We are a small breeding business, and have never had anyone pet sit any of our dogs- we normally take them with us. This August we had to leave our 3 adult, and 3 three month old Yorkies at home (6 dogs total) and travel across the country. Alexis took care of all 6 of our babies like they were her own. We truly felt at peace and knew our dogs were being taken care of perfectly. Alexis called us with any questions and concerns, and communicated very well. She sent us pictures and updates multiple times a day. At the time our 3 puppies needed extra care and Alexis went above and beyond to make sure they were looked after. Alexis provides great service: First she sets up a "meet and greet" at your home to introduce you and your pets to her pet sitter and go over the details of caring for your pets. Then during the sit she facilitates a three-way text (between herself, the pet sitter, and you) and instructs the pet sitter to communicate and send pictures so you can be reassured that your pets are doing well. Highly recommend using AJ's - Alexis is very professional and I always feel that my pets are in good hands. I know that if I'm missing them she offers FaceTime appointments with my cats. Alexis is amazing with our two pups, Sammy and Lily. She walks them several days each week and also just recently watched them for almost 3 weeks while we were on vacation. I needed to go out of town on short notice and I contacted AJ's Au Pair . Alexis looked after Ace, my cat. In a good review I feel like there should be pros and cons . Unfortunately I am home now with Ace and there is not one con I can think of ! Alexis was amazing . That's it. She was communicative about coming and going. She was communicative about anything and everything. she took pics of ace with her each time( Alexis I appreciated that!). she was proactive about asking for things that I had forgotten to tell her( where poop bags were. It felt like she authentically like being with my cat. The most meaningful part of my experience with Alexis and AJ's Au Pair was I felt safe leaving Ace with her. When I spoke with Alexis I knew he would be well taken care of . He was fed, cuddled, enjoyed some play time, and was safe. What more could a cat mom want ? Absolutely nothing!! If I could give Alexis 10 stars I would. Alexis has been walking my dog Bear for about a year now. I have been extremely happy with her services. She's very loving and patient with Bear and he loves seeing her. Alexis always lets me know when she's on her way to get Bear and takes lots of pictures during their walks.
