The day that I went to this thrift store, they had an AMAZING selection of clothes! I went in late February. I found a cute cross necklace, the cutest colorful Columbia sportswear sweater, a striped stretchy shirt, and a cute sweater! Everything I purchased was under $8 and I was so grateful! This is a very big thrift store and it is well organized. It is, however, not necessarily cheaper than Walmart or Target. In fact, I heard a woman commenting on that very fact as she walked around on the phone. That said, if you don't have a car, or want local thrifted items, there is a big selection. Not very friendly or at least the young girl at the front counter. High prices here too. Just because it's a name brand doesn't mean it will sell for $30. Some prices on jackets were just as much as the store. I wanted to look at baseball hats but they have them behind the counter which I get. I waited in long line because there was only 1 cashier. I asked her if I can look at the hats and she asked which one. I just asked if she could bring the hook of them down because there were a bunch behind and I couldn't see. She said no, that need to know which one. I said can you bring me a few at a time then so I can see? No.. How are you supposed to sell hats if customers can't see them? Like I was really going to run away with them or something. After her rude attitude I just put down my other items and left. Please teach your employees better. read more

This store is OK I guess. Its only worth it if you have one of their pink 50% off coupons to use on the days that aren't 30-50% off. They do tend to have a lot off sports jerseys which im super into. I also found a shower massager which my wife seems to really enjoy. Found a good leather belt which my kids dont like for some reason. read more

This is my favorite thrift store in Madera but it does have its flaws. Sometimes it's super messy, kids are running around everywhere, and the workers don't seem to care for the job, but you can find some pretty cute stuff if you go in on the right day. The employees were about the only tolerable part of this place (they were sweet and friendly despite being understaffed). Clothes are everywhere, strewn about the aisles and hung over the racks. Everything looks as though it's been fished out of the local river and put onto the shelves. Old tires included. I figured I'd give it the benefit of the doubt and started looking through the racks. I saw a little boy take a shirt, blow his nose in it and throw it on the floor. Picked up a vase to look at it, and it had giant poops in it from what I am assuming are some fire swamp sized rats (ya know, the ones from The Princess Bride). Stopped by when driving north from LA. It's really big, but nothing really interesting. I'm an avid thrifter and it's very rare when I can't find SOMETHING at a thrift store. This one was an exception--lots of incomplete or damaged items. Building was very dark and workers were not friendly. Just FYI- no public restrooms. read more

Just moved to this town and I must say I think I'm a fan of this thrift store. I stopped by on a day that was 50% off the entire store. As I've learned....on Thursdays, it is always 50% off. Also if you purchase over $10, they stamp your receipt for 50% off on Sundays, BUT you must have your receipt. I commute to work and I always pass by before I get home so this could be dangerous! LOL! Anyway, I got 5 items for $12.96. Reading my receipt, it says no returns, refunds, exchanges, or credits so you better be sure you want the item before purchasing. I've never returned anything I bought from the thrift stores. It was super busy when I went and is only 1 dressing room & that's the reason why I gave 4 stars. read more

So this is hands down the best thrift store in madera. It's been rebuilt because the previous store burned down. Since the rebuild, they have kept it really clean and stocked nicely. My mom and I love to go on 50% off day and get super good deals. You know you are poor when you only want to shop at the thrift store on sale day! Hahahaha. By far my favorite thrift store! Especially since it has a little bit of everything, home decor, kitchenware, clothing, books, etc. When it comes to Madera we don't have many options thrift store wise so I do tank this one higher than others. Big store, usually 8/10 times its clean and not very busy. I love that they offer 50% off days! I would recommend stopping by here to get some cheap clothing and apartment/home furniture that you can always refurbish and make your own! read more

I've come here several times but no luck. There selection always seems bare minimum and rather junky. However there are some good finds if you look really hard. So it definitely has potential, it has a lot of space. Maybe in Madera it is the best thrift store, but as a whole, this thrift store is a 2, at best. read more

Good prices for the quality of item especially on sale items. Reasonably clean, big shopping carts are available. The red-headed cashier has ok customer skills except when she begins to ramble on with the customers which makes her loonnggg line move very slowly. read more

Two weeks ago I came to this place to look for slacks for work, and found great top brands I would not be able to afford, my closet is full of brand clothing, I went back with my sister and mom on a Thursday and found out they had a 50% off sale on the entire stock! And if you spend more than $10 dollars on one transaction your receipt will be stamped on the back to come back on a Sunday and receive 50% off as well on everything. Its a great place to find great deals for clothing that is not used at all or barely used. I will definitely go back and buy clothes now that school is coming on, I am a college student, so this is right up my alley! Just know there are not restrooms avail. and only one dressing room! : ) read more
