Looks like a child painted my toes. Was supposed to be matching will not be returning ! Updated the salon owner did reach out after seeing my review and offered to fix it . I tried on Friday the same day of service and that was not their attitude that day. This was not my first bad experience but I gave them a second chance. read more

Attended a manicure and pedicure with Tina at 5 PM on Fri. July 2, 2021. Tina proceeded to dig so deep into my toes that within 4 hours after the pedicure (which was painful), I had a massive infection. The next day, I had to go to the doctor and get antibiotics to clear it up. The technician Tina was completely unqualified to do this type of footcare. Over 3.5 years in Calgary and multiple mani/pedi sessions at various salons, but Kelly's was the only place where I felt that they really take their job seriously. I had my appointment with Tina and she worked on my hands and feet like an artist working meticulously with their painting. She would even clean off the excess clear base/top coat (whereas I would be peeling it off when I went to other places). The massage with the pedicure was sooooo relaxing that I kept dozing off. Hygiene is top notch with all the instruments being scrubbed, washed and kept in a sterilization compartment. I would definitely go back!!! read more

I've been coming here since they opened. Definitely a very consistent service. It is very busy so I recommend you make an appointment. All the technicians are experienced and take their time with each client. This is in a new building, with new massage chairs, bright inside with tvs and music. The health standards are good, they are always cleaning tools while working and in between clients. Out of the 25+ times I've come, only once did a girl cut my finger and Kelly immediately gave me a discount off of my service when I mentioned it. Some ppl may say it is a bit more expensive here, but the service is consistent and they ask if you want upgrades before charging you (like some places do). I've had to get a nail repaired the day after which was free of charge (I tipped the girl for her time!)..I really like this nail salon. Great place to get nails done. I called the day of and got an appointment that afternoon. I arrived early and they took me in right away. I had originally wanted to get just a classic mani pedi but when I came I decided to try the deluxe pedi, regular mani and some waxing done. The place was clean and professional and did a great job an my nails. The only hiccup was that I thought that they forgot about the waxing I had wanted done, but that was quickly remedied. I have already booked my next appointment and bringing my hubby with me. read more

Kelly and her staff are very accommodating. My office sends us for mani/pedi's on Administrative Assistants Day each year and her team is always on time, welcoming and productive. We have never had an issue with our reservation, or the service given. She even provided us with cold water bottles and fresh fruit. I have come alone as well and it is always a pleasant experience. This place is amazing! Been here twice with reference photos and left both times with nails better than the picture! I've had T.T. and Vicky do my nails, they are both fantastic! Equal parts talent and skill. Both were extremely committed to making sure each nail was even, perfectly painted and exactly to my liking. The prices here are very fair for the job they do. Kelly checks on everyone's nails to make sure her customers are satisfied. These ladies are awesome! I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be back any time I need a beautiful set of nails. read more

!!! READ !!!! I am a nail technician and I have been having clients come to me that have previously been coming to this nail salon. While performing a soak off on these clients to remove the previous nails they had on, I noticed that the products this salon where using where in fact MMA based. As a client most people don't know what this means but the main chemical in cosmetic acrylic is EMA (ethyl methacrylate) and this is what is supposed to be used for artificial nails, then there is MMA (methyl methacrylate) that is used for dentistry fillings. These two chemicals perform the same way but MMA is nearly $100.0 cheaper per gallon which is why salons will sometimes buy these illegal products to gain more of a profit. The effects of MMA can be extremely serious, including liver cancer if it gets in the bloodstream, it also can cause severe skin infections, nail damage and nails to completely stop growing altogether. MMA is meant for tooth fillings which means it is much harder than cosmetic acrylic which makes it extremely difficult to remove, and can also lead to nail injuries. I was extremely shocked to see that this salon was using these products, please save yourself and don't come here. I have provided pictures of what MMA looks like during a soak off and what damage it did to my clients nails in a short period of time. Kelly does an AMAZING job with the nails, perfect shaping, colours, materials, everything. I would recommend her work but I get anxiety bc of her schedule. I have one MAJOR problem, she switches between 3 clients at a time (esp in the evenings) and it gets very annoying bc you really want to get your stuff done and be out of there quickly. You end up staying longer because each time she steps away from you, that's 3-5 mins added to your time. I get it, everyone wants their nails done and more clients means more money. However, I'm purchasing your services, I'd like to be prioritized for the time I'm paying for so I can be out quickly. One day I spent 2.5hrs not waiting but watching her walk from myself to different clients. It was so agitating. This double/triple booking is very irritating. read more

I've been going to Kelly's for about 4 months now. I love the work the ladies put into your nails. They sculpt them beautifully and exactly how I like. The service is fantastic too, they always offer a water and are genuinely nice people. My only issue is their polish/top coat. I don't feel like the top coat they use is good enough quality because within a few days my shellac chips. I've never had shellac's chip on my acrylics before, only here. read more
