What an amazing experience relative to customer service! I am not a huge Western dress kind of guy, but a friend of mine told me this was one of his favorite stores in Vail. I know why now! They have an amazing selection of curated boots, vintage Louis Vuitton repurposed bags, great 's, and William Henry Knives, pens/ money clips to just name a few. Laura and her coworkers were incredible. They spent time getting to know us, asking friendly questions, and all without feeling any pressure of making a sale. The first night we came it was just a cool opportunity to browse. They invited us back with a note to come during happy hour I came back a following visit to purchase an amazing knife, that will be incredible to pass down to my son one day. I'm not a hat person, because they typically don't look great on me. However, Laura once again found this amazing Fedora, that I will enjoy for years to come(super classic style). I specifically planned a trip to Vail to buy a custom hat from this store and it did not disappoint. Even though we had to wait to get in for about 20 minutes, I was not complaining bc immediately upon entry, I was greeted by Mariel and she helped me pick out the perfect hat from start to finish. She was very helpful with all of the custom additions and I left the store extremely happy and with a gorgeous hat on my head! read more

My wife loves her hat - make sure you set a budget though... the bill was north of $1,000.

The employees are condescending and rude. I left immediately because I refuse to wear and advertise a brand that treats their customers so disrespectfully. read more

I have been wanting a hat and Kemo Sabe had exactly what I was looking for. Cameron was awesome and was patient helping me pick out the perfect one and made sure it was the exact fit! I'll be back to purchase a second sooner than later! read more

Employees were not helpful and very selective on who they let in the store. I was waiting outside for about 30 minutes and one of the workers opened the door and told a woman and her family to go around back so she could let them in. The employees were condescending and rude and I would never shop here. I wanted a hat but I did not want to wear something that promoted this store. 10/10 awful experience. read more

Wife bought a pair of beautiful leather boots here... she fell in love with them immidiately. Highest quality. Great service, offered to ship it back for us so we didnt have to try and squeeze in our already stuffed luggage. read more

Went in to check out all the cowboy attire. Asked one of the girls why a certain turquoise stone was called a No. 6. She said it has its name base on the mine it comes from. So I asked, "Are No. 7 or 8 stones supposed to be better?". She answered in a nasty tone, "No". So I was still left confused what was going on. While waiting for an explanation, she continued to check her phone. I would say if you want to go to a place with good service do not go here. If you are a pretentious basic girl that likes to play dress up and wear cowboy hats and boots this might be a great job for you. read more

Just stopped by because I've been wanting to get a hat and a pair of boots for my granddaughter. The store wasn't too busy but apparently too busy to help us! I purposely made our group go in. There was one group that obviously was friends with an employee. She was serving them beers and making plans for later. No one greeted us, or even acknowledged. Paige was so welcoming - she assisted me super quickly and gladly got me multiple pairs of boots to try on, and she even grabbed me a few men's options so I could see different styles ! Great selection of unique items. Their knives are second to none. I like how they all dress like cowboys from Will Smiths version of Wild Wild West and all the girls look pregnant. Very authentic. read more

We had an awesome party at Kemo Sabe in Vail. It was a surprise and what a perfect spot to trick a birthday girl. Our guests loved the atmosphere and the location. It was so unique and Colorado. One of my all time favorite stores. I'm from New Orleans and I was so excited to get a hat from there. Laura, who helped assist me the entire way was AMAZING, along w the entire team. Great store! Wandered it, they reshaped my hat, and felt as at home as if I was in some out of the way place. Loved both of the ladies, they did not push, just great sales people. We walked out with a pair of cowboy boots for our 2 wk old niece, w her initials branded on the heels. read more

I went into this store a few days ago and saw a beautiful fedora hat one of the sales ladies was wearing. She said that they sold them there, but they were VERY expensive. I asked to see them and she said that they had two types, "panama" something and "rice" something. She said the "rice" something was more affordable. She went to the back and came back with a really nice hat. I tried it on and asked for the price, she said $175, so I asked what kind of hat this was, and she said it was the "rice" something...I asked if I could see the "Panama" something and once again she said that it was "VERY expensive", at this time I sensed I was having a "Pretty Woman" retail shopping experience (without the short skirt), and walked out...Disappointing! read more
