The folks that work there are some of the nicest people on the plant, 3. Just need one bolt? You can find it like in an old time hardware store. You don't have to buy a packet, just the one bolt you need. 4. Need something but you are still in your pajamas, just pick up the phone and call, they will tell you in a short time if they have what you need and the price. 5. Store is well stocked, 6. The place is super clean and well lit. 7. Items on shelves in a logical order. 8. Aisles well marked. 9. As a former merchant, I'm a huge believer in supporting local businesses first. It's not all about the price.

Within less than 30 days, one of the pieces had to be replaced and that's when I learned the disappointing truth: this isn't top-grain or genuine leather. It's "performance leather" coated in polyurethane, which means it's essentially a plastic layer over low-grade leather. The material may look beautiful on the showroom floor, but it does not hold up in real life. The so-called "leather" started showing damage almost immediately, and instead of standing behind the product, Havertys tried to blame the issue on pet damage and push me toward using my protection plan which completely misses the point. The problem isn't wear and tear; it's poor-quality materials disguised as luxury. For the price, I expected durability, integrity, and honesty from the brand. Unfortunately, all I got was frustration and disappointment. If you're considering the Hailey collection or any "performance leather" from Havertys, do your research first -- this is not real leather, and it does not perform like it.

Made a call and the man verified he had everything that guy I knew told me about and more so I headed rite down there to J&L and walked in told him who I was he showed me most everything except there was some in his storage he was extreamly helpful was understanding of the amount of time I needed to check all of this vintage equipment out told me when I could see the stuff from storage and it was there when he said it would be and I think eventually I bought every piece of vintage equipment he had well I think I mite have missed out on one piece or it may still be there waiting on me oh and he made corrections on the price of everything he could heck after that he's been a regular stop for anything I need that's bought better used and somethings I buy new it's just one of the friendliest places I've ever been. Oh and I think I forgot to mention that some of the very best tube guitar amps out there you can no longer buy them new intact some of the you haven't been able to buy new since the 50's and some since the sixty's and some since the 70's even more since the 80's and if you think that's crazy when you fall in love with guitars it gets really wild and there are some people that do the super search for guitar peddles and speaking of I do believe J&L's carries some of both just call him and ask and him and after this becomes available to read I'm gonna have to increase my no.
