They start telling you @ 7:05 the store is closing in 20 min. over and over, even though they close at 8. This past Sunday, where they close at 6, I was told @ 5:05 the store was closing in 5 min. They told my adult grandson, store closing in 10min. I asked her if the owner knew they were closing early or changed hours and she said "yes, the owner knows." Scandalous!!

The manager has stuff listed on other selling platforms(she told me herself she did). Not sure if she is the manager or what but she's the lady in the office. SHAME ON YOU!! She must look up items sold for the most on eBay and price off that!! Corning Wear casserole dishes priced from $30-$400!! Give me a break!! Antique stores are cheaper!! Someone needs to get in there and get this lady's pricing under control!!! I was able to talk her down on a price of something I wanted but still too much for a thrift store!!

My first time visiting Catholic Charities Thrift Shop near downtown Fresno today. I have not gone…read morethrifting in a long time. I have some special (to me) items that I want to donate but I wanted to see the shop first. Everything was very nice and organized and items were displayed well, and treated respectfully. I could tell the staff takes a lot of pride in their work. As one other reviewer shared, this is also a store that is serving the community. While I was there I observed the staff providing clothing and other items directly to those in need, (via a voucher -so all very well organized). I made a small purchase and the check out team carefully wrapped up my 4 glasses to ensure they made it home safely and I was very touched by their kindness. I hope others will consider shopping here and also donating their treasures to Catholic Charities. I still have quite a few things from my parents home that I have had a hard time letting go of, but after visiting, I feel the items will be appreciated and handled kindly and may help make a difference.
