Dr kellys did an amazing job with Bella. The cost was at the lower end of the estimate. They were kind and gentle with her and exactly what they advertised. Even did a nail trim. I highly recommend them.

Had a found german shepard girl who was traumatized by being dumped, and we ended up keeping her after months of trying to find the owner. We had a vet check and were unable to confirm if she was spayed. Hormone tests were almost if not more expensive than surgery. Found Dr. Kelly through Maddies Fund, and they got us an appt and I explained the consern. On appt day, they did everything they could to check her (traumatized shepherd) for signs of a spay. They did find a hernia, and we agreed to proceed with surgery to fix the hernia and check for spay. It was pretty quick about an hour later they confirmed spay was previously done, fixed hernia and I picked up about 2.5 hours after drop off. The staff was very professional, friendly and understanding about the behavior of our dog. The process is very streamlined. The lobby is a large room, bathroom, scale and everyone who comes in signs in and waits to be brought back. As any busy clinic, many owners do not know how to keep distance or to keep their fur babies close. Please keep your animal close, you may trust your pet, but you don't know others and the situation is stressful.

When I noticed my dog's fractured tooth, I immediately began calling around to find a good vet to take care of the extraction and also check her other teeth. Dr Kelly's not only was the most affordable one I found, but also the most communicative, detailed, and kind. The staff was friendly and upfront about cost estimates, and at no point tried to upsell on unnecessary treatments. They communicated with me every step of the process, and they even called the next morning to make sure my pup was doing ok! Amazing service all around, and I am so thankful for them!

My 9 year old cat Shiva needed some dental work and they handled it quickly and with a lot of special care. The whole package ended up being $1130 and that might sound expensive. However I was quoted twice as much as more than a few places. She needed 15 teeth out! She's also very small and needed special care around anesthesia. The pre and post care was awesome as well. Highly recommend for your dog or cat.

Our 7 year old cat had to have dental surgery, and I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Kelly's on Broadway and Camino Seco! They are on top of it! From the initial call to the pre-op appointment, they were fantastic. They got back to me immediately and kept me informed every step of the way. I dropped him off for surgery at 8am and he was back home resting comfortably by 11:00 am. The cherry on top? Our regular vet gave us an estimate of $2700-$3200 for the same procedure that I just paid $963 for. I highly recommend Dr Kelly's! A+

My girl Eve had severe dental disease. We had gotten an estimate from our vet on Drexel who quoted us $1600-2500 for cleaning and possible extraction. I was told about Dr Kelly's Surgical Unit. I called, got a very reasonable quote and scheduled with them within 3 weeks in Tucson. Eve had her cleaning as well as 5 teeth extracted for $575.00!! Meds were included with that price. We got all of our pre and post op instructions from the tech and she was totally awesome and very knowledgeable regarding what to expect. I'm very thankful we found these angels to care for our dog.

    Thx DR KELLY!!

I don't usually post reviews but I wanted to share my experience as I am SO pleased with Dr. Kelly's vet clinic... For one, I am not a resident of Tucson. I live out of state and was worried my 8lb chihuahua was going into heat for her third time... might I add - she showed symptoms of pyometra (infection of uterus) towards the end of her last heat. Fortunately, this was not the case **hallelujah sister** Flash forward 2 months and knowing I'd be spending some time in Tucson, I wanted to get her in ASAP. Being on a budget and unsure of where to go, I found my answer through a Facebook community group... Dr. Kelly is whom most recommended. I called and got an appointment made within the next week *yippee!!* My 8lb chihuahua is everything to me (actually gives me purpose in life) lol I was so nervous for her and wasn't sure how she would do as this was the first time I'd be leaving her with unfamiliar people. I'm so grateful for the front desk/staff as well. The moment we entered through the clinic doors and into the waiting room, which was kept VERY tidy (another plus) a staff member came out to greet us. I could see their love and care for animals, they answered all my questions/relieved my worries. Once I handed my chihuahua over, she seemed as if she was 'bout to go-be "chillin with a homie". Not to mention, the PRICE. I paid under $200 while it cost me almost $500 to get my other dog spayed in CA absurd if you ask me! Lastly, by the time I got home after dropping my chihuahua off (25 min drive) they called to say dog would be ready in 30 mins! WTF Haha! I was so happy she didn't have to be locked up all day and within 24 hours she was back to her normal self. CANT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH. I will be taking my chihuahua here for future dental work

Queen Burrito is a happy cat after having surgery!

I told the doc we have limited resources. Doctor Adams saw her and suggested that she may have a sensitive stomach or possible IBS, and if the food did not work, she would see if a script would work. This is a LONG review but if you are questioning whether you should go here i highly suggest you…read moreread it; I brought my 6 year old Chihuahua in on 01/05, first off they contacted us first to ask if we would like to take advantage of the free first exam coupon and got us an appointment literally for 1 hour later. The timing was impeccable. Second, once we got to VCA Valley we were greeted by very welcoming receptionists who got us checked in immediately, we were seen within 10/15 minutes of getting there by a vet tech named Alex, and brought to an exam room. he was amazing and went through all the notes the call center employee noted, we explained Daisy's full history, he checked her vitals and was so gentle with her as she was very nervous. Then we were shortly seen by Dr Zatlow (spelling may be wrong but i know they refer to her as Dr Z!) and she was very compassionate, she listened attentively, she gave us a thorough explanation and examined Daisy accordingly all with us present in the exam room. She stated all her concerns and then laid out a treatment plan for us that fit within our budget (as we were facing some financial difficulties at this time) Alex did a phenomenal job of explaining CareClub to us and the advantage of using that plan to minimise the up front cost for Daisy to have blood work done. They also refilled her prescription for her valley fever medication and seizure medication AND sent us home with a steroid for her autoimmune disorder. The next day i contacted them again to schedule her blood draw and i expressed to them i wanted to keep her appointments with Dr Z and her team and they fitted me in with a blood draw for the following day at 11AM So 01/07 we went and got her blood drawn, they again greeted us very welcoming, they got us into an exam room within 15 mins, they checked her vitals again and took her back for the draw which took no longer than 15/20 mins. We spoke with Dr Z again and she spoke to us further about what our focus is and what our next steps will be. They informed us that the blood samples would be sent out that night and we would get the results by the weekend, this visit again was very informative and we left very satisfied with the care Daisy was given. The unfortunate part of all this, was that my dogs health took a pretty rapid decline, this was no ones fault other than the relapse in her condition was working rapidly and she was showing very bad signs, we contacted VCA valley that same night (01/07 around 9pm) and we were told we would receive a call from the emergency techs who would triage her via phone to tell us if we needed to bring her in or not (and this triage call is of no cost to us, it is not considered an exam so there is no fee). This visit was the longest of all of them, Daisy was taken back immediately and in the back for about an hour before we got taken into an exam room. after Megan spoke with the Doctor the Doctor then came to us (i do not remember this Dr's name but she was also very kind, compassionate and thorough in all her explanations) she outlined the severity of Daisy's symptoms and the extent of the care that she would need and the risks involved, and after a lot of discussion with my partner we decided it was ABSOLUTELY in Daisy's best interest to let her sleep peacefully. And although this was such an unexpected decision and it absolutely broke me to do it, i NEVER felt pressured to do this, Megan the vet tech and the Doctor did not force me to do this, they gave me every option possible. They got her comfortable, They brought her to me and gave me and my partner time to say goodbye, i had decided i didnt want to be present while they put her to sleep as it was just too hard for me. Megan the tech stayed with me in the lobby while i waited for my boyfriend to come out the exam room. She was sleeping eternally at 3am on 01/08 The paperwork was easy, i signed and picked out the urn for my baby, due to our financial situation we signed a "promise to pay" for me to pay over the next week so i could get her ashes back. It was all very simple and affordable and they are working with a timeline that fits my pay schedule. I just have to end this very long winded review that the specific drs and techs that we saw were absolutely amazing, i would recommend trying to get appointments with Dr Z and her team if you can, Im happy that they even gave my baby a chance to try and treat her condition, her health just declined so rapidly and that was no ones fault. Thank you VCA for giving my girl a chance, it gave me a few extra days to love on her before letting her rest with dignity and peace.
