Received a call from my sister in law that my brother who is a cancer survivor and current dialysis patient is Septic throughout his body and Gangrene along with other heart issues has given him only days to live. As I am throwing stuff in a bag with one hand and renting a car to drive to Idaho with the other. I am thinking I have to go online and try and book care for my fur babies asap! I can't even think at this point. I just call Mihail and leave him what I am sure is a very frantic message of needing care for my babies. I make contact with Mihail and he is so quick to assure me that he has "the crew" which he calls my 3 babies. I tell him I don't know when I will be back and he says don't worry I've got them. Just keep in touch. Yes! I have used Mihail's services once before and that was a Huge Success!! So, his few words put me at ease that I didn't have to worry. His constant communication during the time I was gone was priceless to me. I'm sure it was just his way of continuing to offer support and ease at a time that I needed it most. We recently adopted a Pitbull Husky puppy and was nervous since we didn't know her history. She also was quite strong and pretty much walked me. With just 1 lesson, Jojo taught us the right way to walk the pups and it's made a world of difference. Before we had to coordinate walks with 2 people separately but now only 1 of us can control them both. After the second session, our dogs are able to be in the same room without killing each other. He is very precious to me and unfortunately he has been fighting cancer for over a year. Alea said she had gone through cancer with one of her previous dogs, so completely understood my situation. My Rosco is on chemo and has to drink alot of water all day and urinate nearly every 2 hrs, so he is somewhat high maintenance. Alea took excellent care of him. He usually looses weigh when boarded due to separation anxiety, but I never saw that when she watched him. Alea even took the time to text pictures of him to me periodically, sometimes daily, which re-assured me that he was happy in her care. I thought that was so nice of her to make that extra effort. I'm so happy I found her and would definitely use Alea's services again!

I know kennels in general will keep your pet caged, including the bigger board & care places like pet stores and such. Sleepover Rover was quick in contacting me and providing potential doggie sitters. It was great having open options. I think it's better to leave your pets in the care of a family, to minimize the separation anxiety for you & your pets! Our host , Inna, was very gracious to receive us into her home. We wanted to visit and give our dogs a look-see at their next home for a few days. She allowed us to visit, dogs and family members, not just once but twice. We were able to spend a good half-hour with them each time. She was so nice, and her husband and kids certainly made our dogs feel at home. She also reassured me over the phone on the first and second nights of our stay apart from each other. We did bring the doggies' own food, treats, beddings and food /water bowls (to given them a sense of the familiar while away from home). We got both pets (a Rhodesian Ridgeback Boxer mix & Terrier Beagle mix) back all safe and sound, and none the worse for wear. I definitely would recommend this service to anyone looking to board their pets. At the end of their service, her boys gave us the sweetest drawing of the dogs and themselves and this note: Don't forget us! I kept it and it's still on my refrigerator!
