This Vibe is out of this world on Kelsey's !!!

If you're into amazing menus, and out of this world food...accompanied by live performances to serenade you as you enjoy your meal. Well look no further than Kelsey's on Pacific Ave in Atlantic City New Jersey !!! The ambiance is so alive and bubbly, without being over the top or a distraction from your dining experience. The entire staff at Kelsey's move with awesome energy on every level. At every turn I was met with a smile, and a warm welcome. The band was taking request and kept the environment upbeat. Now let's get to the good part ? The food !!! WOW... I literally almost melted when I bit into the cornbread ( unreal how good it is ) and once I got to my salmon, over vegetable stir fry with rice... I was floored with how fresh everything was and how their season game was completely on point. ( FYI: the cabbage is so bomb ) If you're planning a trip to AC anytime soon... please put Kelsey's on your outing list and I promise you won't be disappointed !!!!

So my Bff is from Atlantic City and she brags about this Southern fried restaurant Kelsey's every time she visits Atlantic City. I had to find out and experience for myself. She's actually from the south and swears by this southern cooking. I HAD to experience it for myself. My BF made a reservation for my birthday. I had no idea it was "Fun Fridays" so when we walked in, the live Jazz band was playing soft R&B singles. We were immediately seated by the hostess, the waiter comes over smiling and immediately shows the QR code menu. He politely introduces us to the menu and gives his suggestions for the evening. I've been looking over this menu the entire week. So I'm ready, I ordered Kelsey's Signature Fish Bowl with Coconut Rum, UV Blue Vodka, Pineapple Juice, Sour Mix & Soda for my drink. I love it shared with my BF and still felt tipsy. I ordered the fried Cajun Catfish and Shrimp Combo with potato salad and yams. My fish arrived crispy and crunchy enough to hear through the fork when it broke thru the fish. You know exactly what I'm talking about, I am not a fan of soggy fried fish. The potato salad was creamy and well seasoned. The Southern, old school yams, were the highlight for me. The yams arrived warm, buttery (is that a word) and caramel rich. Take a deep breath, you know you smell that cinnamon and spices. Totally authentic Southern food experience. Happy birthday to meeeeeeeeeee! We bought a slice of moist, two layer, Red Velvet Cake. We ate it on the way home. They have brunch on the weekends. I can't wait to go back.

This waterfront restaurant is located inside the Flagship resort on the 7th floor. It has floor to ceiling windows with a beautiful view of the ocean. Arrived for a 3 PM lunch, we were seated promptly by the window and enjoy the view while we waited for our food. We were served quickly as the restaurant was empty during this time. Our food came out hot and delicious. We ordered two entrées, one fried chicken wings with mac & cheese and collard greens, and the other was fried whiting with mac & cheese and potato salad. Everything was delicious, except for the candied yams. To me, they looked canned, and also tasted canned, which was disappointing. Our server, Farida K., checked on as frequently, and promptly switched out the candied yams for another order of mac & cheese, which we truly appreciated. Please note that the website has not been updated, we asked for white meat or dark meat fried chicken, and they did not have it. They said they were only serving chicken wings or chicken tenders at this location and the larger one, they could not confirm availability at the carryout. I recommend this restaurant if you are visiting the Atlantic City area. There are three locations, this one which is waterfront, a carryout which is two blocks from here, and a larger restaurant near Bally's resort where they also offer a brunch buffet with a DJ on Saturday and Sunday. Black owned!

A party of 8 on a Saturday afternoon for their brunch with live music and we were seated right away. 46 dollars for all you can eat buffet brunch including soft drinks and water. If you opt to get drinks outside of those options it's 4 dollars extra. Free refills on soft drinks. The waiters were lively energetic and amazing. The food was delicious literally everything was hit including the chocolate cake. The waffle station was amazing. The omelettes Looked great. Fresh catfish. You can go wrong with that price. The space is huge. The energy is amazing. I requested a song to be played and the DJ did not play it but I get it. I would recommend going here especially for the brunch buffet

Greeted by staff upon entering that were friendly. Clean establishment, courteous staff and excellent customer service. Reservations are highly recommended we were seated upon arrival. Ambience is very relaxing with great music. Meal was delicious and portions are very generous. Whiting and shrimp were delicious. Potato salad was really good, and very seasoned. Cabbage was full of flavor. The cornbread is soooo good however it does not come with the meal it is a side dish (worth it)!!!!! I will visit this restaurant again.

Food, service hospitality beyond your expectations!!! The owner is beautiful and classy. The workers are beyond polite and courteous. Atmosphere in old school jazz, put a smile on your face while you enjoy the most amazing meal.. I give 100 stars

I went to Atlantic city last weekend and ate at a restaurant at this restaurant. The food was delicious just look at the presentation. It tasted as good as it looks. They had a live band which was also good. Service was excellent and our waiter was the absolute best. I can't wait to go back when I'm in town. I'm hungry just looking at these pictures. Check it out for yourself!!!!

It's Mother's Day weekend and I'm here with my daughter. This restaurant is a staple of Atlantic City. The soul food is great, the live or karaoke entertainment is fantastic and the energy here is guaranteed to be lit. No five stars tonight because the waiter with the bald head. He was doing the MOST!! Just running his mouth with every table instead of his job of promptly taking and delivering the order to the kitchen. Made me so hangry! The catfish nuggets were the star tonight. 10 - 12 thick lightly battered pieces of fried fish were outstanding. Entree portions at appetizers price. Second place is the fish and shrimp combo. The shrimp were fresh and tasty. I wished for more shrimps and less whiting fish. Yes, I will be back !

What a great meal! After trying and failing to visit Kelsey's for a while we finally got the change to visit for dinner. Sitting at the bar, our bartender/server was very attentive and helpful. We were VERY surprised at the quality of the food and how much it felt like home. The best side was a split between the greens and black eyed peas. Also, do not sleep on the clams! They were amazing! I would absolutely recommend Kelsey's and will definitely visit again when the opportunity arises!

$45 brunch on a Sunday. My friends and I went for breakfast, it's all you can eat which isn't bad; would be nice of it was including alcoholic drinks but, it does include regular juice and soft drinks. They had little designs for V-day. There's a huge bar, a stage area I guess for live music, and ample space. We were celebrating my friend bday. Our waitress Tanisha was attentive. As was the bus boys. There's a little parking lot that says, it's for staff only and a paid lot across for$5 bucks. I went over to the lunch table and had the shrimp and grits, the fried catfish, the Mac n cheese, the chicken dumpling, and the BBQ chicken. The waitress also brought over fried fish to the table. I also had an omelet made at the breakfast station. I must say the food was really good, everything I had did not disappoint. I really liked the shrimp and grits and fried catfish so I went for seconds. The lemonade was good and the ice tea tasted like real ice tea. The omelet was also good. My friend raced about the bubiscuits. The dj was on point. It was a good vibe. I would definitely reccomend it and go back.

    How much are the flights?

    $30

    Is there parking?

There is a parking lot across the street from the restaurant. It's a paid lot. But the cost is manageable.

    I changed a reservation from 4:00 to 545 ? Can I cancel the 4:00 reservation

Whatever platform you used to make the reservation; I would try to cancel there if possible. You will not have any luck contacting the restaurant by phone, they are normally short staffed and busy with customers. Good luck and enjoy!

Is there an option for bottomless mimosas?

Do they still have happy hour? I was there pre-covid for happy hour, now I don't see it on the website.

    I don't believe so

How do you complete a reservation and receive confirmation using the Yelp website?

    They have reservations thru Yelp

Does brunch price include bottomless drinks?

Water, coffee, soda, tea. Alcoholic beverages are extra.

Hello , do you guys have breakfast?

I don't think they do , I've been there a few times and never saw a breakfast menu.

So you guys currently have live music on Thursday evenings?

    What's on the brunch menu?

    Check the website

Is the Sunday Brunch Buffett operational again?

No Brunch is currently not offered due to limited staffing.

Is there still live music being played?

Ummm...they do play R&B...or at least when I was there. Hope this helps😎

    Do they offer takeout?

Yes they do just call ahead and it'll be ready.

Do they have brunch on the weekends (post covid)?

Sorry, our buffet brunch is currently not be offered in accordance with New Jersey restrictions

I am staying at Harrahs, how far is Kelseys from that hotel?

15 minutes at most via uber

Do they have live music during brunch?

Not the day I was there but they do have live music....but they were playing the most wonderful gospel music during brunch!

Is this a good place for a birthday dinner?

Yes this is a good spot for a birthday dinner, just call ahead to make a reservation so that you will have enough seating for your party, and try to schedule early, dinner time gets crowded.

Is this place good for kids?

In the daytime yes, but after 7p its more of an adult jazz lounge atmosphere and is quite loud.

How far is it from the Tropicana?

5 min drive 15 min walk

Is there a certain time that live music starts?

I would call & see if the set times vary. We went on a Friday night with 7pm reservations for dinner. The performance didn't begin til after 8pm.

Came here to get some fried seafood while on a staycation to AC…read more Barbera Seafood Market has been around for close to 100 years. We have been to it plenty of times in our over 30 years of visiting AC and we have never been disappointed. The ambiance is cosy with nautical themed items decorating the walls. They have limited seating in the small establishment, with the best option being sitting at the counter at the window to people watch while enjoying your seafood items. We are always greeted by pleasant staff. They have daily specials and feature a seafood case filled with a variety of fresh seafood items that you can literally pick and they will prepare in store or you can choose to purchase to go. Our go to is the flounder and fish platter, which comes with house made slaw and fries, and either a side of fried clams or oysters. The platter also comes with a canned soda, which you get to pick the flavor choice from the beverage case. We always enjoy our food in store and are always luck enough to grab a few seats. The flounder and shrimp platter was fresh and crispy, with a light coating that did not take away from the delicate taste of the fish and shrimp. The slaw was fresh and an ok side. The fries were crispy and nothing was greasy. The oysters were fried well and when bitten, popped with a nice, fresh taste. And don't worry my MD folks, they have Old Bay to dust your food (which I really appreciate!). We suggest coming as soon as they open or call your order in ahead of time to avoid the long line that forms. All in all, our go to seafood spot when visiting AC.

I opted to sit near the bar at a low table. In seconds my table was surrounded by the team, my server, the bartender and the owner, making me feel welcome and insuring I was comfortable. I was presented with multiple menus, all updated for the season, I selected the That Dill Though, it was there in two minutes, a tall glass with ice, vodka, dill syrup, lemon, Granny Smith apple, and prosecco, garnished with fresh dill. It was cool, refreshing and delicious. I discovered a lot of new items with creative flair and sounding amazing. I selected from the Prix Fixe menu. This is a new feature that includes an appetizer, main and dessert at a great cost saving price with various options. My appetizer was a Caesar salad, it included a generous portion of fresh crisp hearts of romaine, preserved lemon, parmesan, onion jam, croutons and just the right amount of house made creamy Caesar dressing. Together the flavors are an outstanding, the preserved lemon pieces offer a fresh pop and contrast with the onion jam. This is absolutely a must have, just writing about it is making me crave it again. My main was the Jail Island Salmon. It was beautiful and delicious. The Salmon is delectable the skin is perfectly seasoned and crispy, look at the photo how moist flaky and executed perfectly, It is perched atop wonderful butternut squash and chilled farro with apple and fresh parsley. This was without a doubt the best salmon I ever had. For dessert I enjoyed the house made cheesecake, it was so creamy, served with fresh strawberry slices blueberries and a fresh whipped cream a light dusting of powdered sugar and a mint leaf this was decadent, a very rich soufflé style, simply spectacular. My server was Manuel, very friendly professional and attentive. The entire staff checked on me, frequently including the Chef Michael who stopped at my table after every course was delivered. The restaurant is decorated nicely for the holiday with a great sound system playing excellent music. This was such a wonderful dinner that when I was leaving I opted to walk the beautiful grounds even though is was raining, just to prolong this exquisite culinary journey! This place is worthy of a visit when in Atlantic City. It's steps off the world famous Atlantic City boardwalk between Ballys and Resorts casinos on New York Avenue.

Good, good, good, good, good…read more I would give it 4.5 stars but that's not a thing so I gave it 4 stars and 5 goods. The girls picked this place, I just wanted to eat but I'm glad they did. It was a bit tricky getting into this place because maps told us to go to the backside of the restaurant and there was no entrance there but there were signs saying go here for this and go there for that but we figured it out, obviously. Soon as we walk in they seat us. There are a few others dining but it's not packed. There's a lively group sitting behind us and that's fine because it's daytime and it's meant to be lively. The setup was such that there was a constant draft. I don't really like drafts where I eat because too much can blow through and the food cools down faster but it wasn't that bad but it is why I didn't give it 5 stars. It was a little chilly that day also so that didn't help. It wasn't cool enough that we needed a jacket on but with the draft, maybe we should've put them on but who wants to eat with a jacket on? I ordered the chicken and waffle but substituted for french toast. The french toast was so good that there was no reason for syrup at all. The french toast was cooked perfectly and wasn't dry and already sweet so you didn't need syrup to make it sweet or to soften it up. It was perfect as it was and the eggs were light and fluffy. What does that even mean? Light and fluffy eggs? I heard that somewhere so I repeated it, lol but if I knew what that meant, I'm sure I would say these were that. Regardless, they were good. I love eggs! Please try this place. You will not be disappointed.

Ended with churros as a dessert that was an absolute disappointment. They were so stale, not crunchy, and just simply tasted like it was sitting around all day long.

First let me start of by saying that we have been dining at Amada since it first opened in Revel…read moreCasino (now Ocean Casino). While it has always been a bit on the expensive side, we enjoy the tapas style dining. Unfortunately, when we at there on 3/13/26 prior to seeing a show at Ocean the food was disappointing. The bacon wrapped dates which were always our favorite we not up to par. Tiny, missing the little pearl onions, overcooked, and no sauce, and the blue cheese all melted because it was put on too soon before serving. They have taken a few favorites off the menu so we had a hard time finding other things we liked. I had to ask for the tuna/cracker app that they usually serve free that arrives before the rest of the food. The Brussel sprouts were very good, the lamb meatballs were pretty much the same but the cheese/jam charcuterie was a joke. 2 tiny pieces of bread, 3 very thin slices of apple, a small dish of jam, and 2 pieces of cheese (could you spare it?) For what I would call a meal of snacks this cost over $65. Something is missing that used to be there (management?) The waitress was very nice and attentive at least
