surgery sets him apart from other practitioners and his ability to provide in office IV sedation exceeds what I am able to provide on my own. Shortly after moving to Burien two years ago, I began seeing Dr. Kenner and his team. I found them to be stellar service providers. All the staff I've encountered - the receptionist, billing staff, hygienists and assistants, and Dr. Kenner - have been extraordinarily friendly and interested in building a relationship with me as a customer. They are concerned with nipping any potential issues in the bud (e.g. treating a small cavity early) so that it doesn't become major work down the road. They also make recommendations about other products to consider, but without being pushy. I have never had to wait for my appointment to begin (and if anything they've had to wait a minute for me!). This is hands down the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. I am very scared of the dentist and I had no issues with my visit at all. I was quite calm the entire time! Dr. Kenner is clearly very knowledgeable, professional and just a real nice guy. Everyone there made me feel more like an old friend rather than a patient. The office is clean and well kept. I am having quite a bit of work done before I get braces put on with Dr. Peralta; Dr. Kenner was clear and concise and what our plan of action would be. They accept insurance which is a huge help. What great customer service! I was flossing my teeth the other night and one of my crowns that I had done years ago at another office broke in half. On a recomendation from a friend, I called Dr. Kenners office the next morning and the receptionist was able to get me right in. I was so greatful because my tooth was very sensitive to air. Dr. Kenner Jr and his assistant were so gentle, making sure that I wasnt in any discomfort while getting me numb. The next thing you know he said he was all finished with the numbing. Wow, I didnt even feel it! He put my tooth back together and I was able to go right back to work. I will definately be bringing my entire family to this office! read more

I have searched long and hard for a good dentist, that I was compatible with. I have a soft mouth and high anxiety so dental care has always been hard for me. The Dr's have soft hands and are gentle when they work with me. When I went to DR Kenner's office, I was treated with respect and care. In this they grew my trust. I have had serious dental issues but through their care , my health has become better. The staff has changed somewhat through the years but remain constant with the customer support and care. I am especially thankful for the care that he had for me while I was pregnant with our twins - he was able to remove a wisdom tooth of mine with minimal pain and I felt like I was in the best hands as well as our twins! I've been going here for years and refuse to go anywhere else, even when I changed insurance and they didn't accept it. The staff is amazing!!! They are genuine, personable, down-to-earth and professional. I even sent them a thank you card after they pulled my wisdom teeth!! It was that painless, and they made it that comfortable. I found the Kenner Dental office conveniently located and easy to find. The staff and Dr. Kenner are friendly and very knowledgeable with what they do. They use the latest technology during the dental exam, even a state-of-the-art 3D digital imaging providing advanced diagnosis of dental conditions, which I was happy that there wasn't. Painless cleaning and Dr. Kenner answered a few of my dental concerns with the follow up. GET YOUR TEETH CLEANED BY THESE GUYS! OK, I'm a total wimp and hate the dentist. Nothing is worse than waiting in a waiting room for somebody to do a procedure on your mouth. With that said, this is the best experience I have ever had. My appointment time was kept, and the procedure was completely comfortable.
