Kelly's Smash Burger Lunch Special for $10

From when you open the doors, you know you are in the right place for lunch... the placed is packed! Must be a very good sign! Quick, friendly service with a smile and good sense of humor. Ordered the Kelly's smash burger with fries lunch special for $10. It was outstanding! Had a choice of cheese, and went with classic American and grilled onions. My 4 ounce smash patty had a perfect amount of seasoning and the fries were the thin and fluffy kind, just right. The waitress suggested trying the BLT next time, but laughing said only if you love bacon! It comes with a lot apparently. In my humble opinion, I will definitely be coming back!

Kelly's Crickets Spirits Sports & Food 650 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32935 4 Stars "I love it when a plan comes together." - Col. John "Hannibal" Smith. Kelly's and Crickets merged into one location, bringing both menus into one bar menu. Is it bar food? Is it comfort food? I say it is comfort in a bar. The ambiance is a sports bar all the way. Sandy is the bartender/server today, and she is absolutely outstanding in her job performance. Sadly, she informed me they pool the tips, as her professionalism garnered her a 58% tip. I asked Sandy for one of their daily specials (Tuesdays is Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans), six wings and one of their Jr. Burgers (medium rare). Sandy placed the order as we continued our anfractuous conversation about everything under the sun. Go, Sports Ball Team! Before too long, our order was up and after snapping a few pictures for y'all, I got to work. Look at that scrumptious lookin' grub! Look at it! First up on my palate was the Tuesday Special. I love me a good meatloaf plate with all the fixins and this one had it in spades. The meatloaf was firm, savory and perfectly done. The gravy was obviously made in the back and not from a packet or can, as the flavoring was superb, complex and akin to the nectar of the Greek Gods. I almost asked for a bucket to go; it was so good. The green beans were great. This was perfection on a plate. Putting down my fork and turning my attention to the wings was difficult, but I was here for a job, not to relish every bite of a delectable meatloaf. I ordered the six wings with a medium spiciness and they were just that--spot on, to be exact. They were cooked correctly and seasoned with enough kick to say a hearty hello to my palate but not enough to make me break out in a sweat. Well done, Line Cook! Alas, I begrudgingly looked toward the last item for review today, the Jr. Burger. As you can clearly see in the picture, there is nothing "Junior" about this model of ground charred Bovine flesh. I was actually shocked at the size and had to do a double-take on the menu. After closer inspection, I discovered that their regular "Famous Kelly Burgers" are 8 oz hand-formed patties, and the Junior was a mere 6 oz. A word of advice, if I may be so bold. Do NOT use condiments on this burger. It is seasoned during formation and cooking and is delicious as is. The Big Boy says, " Play some pool, shoot the breeze with Sandy and eat lots of tasty burgers, wings, and things (I wager their homemade soup and chili is to die for)."

Kelly's Burgers and Beer is a decent size bar, but this establishment is also known for their burgers. Kelly's Burgers and Beer is located on Wickham Road in Melbourne, Florida. In terms of an intersection landmark, it is not far from the Sarno Road and Wickham Road intersection (just a few lights down). I got takeout from here, but my little bit of interaction was friendly. This particular establishment is known for their burgers (as the business name would imply), so I decided to go with one of their burgers. Actually, I went with their patty melt, which is kind of a burger in the grand scheme of things. One thing that made this patty melt is different is that they added mushrooms to the usual, burger, onions, and Swiss cheese on rye bread. I also got tater tots for my side. My tater tots could have used more salt (or maybe any salt for that matter). The patty melt was pretty good and was large (it was a half pound burger). I asked for it to be cooked medium and they did book it to the desired doneness. I have had better, but it was a good burger nonetheless. All in all, Kelly's Burgers and Beer was an overall positive experience.

Bar setting, very nice & attentive waitress. Average good american food. Entertainment such as Pool table, darts, fouls ball, & juke box.

Kellys has merged with Crickets and now open till 2 am. Adults after 8 and menu is the best of the two restaurants. Great place and locals favorite

Father & Son who really had a great time at Kelly's!

Quit precooking your chicken wings for Wing day. The quality is off substantially when you do this.

We started with one of our favorites, the rock shrimp toast along with something new, gambas al Japan (aka DELICIOUS shrimp)! My brother-in-law ordered a bluefin tasting along with the smoked hamachi, and it was nearly impossible to pick a favorite.
