He took the measurements and explained the process from the point of sale to completion of installation. He walked us through the ProVia product warranty. We did our homework and got two more quotes, but Kelly was the clear winner in pricing and the fact that they are the only 'Platinum' ProVia dealer in the Triangle. Best of all? No franchise pricing games like the other two estimates. Their quote was transparent and actually more affordable than the 'big name' companies. We received multiple quotes from different companies and the quality of these were comparable to the high end windows but the price was more reasonable. The sales and installers were great! A Kelly Window crew came in and replaced ten in one day, with Gabriel and Vinnie working steadily for eight hours. Both men were polite and professional. If you're looking for a company that communicates effectively, that is not Kelly W&D. We had 12 windows replaced (whole house). Our questions were not answered except with words repeating the sales pitch. It was difficult getting a ballpark cost from them. As far as manufacturing time, all they would say was 2-3 months. I asked them to let me know when the windows were shipped from the manufacturer, they did not. Every time I contacted them I got a different person. No such thing as a single point of contact. It's been over a week since the install was completed and there has been no follow up call, text, email . The installers, on the other hand were superb. I had window glass that was broken and scheduled by Kelly Window and Door to be replaced under warranty at no charge. When the technicians, Dillion and Nate, arrived, they had the wrong size glass. They said they were sent the wrong size by the manufacturer. I asked them why they did not check the size before they arrived at my house and they said they did not know why they didn't check it. In preparing to install the glass before they realized they had the wrong size, they damaged the walls, window sill, and moulding around the window of my house. I asked for the manager to come out to review the situation and I was told he would be at my home in thirty minutes. I stayed for over an hour and he did not arrive. I called the company three times in an 90 minutes span and the phone was not answered. I was directed to voice mail and left messages. The voice mail stated I would be called back in three minutes, but no one ever called me back. read more

Bruce from Kelly Window and Door came with his warranty team or as I referred to them, "The Dream Team" and fixed so issues from the previous installation. Tony and Nick along with Bruce came on time and began work immediately. Bruce is very professional but kind and courteous. He went over the punchlist and made sure that every single thing was covered. Tony and Nick took care to meticulously repair and tweak things and cleaned up behind themselves. I can't give 5 stars because it will negate the issues caused by Bill Cramer, the sales department and but if I could grade them separately, they'd get a 5 stars without hesitancy. read more

We decided to go with Kelly Window & Door off a recommendation from our builder, Blue Ribbon Construction. Price: I've never had new windows or doors before so we decided to have at least 3 quotes. We knew Renewal by Anderson was above what we wanted to pay. So we had a custom shop in Durham quote us, Kelly Window, and Window World. Kelly Window was right on target with our budget. They were about 50-60% more for windows than Window World but you get 300% more. The windows are better, the installers are better, and they do everything they can to make you happy. Wait Time: We had about 8+ weeks to wait due to COVID. Not surprised due to factory shutdowns and glass shortages. However Kelly stayed in touch with us the entire time letting us know how things were progressing and when installation was getting close. Installation: We had incredible installers. We had over a dozen new windows that were original to the house, all replaced. 2 doors, one of which we found rot underneath and it was a giant 3 door slider. The window installer, Dan, was incredible. He spent all day on 3 of our bedroom windows because they were not level, but they are now. His miter work on the edges was perfect. Every seal, solid. I could not believe there was such a perfectionist for windows. Then our doors came in and we got Ryan. Ryan found rot in our subfloor that we had to address because it was more than they could handle. Amidst a delay, Ryan went to the store, bought plywood, build a wall for us with 2x4s and took foam insulation and sealed every single crack on a 10' opening for a giant door. It was 30 degrees outside and I couldn't tell because Ryan took care of our bad situation. Wes, the scheduler, helped call clients and moved a few things around so we could get the floor repaired and the door in as fast as possible (due to the cold weather). There's not a single misstep. I could not be happier with this company. Bill, the designer, nailed it and got us exactly what we needed. He was extremely professional. I had to replace every window in my 30 year old house. Kelly is not the cheapest nor is it the most expensive. I highly recommend them for several reasons. 1. No hard sales. They present their products and know the product well. While it took 4 months to get the windows due to covid slowdowns, it was worth the wait. We recently had Kelly Window and Door come and replace our downstairs windows. We had them do the upstairs last year. I cannot recommend this company enough. It is owned by a father and son team who know their business and are kind, courteous and extremely professional to work with. Their staff are just as good. With two experiences under our belt on each occasion everything was completed to our full satisfaction. They were prompt, great with the install and left nothing behind in terms of debris as well as taking all the old storm windows etc with them. I got home from work and you couldn't even tell they had been to the house other than the gleaming new glass! We shopped around and their pricing is competitive. Maybe a fraction more that a big box supplier but I am more than happy to pay a few dollars more for impeccable service which is always done right, delivered ahead of schedule, warranted and most importantly supporting a locally owned and operated business. Go with this company and you won't regret it. I'm a picky shopper/selective buyer and have family in the joinery business in the UK and am completely thrilled with our windows. Kelly Window & Door recently replaced 17 windows for us, and while I'll wait for 20 years before i give the actual windows the 5 star rating I hope they deserve, I am happy to give Kelly Windows the company a rave review right now. For a bit of background, before replacing these windows I had also replace some others a few years earlier at a different house in a different city, and during both processes, I was repeatedly disgusted by the sales jerks who came out and attempted, without success, to use high pressure sales techniques to get me to sign with their company. With Kelly Window & Door, I experienced none of that crap. Doug Kelly, who was my primary contact there, was always polite, prompt, patient, professional, and as far as I can tell, fair in every interaction I had with him. The install crew (which, perhaps not coincidentally, is not subcontracted) was courteous and professional too. They seemed genuinely interested in ensuring the quality of their install. A year ago, I searched for quality replacement windows for our 1900 sq foot 1996 built home that has 23 windows. After being unsatisfied with the local companies that pushed the cheaper windows, I found Kelly Window and Door on Angie's list. When I called, I spoke with Mike Kelly who initially told me they didn't have Fayetteville in their service area. I expressed my disappointment because the Angie's List reviews had been glowing about their product and their service. Upon further discussion, Mike agreed to give us an estimate based on the extent of our replacement needs (23 windows). Mike arrived as scheduled and further educated us about the windows, the benefit of the e-coating and other ways to decrease the heat transfer/loss. We also decided to replace our back door that had been replaced three other times by the big box stores yet still hung so poorly that you could see light around the side of the door. After measuring the windows and determining cost, we decided to replace half the windows and the door last year (approx $8000). This year, we replaced the remaining windows. Mike came out again and measured for the new windows. We also spoke with him about repairs needed to the window cladding due to the April hail damage. The windows were manufactured to our needs and approximately 6 weeks later a date for installation was determined. The first year, a window team and a door team were sent for the install and they were done in one day. This year a window team was sent and the windows were installed in two days. This second install included mostly second floor windows and they also had to re-clad six windows damaged by hail. We have noticed savings in our heating/AC costs as well as decreased external noise. I cannot express how pleased I am with not only the quality of the product but with the friendliness and efficiency of the employees. From first contact with Mike to followup calls by Bruce, I can not find one area where Kelly Window and Door did not exceed our expectations. The installers were friendly, professional, competent and actually took care of my home. As they removed old windows, they vacuumed up any debris. The care and respect they showed to us and our home should be emulated by others in the service industry. read more

These guys are great! I've used them for four projects so far, two steel door installations and 2 groups of casement window replacements. I'm getting ready to call them to complete the casement window replacements, which will be the 5th project. Excellent, responsive customer service and attention to detail in the installation.
