B) a local restaurant with a lousy manager who let things go to the bow-wows? C) a systemic decline in a the whole chain brought on by the same brain-out-to-lunch MBAs who had the change-the-logo idea in the first place? D) a global crisis in the supply chain based on an inability to get good biscuit flour from China? I suspect we can rule out Explanation D. But then I would have ruled out Cracker Barrel trying to change their logo as well.
