You said "she", I'm a patient of Chris McDaniel. But I understand that you feel things have changed. They have. And like you, I don't understand it, can't put a finger on it, can't verify a motive. You said, "seemed quite rigid and strange to not be accommodating". Okay we agree, something's awry. But, from my viewpoint, it's still a fun place with the artful displays, the inspired wall paintings, an optometrist who knows sign language, medical competency, etc. Perhaps you'll rethink leaving.

The office staff on the other hand are rude, impersonal and all around not great to deal with! Decided to find another eye doctor after calling to schedule and yet again the office staff were abrasive and just not very kind. They have always seen all three of my children at the same appointment but today informed me they can see two at a time, which is fine, that is how a lot of dentists and eye doctors are doing appointments but how she told me, the tone, the verbiage used, was just rude!

I already paid a lot for the contacts at the time, and now they're trying to collect more money months later? That's strange and unprofessional. I asked 2x for daily lenses, the same product I used before, and had used for years. I was STILL given long wear lenses, that I couldn't wear for the duration he expected me too. After waiting WEEKS for new lenses, I called, and they were finally swapped. Paid extra for upgraded lenses, they didn't even come w scratch proof, or anti glare. I also asked if they could please put me back in the original type of contacts I'd worn for 10yrs (and asked for), and they wanted me to come back a week later, and charge me again - for them not listening the 1st time. I KNOW what works, after 30yrs of contacts, another visit just wastes more of my time, and insurance resources. This place is a scam. They don't listen, and are only interested in getting you for every penny they can. They also overcharged my daughter too. They have made ZERO effort, or apology to fix this. I'm still without contacts, and have subpar glasses. I'd ABSOLUTELY go somewhere else.

Multiple times. Our insurance didn't cover it. And I did my research about it online. We're considered low risk patients and didn't need to do it. I stayed strong and didn't do it even though she kept saying I did need it. So then when it was my husband's turn, she told him that I didn't need the scan, but he definitely did. So he caved and paid for it. We got a text message requesting we leave a review. . And I didn't do it because I was not happy with the service here. But nothing really bad happened.
