She was going to order some online, but I convinced her to wait until we got to Vail and buy them from Eye Pieces in case the goggles did not work as expected. Well, that is exactly what happened. She bought a pair at Eye Pieces. They fogged. She took them in, they had a new lens brought in from another store, and they replaced the lens. No questions asked. They fogged again. And they replaced the goggles with an entirely different style. Again, no questions asked. What a great store. I even bought myself a new pair and they worked perfectly. But if they hadn't, I am sure they would have made it right. If you are going to buy goggles, this is only place to do it.

It is very difficult to find a high end jewelry shop that sells quality estate pieces at proper prices. The sales associates are professional and very kind. They take their time with you and are attentive and informative, whether you are spending a couple hundred, a couple thousand or tens of thousands of dollars. The Associates treat you just the same. I visit this shop at least twice a year and every time I walk away with something, or many, estate pieces that are beyond beautiful. Yet, during my visit last year, I became so caught up in the moment, that as well as a few pieces for 5K, i bought a $20,000 Art Deco bangle! That evening, when I realized what I had done, how stupid I was, having multiple medical bills, two rents, many other expenses as well as my taxes to pay... I called and spoke to the Associate that sold me my pieces. In tears, I asked her if she would allow me to return the bangle, not that I wanted to; but, because I had become overly giddy and irresponsible by making that one purchase. She was very supportive and sympathised with my plight and agreed to allow me to return the bangle. The item was returned, for a full refund, the very next day! Thank Goodness! I spend at least five grand or so every time I walk into Squash Blossom and will spend $20K over the next years to come (and then some); but, in one go? on top of another 5-6K? They did not have to give me that return. It was my fault that I was in outer space. Yet, the Associate completely understood what I had done and what I needed to do, which was to be responsible and return that beautiful piece. I still hope it's there; but, I completely doubt it. It was too remarkable of a piece. Their estate pieces are out of this world, as well as their new pieces. I highly recommend this shop and once I get over my embarrassment (it's been almost almost a year), I'll be back in to buy something special and unique. Thank you Squash Blossom.

Today, I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience at American Ski Exchange. I…read morerented equipment for my three children, initially agreeing to rent Monday, skip Tuesday, and resume Wednesday, paying only for those days. An employee assured me that renting Friday and Sunday, skipping Saturday, would be fine. When I returned today to confirm extending for Friday and Sunday, the owner attended me. He refused, insisting I pay for unused days. I said I wouldn't pay for days I wouldn't use. He offered the option to pay more or return and re-rent. When I said I would simply return and re-rent, he grew dissatisfied and pressured me to pay for more days. That's when the conflict escalated. Upon returning the gear, he used offensive language in front of my children, staff, and other customers. It was unacceptable. I recommend you go elsewhere. Many places will treat you with genuine care, kindness, and professionalism. You don't need to endure public disrespect.
