None of them were Ball or Mason jars so I passed on them. The clerk started chatting me up about what a great deal the jars were. Actually they were more expensive than new ones. I mentioned that I only buy Ball and Mason jars. She said they were all Mason and Ball jars. I looked again and said no they are not. She then started to argue with me and she couldn't take NO for an answer. I was very disappointed with the interchange I couldn't wait to leave. I also found the prices to be extraordinarily high for a Thrift shop. I am a Vet and really wanted to support this shop. The experience was way to negative to return.

The store has been rearrange no shelves in the way. It looks more spacious. There is a variety of clothing here for men, woman, kids and teens, all sorts of people. I love their stamp program and currently during the month of March in 2026, they are giving away a stamp for each time you go and donate a bag of items. This really motivated me to declutter and clean out my closet. They always have color tag deals. I've recently found some purses for a really great deal including an egg poacher. The staff is really nice, maybe because i am there all the tims now. It's not the cleanest, but there are always treasures if you look hard enough.

The music was all good vibes... they had a lot of old records and cds and video cassettes... it brought back that nastañgic feeling. I regularly shop at the Tower location so I knew this was opening up but today was the first chance I had to come by. This location is much smaller but very clean and with good inventory. Things are well organized and displayed, no overcrowding or tight aisles. They display clothes by size, which I LOVE. I am not a fan or organization by color (like, why??). I found a couple of tank tops for this Fresno heat. I look forward to coming back! I hope Neighborhood Industries opens shops all over town!!

Am I an expert at thrifting? No, but i did do community service at DAV on McKinley and first for a month in 2009 when I couldn't afford to pay off a speeding ticket. I found a .25 Burberry polo shirt there. Am I an expert on food? No, but I have worked at chains where I managed & put away truck inventories, dealt with vendors, cooked, closed, opened, handled, cooked and prepped raw and packaged food, filtered oils and followed food safety protocol. I also dealt with customer complaints all the way from I'm missing an item to your employees are smoking mj in the parking lot. So when, I am reviewing a place, it's not personal, it's just my personal experience. So for this thrift store, it is a newer store. I love their 50% off on Thursdays. Their parking situation is in the back and I think that is better because it makes it safer than having an entrance face Blackstone. That was smart of them. They are pretty organized and I did some hunting, but did leave with a bag of things the first time i was there, puma sweats, adidas track pants, tommy hilfiger tee, old navy overall shorts. I got a Cuyana bag for 50% off my second time there. The 3rd time I was there, I actually got found a Longchamp bag for basically $4. It did have holes which i plan to sew. Overall, one of my favorite thrift stores in Fresno, CA now.
