I prefer pandas, but this place is not that bad. Their Cajun chicken kinda taste like teriyaki Chicken but more charred. But their orange chicken is subpar compared to what you get at Pandas. It's similar but not so much.

Cajun Grill is typically a solid good court spot for cheap, filling, and tasty mall food. But this location gives pretty tiny portions, and I felt like some of the staff were pretty short with some of the customers who probably had never been to one of these before. Even when there's a long line, the staff needs to communicate with customers better!

Really good Bourbon chicken. Great value and a ton of food! I was surprised there wast more people there! A gem for a mall outlet food court.

Kelly's Cajun Grill at Opry Mills in Nashville is a great place to go for delicious and fresh Cajun food that is available when you are ready. The staff here is very friendly and makes sure that you get everything that you need. Really good experience every time I have been here

The food is beyond fantastic here. Drink refills are free too! It is my favorite place in the food court in the mall. Looking forward to coming back here again!

"Free sample, free sample, try free sample!" The battle cry at any food court. Well, I took the bait! The food is Ok. Typical "Americanized" Chinese food. The portion sizes were very generous. I had the bourbon chicken, but It was a little overly sweet. The mixed vegetables and lo mein were a little on the greasy side. In a nutshell, you get copious amounts of food for a good price. So if you're real hungry you come to the right place!

Jalapeño chicken, bourbon chicken and lo mein. (I had already taken some bites)

For mall food it was really tasty and stayed hot the whole time we were eating it! We enjoyed the jalapeño chicken, bourbon chicken, and lo mien.

Bourbon chicken, all this for $6.99!

Great place for dinner! There are so many options. They were handing out some samples which drew attention. You get so much food for so little of a price. It's inside the mall by the food court, so there's a lot of seating as well.

I was lured in my the great taste of their bourbon chicken, and as I'm eating I find a dead fly in my food. It appears as if it was cooked in with it.

Jalapeño chicken with cabbage and "jambalaya" rice. Not Cajun, but good.

I had over here and sat at the bar, and the bartender was incredibly kind and generous, letting me sample the two dishes I was deciding between. I tried Nanny's Seafood Gumbo, which had a very bold, distinct seafood-forward flavor that might be perfect for some, but for me it was a bit overpowering. The étouffée, on the other hand, was more balanced and lighter, with flavors that just hit in the best way...so it really comes down to personal preference. It was a cold December day, and I was craving something warm and spicy, and this absolutely delivered. I ordered the étouffée with shrimp (though they weren't blackened as described), and it was still deeply comforting and delicious. I paired it with a Harding House Jimmy Red Lager, and loved the thoughtful touch of little baskets of popcorn at the bar. Parking can be tricky in the area, but I easily found off-street paid parking near Turnip Truck!

This gem on McFerrin Ave brings true Cajun soul to Tennessee - born in NOLA and served with serious pride. The atmosphere is spot-on: Mardi Gras beads, Louisiana sports on the screens, a chill patio, and that welcoming bayou energy that makes you feel right at home. The food? Straight fire (in the best way): * Those boudin balls are crispy perfection on the outside, packed with flavorful house-made sausage inside - addictive and authentic! * The red beans and rice (loaded with smoky Andouille) is rich, hearty, and comforting - exactly what you'd crave on a cool day. * And don't even get me started on the shrimp po'boys - plump, perfectly fried Gulf shrimp piled high on that soft Leidenheimer bread, dressed just right with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pickles. Juicy, crunchy, seasoned to perfection. One of the best po'boys I've had anywhere outside Louisiana! What seals the deal is the people. The staff is always friendly and quick, the bartenders sling great drinks (Abita on tap is clutch), and you can tell the owner pours real heart into this place - it's personal, passionate, and makes every visit feel special. This place was a wonderful little experience. We were greeted with the sign outside, "Enter as Strangers and Leave as Friends," which is one of my life philosophies. We got there right at opening, so we got seated first along with one of their years-long regulars. A friendly local lady who provided us with pleasant conversation until the next patrons arrived, who were seated right next to us at the same table, family style. Then the next people, then the next. Sitting, talking, passing the food around the table. It was a nice experience. And the ambiance was nice, too. Plain, wooden chairs, white tile flooring, vintage holiday decor, it was like being in a grandma's house. Very comforting. The food came out one or two dishes at a time. Everything was good enough, but it also was apparent that it was mass produced in a catering style. The basics like the bacon and ham were very good, but the fried chicken, I wouldn't take a big piece, save your stomach room for other things. Whatever other things you grab, make sure you grab a biscuit and get ahold of their homemade peach preserves. That stuff was 10/10 excellent. It's so good, they jar it and sell it at the front desk. I totally recommend. Overall, breakfast is one of the most important meal of the day, so if you find yourself in Nashville, I would implore you to come and check out this city staple of over 30 years now.
