I want to start this review off by saying that I work in the service industry so I am never quick to judge or condemn when it comes to recieving bad service at a restaurant. Upon entering the atomosphere was great, however, when we sat down we waited five minutes to be greeted and to place our drink order. I asked for a highchair for my daughter. I watched as the waitress went over to a woman, who I thought was a patron because she was dressed in normal clothes and had a drink in her hand, and asked her to bring us the high chair. The woman brought us the high chair and went back to where she was sitting. After getting our drinks we waited quite a while for our server to come back to take our food order. We weren't the only one experiencing this service. One table got up and left, three other tables were visably agitated and on the verge of doing the same. The restaurant was busy and I overheard our server in the side station saying that they were down a server. Our server went back over to the woman I thought was a patron and told her she was weeded and couldn't keep up so the woman got up and started helping by bussing tables. I know what it is like to be weeded and waited for as long as I could. Once it hit the 40 minute mark I could no longer wait. 3 out of 4 of us dining had waters but my son had a sprite and I wanted to make sure it was paid for instead of up and leaving as the other table had. I went to my server at the side station and appologized for her situation and asked if I could pay for the drink and leave. She was very apologetic and asked me to go to the bar to cash out. I went to the bar and the lady from outside that I thought was a patron but who I believe is the owner asked if she could help me. I told her that I wanted to pay for my drink. She asked if I had a tab or wanted to open one. I explained to her that I had just waited 40 minutes to place my order and just wanted to pay for the sprite and go. I did not receive an apology nor did she offer to rectify the situation, instead she had me pay $2 for a child's sprite and sent me on my way. I do not hold the server accountable the restaurant is obviously poorly managed. I will absolutely never go back there again, qnd it's a shame because it has a great ombiance and potential. read more

Monday is your day for Kelly's. I walked into the scenic place and at every table was a steaming bucket of crabs. Only on Monday's.

Went here this evening, walked right into the outdoor seating, sat for 10 minutes with no one approaching us to give us menus or take our order. They were full, but not busy. Walked to the servers bar where 3 servers were standing and asked for menus. A very polite young lady said she'd be right over., she did follow me to our table with menus...another 10 minutes passes before different young lady server came to take our drink order. I'm not going to go into the whole timeline of our visit...basically, we had to get out of our seats to find someone anytime we wanted to order. Once we were able to place our dinner order (nothing special, one salad and one baked fish) it was a 30 minute wait. Our dinners were served, but we had no utensils or salad dressing, another 10 minute wait. Salad was fine, baked fish was fine. Coleslaw looked like it was from the bottom of the barrel. Fries were great! But you can get great fries anywhere. We had hoped to like this place as we were here , inside, during the winter. Not going back :( read more

Went to Kelly's on Sunday for the Penguin's game...instantly found a seat inside. Ordered our food. About twenty minutes later our waitress came over to us and said that it would be an hour and half until our appetizers would be ready. We decided to wait it out as we really wanted to watch the Penguins. Three hours later we finally got our appetizers that we all ended up getting sick from. We will not be returning and are very disappointed in what was once a favorite local spot! read more

We went for dinner with friends. Beautiful night great outdoor seating and that's where the good part ends. Worst service EVER!!! A waitress did take our order and after we had to track her down twice to order a drink we never did see her again. Finally after almost 2 hours and still no food (we actually went and asked the cook if he had an order for us) we tracked our waitress down for the last time paid our bar bill and left. The outdoor seating is nice. Great amount of food. The service was also great and quick. Checked on us multiple times. The outdoor seating was not open and there was no problem letting myself and a child sit down. read more

Love the backyard beach feel , sand palm trees, river view, live week-end island music takes u away on a mini vacation without leaving the Valley ! The inside is local bar, nothing special, bartenders are always quick to serve. The menu could be improved, but can't beat cheap Burgers & Margaritta's on Wednesdays ! Attracts a crowd ! Confusing as the call it Irish Pub, but a Beach exterior ?? Irish food choices would be nice, but its more of a BAR Menu. read more

The worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. I had to use my steak knife to hack my way through the tough coating. It appeared the fish had been cooked once, frozen and then dipped in coating or batter and cooked again. As I scrapped my way through the outer batter, there was another layer. All in all about 4 oz of dry fish underneath the breading. Chips were not ever salted and I doubt anything ever saw a bit of malt vinegar. read more

Absolutely awful! Probably my worst restaurant experience ever! The decor could be cute, but looks like a deserted sand pit sponsored by Walmart. The waitress was rude and forgot part of my order. I couldn't even find her to tell her. We were seated by kitchen and just heard staff swearing whole time. Couldn't find a manager at all. Rest of my last was so angry, they wanted to leave without paying. I had to make them stay. I emailed them the next day and received no response at all. Will NEVER go back! read more

the atmosphere is awesome, with the sand and palm trees it feels like a Florida beach bar/restaurant. The food was really good we had the Reuben sandwich and very large cheese burger and sweet potato fries. service was really good until we got our food. then it SUCKED!!!! the server went home and no one took care of us.3 times we had to flag down a server to get more beer and our check. will go back and hopefully we're not there at shift change read more

Went there Sunday for Father's Day, we were the only customers in the restaurant for most of the time. Tables were sticky and had crumbs on them. Ordered fish tacos, the people with me got pulled pork and a Cuban sandwich. Asked for my tacos with no cole slaw and hot sauce, the kitchen forgot and both of that was on it. I really hate mayonnaise so I asked them for another one, came out 5 minutes later. Tasted ok, hot sauce was still on it though, but I didn't complain. After I ate the first of the 4 fish tacos, and after a bite into my second I looked at the fish. It was raw in the middle! Barely cooked through! Gross. It was Ahi tuna, but it was not sashimi grade that can be served raw. I'll probably either be throwing up or stuck on the toilet for an hour pretty soon. Won't be back here. Service was good. I've worked as a waiter for 2 years and I hate to write bad reviews, but this was just not good. read more
