None of them were Ball or Mason jars so I passed on them. The clerk started chatting me up about what a great deal the jars were. Actually they were more expensive than new ones. I mentioned that I only buy Ball and Mason jars. She said they were all Mason and Ball jars. I looked again and said no they are not. She then started to argue with me and she couldn't take NO for an answer. I was very disappointed with the interchange I couldn't wait to leave. I also found the prices to be extraordinarily high for a Thrift shop. I am a Vet and really wanted to support this shop. The experience was way to negative to return.

When I entered I was greeted by a staff member who was eating his dinner. I was the only person in there for a good 10 minutes as I was was doing a hard search for 6 purple shirts in various sizes. The staff member helped me out greatly with sizes and the colors I needed. Each shirt was between 3.99 to 5.99 for plain purple. My total for 6 shirts came to $45 dollars. I also helped a woman who came in when the staff member was ringing me up due to her wanting feedback on a shirt she tried on. I will return if I need shirts again for my project.

I have some special (to me) items that I want to donate but I wanted to see the shop first. Everything was very nice and organized and items were displayed well, and treated respectfully. I could tell the staff takes a lot of pride in their work. As one other reviewer shared, this is also a store that is serving the community. While I was there I observed the staff providing clothing and other items directly to those in need, (via a voucher -so all very well organized). I made a small purchase and the check out team carefully wrapped up my 4 glasses to ensure they made it home safely and I was very touched by their kindness. I hope others will consider shopping here and also donating their treasures to Catholic Charities. I still have quite a few things from my parents home that I have had a hard time letting go of, but after visiting, I feel the items will be appreciated and handled kindly and may help make a difference.

They had a lot of shoes and sandals. I found 2 that I loved but they were not my size and only $5! It's very clean and organized. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a small section with higher- end brand names, good amount of jewelry and some house wares. I like that they offer free refreshments. The iced tea was so good and refreshing and slightly sweetened- perfect for a hot day! After a little research I learned that this is tied to Lighthouse recovery so shopping here is for a good cause.
