Where the locals come for a friendly game of pool against each other, watch some games, & have a few drinks. Came to watch the padres game and had the chips & guac. I enjoyed it! The chips were fresh & guac well seasoned. The rest of the menu offerings looked good, but I wasn't too hungry so we didn't order anything else. It wasn't too crowded, restrooms were clean. Straight out of Kitchen Nightmares. We walked in to a full bar and empty dining room. More than half the tables had glasses and empty food baskets; the floor had spilled beer on it. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for a space at the bar to open up so we could put in an order. The bartender was busy drinking with her patrons. Sorry, I didn't think to take pictures, since we just wanted to move on. Clearly a neighborhood bar, but not in a good way. No eye contact or acknowledgment from anyone made me feel unwelcome. This place is alright nothing special, just some beers on tap and possibly some cocktails they didn't have a menu but there were other drinks that were not beer. There was no waiter? we just had to order at the bar and bring it back which was fine just something to remember. It wasn't too decorative just a simple bar with lights and LED signs. The people there really enjoyed the bar you could tell that the individuals love coming to this place. It definitely keeps with local population, so I recommend you coming here with some friends after work for a excellent time with your group! I ate the 2 huge fish tacos all by myself. The white fish was lightly battered but so crispy. The cabbage/slaw was fresh and crisp. I just couldn't believe how light and fresh the fish were in this strip mall bar. The portions are huge for the burgers, salads and the fish tacos! I will ask next time though to sub out the tortillas chips that came with it. I would have preferred a salad. My daughter had the chicken caesar salad but the chicken was dry. We took the remaining salad home and I thought it still tasted great after hours being in the fridge. I would go back to Kelly's Pub in a hearbeat! My husband and I love Kelly's! We have been going here on and off for years, but have frequented it more since we now live within 5 minute walking distance. The bartenders, servers, and management are all very nice. We went in the early fall for lunch (when dining was allowed/SD was in the red tier) and had a great lunch, with strong and yummy drinks. Service was quick and friendly. My husband walks our young dog, Reese, by here a lot and server Andrea/owner DeeDee are the sweetest! They always give Reese pets and sometimes some chicken! This place isn't bad, but isn't even average tier in my book. The garlic fries I got didn't even have good garlic flavors in it. It tasted like cheap, old garlic powder scattered over fries. I've been in many other pubs with way better garlic fries for a cheaper price, considering that this place charges over $5 for the fries. My friend also wanted to order pretzels, but the store ran out. So my friend decided to order chips instead. However, without letting her know, they eventually gave her pretzels. Kind of weird to give your customer an order that didn't even go through in the first place. All in all, not a recommended place. O'Brien's is way better and it can be cheaper. read more

We were directed here by one of the bartenders at the Urge when we asked about a nearby pool place. Was not too far of a drive and we basically just walked in to play pool. Two tables right in front of the restrooms. Was nice hitting the balls around as I have not played for a while. Had a fun time and would not mind coming again. It is a dollar for a game so if you do not have change they also have a change machine. But keep in mind, there's only 2 pool tables and no jumping the balls off the table! read more

OK the only way this place must manage to survive is that the people in the surrounding neighborhoods do not own cars. Because if they did they would probably go somewhere else. I came here with a group with high hopes. We were told that the cooks here are training with a high end chef and the food quality is much improved. Well the appetizers were yummy. We had some great tasting mushrooms and the French fries were delicious. But other than that everything seemed to be a miss. My vodka soda was a little off. My hubby's margarita was pure mixer. And he had something called a California cheesesteak that he was excited to try but was ultimately disappointed. The blue cheese sliders were overcooked and one of my friends did enjoy the sandwich they ordered but I forgot what it was. It's a shame because the bar itself is pretty cool. They have a pool table and darts and a nice big outdoor patio. Even the service was weird. Not overly rude or anything but kind of intense. We definitely didn't feel welcome. And it took over an hour to get our food and the place was less than half full. Unacceptable. They have some tweaking to do. Maybe more training with that high end chef or a menu mix up or maybe some customer service classes. There is just some major things lacking. read more
