"Our trained local cleaning professionals will leave no corner of your home or apartment untouched." But the floors were not swept or mopped, the countertops were not wiped down, some of the blinds missed, there was an air vent in plain site that was missed, the closets were not touched, the pantry missed, outlet covers not wiped down, the blades on the fans were poorly done. So obviously some corners are left untouched. My fiancé was told the blades "looked a lot better and they were there scrubbing them the best they could". It took me 15 minutes, some Lysol spray and paper towels to get them done and all the dirt and grime off. So I'm not sure why their description sounds like they deep clean and will make it "look like you never lived there". When that's clearly not the case. Yes they offered to have someone else come by and "fix" the issue but here's my problem, why would I trust they would do the job correctly the second time around and that we wouldn't have to still come back and redo it when they couldn't do it right the first time and to be kind of brushed off as they did what they could for the amount we had to pay for is kind of a downer. We used them in hopes of taking the stress off of us having to do it as we have a 2 month old and my fiancé works 3rd shift. All this did was put even more stress on us having to re-clean what should have been cleaned to begin with. Oh but we got a very small discount because apparently the poor job they did was worth the amount we still paid. This place is a joke. So if you're looking for someone to come into your home and do a very half assed job for an absurd price then Merry Maids is the place for you.

Merry Maids of Sycamore has worked with me when I've had conflicts on the scheduled appointment, but the result is always the same. If you have neither the time, willingness, or ability due to health, these folks do more than what's necessary. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, I see another review in which an individual believes some details were missed, then I suggest practice the simple act of communication, politely ask them to remember to do something if it's that important to you. If you rely on them regularly like I do, you would find they always do the most important basics and then vary some other tasks with every other visit. Steve N.

Not only were they the most affordable, they also helped me figure out exactly what I wanted clean. Especially when they came over prior to cleaning to do a walk through, to make sure they took care of everything I needed. The walk through was very helpful because there were things I didn't even think of, that I realized I wanted done. They are a husband and wife duo and they both took care of everything I needed and more. The cleaning was excellent, he took his time to make sure everything was done proficiently. I put in the request and one of the services that contacted me was "We Clean" I spoke to the main boss Yahaira, set up a date to check out the daring mission set a time and date and bam! She is amazing, came on time and left the place better than we got it, no really the owner said "it looks better that when I gave it to you" awesome. I chose the move out clean, which entailed all things that needed to be done like dusting, cleaning appliances, getting rid of cob webs etc. Well, to say the least they sucked at doing what they said they would do. I took pictures of the house after they "cleaned". BIGGEST SCAM EVER. They did say they would come back, which one cleaner did. Yet the house was still not done to the level of clean they advertised. Vents, light fixtures, dishwasher, window sills, etc. were still left dirty. Peep the pictures to see just SOME of their cleaning. I borderline wanted to report it to my bank account as fraud. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. EDITED: Owner states that these are from the before. I will post the time stamps to show these photos are 1000% from after. Secondly, painters were not there until the next day, when your cleaner came back. I was not present for the final walk through, my husband was, he was unaware of the secondary clean so he would not know what he was looking at. There was thick dust on most of the registers and light fixtures even after she came back, like seriously, there was hair still left in the showers. I can see you want to justify your companies shotty work, buts let's fact check instead of gas lighting. Painters came on Tuesday the first time, my appointment was Monday. The secondary clean was at the same time my painters arrived. Your cleaners failed to clean, point blank. AND if that is how they "clean their best and adhere their 40 pt checklist" I am deeply concerned for your quality and future clients. I did reach out that I was not satisfied and this is where you sent someone to come back, again, the work was the worst I have ever seen for what I would expect. The list could go on and on.
