We own those appliances nobody likes to work on (LG), so when I reached out to someone on Yelp (and they said they couldn't help me), they directed me toward Kelly's Appliance. I reached out and we made an appointment that was a week out. They said they were busy, but that time period worked for me. I was given a 4 hour window, which the service people arrived in. I received a text about 15 minutes prior stating they were on their way. When they arrived, they diagnosed the problem fairly quickly (a loose hose inside the washing machine). The hose was secured, the washing machine tested to ensure it was in fact the problem and was repaired correctly and everything was put back into place. Quick! Since I now know they are the only repair shop that works on LG products, I will definitely call them if we need service. Service staff was extremely knowledgeable. Customer service throughout was outstanding. I even got some tips regarding my refrigerator that has one minor issue. Thanks for the great service. read more

I could not have been more pleased with the service provided by Kelly's. i had a problem with my refrigerator freezer and a big gathering coming up. I called my home warranty company but no one could come out for 5 days. Beware if they send Blanca to do work. She replaced three switches on our Jennaire Cooktop. This is a simple job I have done myself several times. It cost $600. Parts could be ordered online for about $50. After she was done, one burner was still not working. I ordered a pair of burner receptacles from Amazon for $6. I installed one and the burner worked fine. The lesson learned: tell Kelly's to skip sending you Blanca. You can do the job yourself and save $600. read more

I was charged only for a service call regarding how to clean my washing machine - James was patient and very good at giving the instructions I'd need to get the outside of my washing machine drum clean. Now that it's done, I use a good washing machine tablet (NOT one encased in plastic) once every two weeks and, we use ONE Tbls of liquid detergent (again, Nothing encased in plastic) only as he explained that 90% of all washing machine problems result from people using too much detergent (HE machines). Laundry has still been clean and smells great. This will be my new go to appliance repair company. read more

I made an appointment to service the ice maker on my Kitchen Aide Refrigerator which they replaced 2 years ago August of 22. The unit was making Ice but was mot level so it was spilling water into the tray and freezing. They repaired the tilt but now the ice maker no longer makes Ice . called them back they refused to come back until the end of the following week. They answered the phone immediately and gave me the low down on how they use the quote fee towards repair if we go that direction. They were amendable to moving my appointment a few days prior to my original one when I had a personal issue arise. They arrived in their allotted time slot and fixed our issue that day at a fair price. As a new, first time, home owner, it's hard to know who to trust. I'd recommend this business. Our 14-month old KitchenAid refrigerator's freezer could not keep cold - ice cream was constantly melting. I had 3 visits from Sear's repair over a 2-month period that cost a total of $908 and did not fix the problem. Needless to say, I was frustrated with their inability to find a fix after multiple tries. I then contacted Kelly's Appliance and they sent Shawn out quickly. He diagnosed it as a failing evaporator fan motor and ordered a new one. A week later he replaced the motor and that fixed problem for a total of $411. Beware! I called Kelly's Appliance Center because they we're on Bosch's list of warranty service providers. As such, they are to do the work, and bill Bosch, not the appliance owner. But Kelly's does not work that way, they request payment in advance and advised me that I could would get paid back by Bosch. I called Bosch to confirm they would reimburse me. Bosch does not reimburse. Bosch even called Kelly's and confirmed they would bill the owner, I would have been responsible for the bill. I cancelled my appointment in time. Bosch is removing them from their list of warranty service providers. read more

It was very difficult in obtaining a repair shop to fix my 3 year old tabletop microwave until I selected Kelly's. What a turnaround from being "hung up on" to "Sure, no problem. Bring it in and we'll take a look at it". Within 1 hour, I was informed of the problem. Bottom line ....... It would cost me more to fix the problem compared to what I paid for the microwave, with the part being most of the cost! The $60 diagnostic charge was worth the cost to know this. RED FLAG WARNING I just got off the phone with a representative of Kelly's Appliance. I inquired about whether it would be possible to schedule an appointment for service. I was informed that a technician could come out "next week". I inquired what day and time that might be. In reply I was again told - "sometime next week" . I asked whether I could be given a day and a range in time so that I could plan accordingly. No meaningful response was given. I inquired about whether I could be provided a range in a rough estimate to replace the pump motor in a washing machine for which I could provide the model number. I was informed this company does not disclose reasonably foreseeable costs (equipment and labor + travel). Only the service call price of $145 was represented - and this would be included in the total cost once the problem (if any) was identified. The representative characterized providing any kind of estimate as a "liability" and the company never informs its customers of costs other than the service call price. The representative indicated the company is "always up front" with their customers. The representative said "the only thing I can help you with is scheduling an appointment". Without letting me reply or set an appointment, the representative abruptly hung up. I cannot trust this company, and I do not appreciate the unprofessional and rude demeanor of the representative. I hope consumers will take into consideration when a company is forthright in its disclosures, including providing reasonably foreseeable costs to obtain informed consent from its customers prior to entering into a contract. I will not be doing any business with this company at any time ever. read more

In my initial call to set up a dishwasher repair, I was clear that the issue was a malfunctioning button. A service technician visit was arranged with the understanding that the fee required ($149) for said visit would be used toward the total cost of repair. The technician visit was no more than 10 minutes. Repair was impossible because the part (a replacement button) was discontinued. Suggestion: Investigate the broken part availability BEFORE making a visit and forcing the customer to pay for said visit. If I had known the part was unavailable, I would not have bothered with a repair call and replaced the unit. In this situation, reimbursement for the technician visit fee is not an unreasonable request, yet it was denied. read more
