I made an appointment to service the ice maker on my Kitchen Aide Refrigerator which they replaced 2 years ago August of 22. The unit was making Ice but was mot level so it was spilling water into the tray and freezing. They repaired the tilt but now the ice maker no longer makes Ice . called them back they refused to come back until the end of the following week. When I said that that was unacceptable Dean hung up on me. So much for service. This is my second post they told yelp that I'm not a customer and had them remove the post. read more

After a brief conversation it was very clear to me that my 16 year old washer was not worth repairing. We own those appliances nobody likes to work on (LG), so when I reached out to someone on Yelp (and they said they couldn't help me), they directed me toward Kelly's Appliance. I reached out and we made an appointment that was a week out. They said they were busy, but that time period worked for me. I was given a 4 hour window, which the service people arrived in. I received a text about 15 minutes prior stating they were on their way. When they arrived, they diagnosed the problem fairly quickly (a loose hose inside the washing machine). The hose was secured, the washing machine tested to ensure it was in fact the problem and was repaired correctly and everything was put back into place. Quick! Since I now know they are the only repair shop that works on LG products, I will definitely call them if we need service. Service staff was extremely knowledgeable. Customer service throughout was outstanding. I even got some tips regarding my refrigerator that has one minor issue. Thanks for the great service. read more

In my initial call to set up a dishwasher repair, I was clear that the issue was a malfunctioning button. A service technician visit was arranged with the understanding that the fee required ($149) for said visit would be used toward the total cost of repair. The technician visit was no more than 10 minutes. Repair was impossible because the part (a replacement button) was discontinued. Suggestion: Investigate the broken part availability BEFORE making a visit and forcing the customer to pay for said visit. If I had known the part was unavailable, I would not have bothered with a repair call and replaced the unit. In this situation, reimbursement for the technician visit fee is not an unreasonable request, yet it was denied. read more

Our 14-month old KitchenAid refrigerator's freezer could not keep cold - ice cream was constantly melting. I had 3 visits from Sear's repair over a 2-month period that cost a total of $908 and did not fix the problem. Needless to say, I was frustrated with their inability to find a fix after multiple tries. I then contacted Kelly's Appliance and they sent Shawn out quickly. He diagnosed it as a failing evaporator fan motor and ordered a new one. A week later he replaced the motor and that fixed problem for a total of $411. Lesson learned: Trust Kelly's for accurate appliance repair on the first try. read more

Went in a rabbit hole of research to find someone to repair an old fridge in our home. Enter Kelly's. They answered the phone immediately and gave me the low down on how they use the quote fee towards repair if we go that direction. They were amendable to moving my appointment a few days prior to my original one when I had a personal issue arise. They arrived in their allotted time slot and fixed our issue that day at a fair price. As a new, first time, home owner, it's hard to know who to trust. I'd recommend this business. Kind, timely, professional, knowledgeable and they answer the phone when you call. It's the small sort of business I look to support. read more

Beware! I called Kelly's Appliance Center because they we're on Bosch's list of warranty service providers. As such, they are to do the work, and bill Bosch, not the appliance owner. But Kelly's does not work that way, they request payment in advance and advised me that I could would get paid back by Bosch. I called Bosch to confirm they would reimburse me. Bosch does not reimburse. Bosch even called Kelly's and confirmed they would bill the owner, I would have been responsible for the bill. I cancelled my appointment in time. Bosch is removing them from their list of warranty service providers. read more

RED FLAG WARNING I just got off the phone with a representative of Kelly's Appliance. I inquired about whether it would be possible to schedule an appointment for service. I was informed that a technician could come out "next week". I inquired what day and time that might be. In reply I was again told - "sometime next week" . I asked whether I could be given a day and a range in time so that I could plan accordingly. No meaningful response was given. I inquired about whether I could be provided a range in a rough estimate to replace the pump motor in a washing machine for which I could provide the model number. I was informed this company does not disclose reasonably foreseeable costs (equipment and labor + travel). Only the service call price of $145 was represented - and this would be included in the total cost once the problem (if any) was identified. The representative characterized providing any kind of estimate as a "liability" and the company never informs its customers of costs other than the service call price. The representative indicated the company is "always up front" with their customers. The representative said "the only thing I can help you with is scheduling an appointment". Without letting me reply or set an appointment, the representative abruptly hung up. I cannot trust this company, and I do not appreciate the unprofessional and rude demeanor of the representative. I hope consumers will take into consideration when a company is forthright in its disclosures, including providing reasonably foreseeable costs to obtain informed consent from its customers prior to entering into a contract. I will not be doing any business with this company at any time ever. read more

It was very difficult in obtaining a repair shop to fix my 3 year old tabletop microwave until I selected Kelly's. What a turnaround from being "hung up on" to "Sure, no problem. Bring it in and we'll take a look at it". Within 1 hour, I was informed of the problem. Bottom line ....... It would cost me more to fix the problem compared to what I paid for the microwave, with the part being most of the cost! The $60 diagnostic charge was worth the cost to know this. Kelly's operates in a very friendly, professional, and caring environment! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I can see why they are rated so highly. Our oven stopped working and after having a bad experience with another appliance repair company, I did some research and decided to call Kelly's. Dane and Shawn were great. They diagnosed the issue and promptly fixed it. They turned the oven on multiple times before leaving and it lit every time. Fast forward to five hours later... My husband went to use the oven and unfortunately it was up to it's old tricks. No heat and a continuous clicking sound. We were so frustrated. I called Kelly's the next day and to make a long story short... 1. I talked to Dane personally and we figured out what it might be. 2. Parts were ordered and I got a date on the calendar for them to come back. 3. They were super clear that what I paid for during their first visit would go towards this visit and I was only paying for the parts. 4. The day of their visit, they were AWESOME! They not only fixed the problem...they didn't need the part that was ordered, so they didn't charge me for the visit!!! Dane and Shawn were patient with all of my questions, very detail oriented, cleaned up their mess and most importantly were honest and stood by their work and didn't charge me for the second visit. Joe did a great repair job on my ten year old Whirlpool Fridge. The condensation drain tube was clogged, causing water to pool up and freeze on the bottom of the unit. He took the freezer drawer off to get to the lower back panel to defrost all the ice. He protected my hardwood floor and kept the work space clean along the way. He put it all back together with skill. Joe informed me of what he was doing and why during the critical steps (admittedly I'm geeky about mechanical stuff) and let me know that I have a three month warranty on this repair! Every so often one comes across a fabulous company, and I had that pleasure this morning. Our regular appliance repair company quit working on our brand of dishwasher, Asko (known for their quiet). They recommend Kelly's. I called, got an appointment within two days and found everyone I interacted with friendly, professional and service focused! Then, this morning, my first woman technician came. She gave me a 5 minutes heads up with a friendly call. She was confident, friendly, professional...and best of all she was a woman!! She diagnosed the problem, fixed and and then explained to me how to avoid it in the future. We have officially switched to Kelly's for all appliance repair. We had a dryer that was squeaking like crazy (whirlpool purchased 2016) and debating fix vs replace. Kelly's was the only place I found locally that applied the original service call fee to the total bill. I got a quick appointment, the service tech that came out, Bianca, was so nice and so professional and got the job done within an hour. She explained everything to me and showed me all of the parts that she was replacing and why. Replaced all the moving parts and saved me about $400 cost difference between buying a new washer and repairing this one when you consider that there's taxes, delivery fee, installation fee, and take the old dryer away fee on a new model. But from the get-go this company was so nice starting from booking the appointment with Laura and then having Bianca come out and fix it so quickly. You really can't beat this place for service and value. Highly recommend this company and love any chance to support local business. Wore mask and shoe covers Told me I didnt need to move anything from under my sink for a dishwasher installation. Proceeded to use MY towel to mop up leakage during install. Then put the dirty wet towel ON THE COUNTER. All done and dishwasher works great, but under the sink floods though. When I tell my rental agency and they reach out to Kellys appliance, the response is 'some leakage is normal, watch it for a day or two, should go away''. Well FINE but couldnt he have told me to move my stuff and watch for leakage?! Irritating. Dishwasher now working well and sink isnt leaking.... but I was not impressed. read more

First time using Kelly's appliance to repair my Electrolux washing machine. I had made the mistake of washing a rug with a backing that totally disintegrated in the wash clogging the drain.
