Spinach dip was really good, but the steak tasted like there was no seasoning except for one bite.

Totally disappointed. We live in the neighbourhood, tried to eat in the bar...there were many empty tables but were told we could only sit on the dining side because there weren't enough servers to take care of us on the Bar side!! $103 for a half pan nacho with 'extra' cheese, spin dip, 2 x kids chicken fingers and 2 pops. Ludicrous. The food had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long as the cheese was hard as a rock and the spin dip was starting to form a solid state matter, and the fries were hard and cold. Service was pretty meh overall. Not horrible just could tell she wasn't really into making sure we were good. I never complain at the restaurant, I don't want to be that guy. But I don't want others to go to this place and get hosed like I did. Avoid this location like the plague. It is clearly on its last leg. First time at a Kelsey's which was compared to Applebees for America but to me was much better. Went for lunch on Thursday and got the half off wings. Normally they don't let you pick all flats but since I came right when they opened they were able to. You can get them battered or non battered. Wing flavors i tried includes: -Hot, which was more medium and a little sweet not hot at all. -Salt n pepper which was a rub and was actually my fav. -Apple BBQ was also pretty good like a apple butter aftertaste. The best was dipping salt pepper into a side of the apple BBQ. Their salads are actually relatively impressive. Even their side caesar salad has bacon bits. Considering i came in with 20 people without calling before hand they accommodated the group pretty well. food was good. my lemonade wasn't filled to the top tho. nice environment and clean bathroom nothing in the menu SCREAMED my name. And everything makes u feel bloated after so come prepared for that. read more

Short version: service was terrible, food was meh, seems to be a disconnect between kitchen and waitresses. Long version: We had dinner here this past Saturday before heading over to Lakeshore Cinemas for a movie. It was about eight pm and we sat on the bar side. A waitress came over right away and said her shift was ending but she would start us off with drinks and the other waitress would come over. Cool no problem. I ordered a drink but my boyfriend needed a couple minutes with the menu so asked for a minute to decide. That's when everything went downhill. No one came back for at least 20 minutes. When the other waitress did arrive, she did not say hi or introduce herself, she just asked what we wanted. My boyfriend ordered and she disappeared again. This was a common theme for the rest of the night. I should note, there was only us and three other tables in the bar. When we did order, I opted for the pepper burger that comes with cheese and onion rings on it at the suggestion of the waitress with a side Caesar salad. When the entree did come, served by a different waitress, my burger came with a side bowl filled with canned crispy onions, and no onion rings. Even she was confused what had happened to the point where she brought it back to the kitchen. Eventually our waitress came back and said she didn't realize they had no onion rings and offered fried pickles instead. Okay fine. The food itself was okay - a little expensive but nothing special for the price. When it came time for the bills, I asked for one bill and said I would take it. She gave us separate bills, and put them at the opposite end of the table, and disappeared again. She cashed us out and hardly said by. All in all, the service was absolutely terrible. Kelsey's I'm a fan again...ever since you brought back the original nachos with tortilla chips vs. those won-ton ships. Pretty much this and the salmon is all i eat here - both excellent. The other day I also tried the tomato / red pepper soup - also excellent. Old review below... Nothing to write-home about.... We go here often enough and used to frequent it more till they changed the nachos. Seriously, their previous menu had some of the best pub/bar nacho's I've ever had and so this become a Friday/Saturday night favorite. Then they went ahead and changed the nacho chips and started to use their "special" wonton chips, which basically suck! So I unfortunately, rate this place very low and probably wouldn't be back anytime soon....Other than that service is good, they have other choices on the menu as well..wait staff is friendly and good bar selection. read more

A few years ago, in fact it was more. We came to dinner and I don't know but the food and the service was bad! Shortly after that we gave it another try, but the result was the same. Last night we thought we would give it another chance, so we did. I don't know what happened, maybe manager change or what, but the food was great and the service was excellent. took 1 and a half hours to deliver littreally just chicken fingers and wings, had to wait halfhour just to be seated they waiters only came out to the patio every 15 mins. the only reason i didn't leave is becouse the waiter was hot. read more

Today I went to Kelsey's Original Roadhouse and to tell you the truth it wasn't great. The food was 1/5 and the service was 3/5. There wasn't much calamari compared to the veggies that came with them. The chicken wings were good, but the nachos were horrible with little cheese and veggies. Won't be coming back any time soon! Waited in an empty bar qith more staff than customers to order some drinks. We were not greeted at the hostess station. M colleagues and I went to Kelseys. We ordered their burgers, and it took 40 mins to serve the food. Food was not that great. Next time, we would go to a local dinner. read more

We were a party of 8 on March 5, 2019 ~ not a busy night. All were terribly disappointed! Service was EXTREMELY slow. It seemed forever for drinks or food to get to the table. 3 people ordered dusted wings. None came dusted. I ordered the chicken fried chicken which looked nothing like the picture. It was a chunk of battered chicken overfried; so, very dry. The under part of the chicken was raw & the batter was mushy. The gravy was disgusting. It looked like it had been sitting for quite some time as did the chicken. Did not take long for me to push the plate away. This was a birthday celebration ~ the cake did not arrive at the table. When we discussed over concerns with our server, she did mention this to the manager and the bill was revised. However, this made for a very bad experience. Didn't get what we asked for. The waitress was not very pleasant, was rude to my friend when he ordered. I understand people have bad days but so was I and I was being nice. The fish I had was okay, the pasta hardly had any sauce. :( I used to love this place. Not so much anymore :( read more
