He tried to tell me that I brought it in that way. Hmmm.. Nope, I would've had a trail of paint coming into the store.. I just asked for another can and they said they didn't have one. So, he put a piece of tape over it. I should've walked out. But my painter needed it asap. I went to pay and he overcharged me by $50.. Another guy credited it back, but I haven't seen it yet on my app. If you're looking for competency, this is not the place.

In placing my order for a Tricorn black paint with Bill, he was mindful enough to explain what to do. The Tricorn black would be used to repaint the front door of my home, and Bill took the time to explain that it was necessary to paint the interior door sections first due to the thickness & sheen of the paint composition. Bill didn't say much upon picking up the paint during curbside delivery, which was ok. The paint quality turned out to be better than expected after adding the 2nd and 3rd coats. Though its not cheap, the paint itself is not ridiculously expensive either. If you want quality, be expected to pay quality pricing. The same goes for vice versa- that is if you want water colors that are good for either Easter eggs, or Earl Scheib paint jobs on cars. Sherwin-Williams is certainly the former.

Reggie called the Watauga store and they indeed had what I was looking for. At the Watauga SW a young lady by the name of Josie entered the formula for the paint and informed me that an exact match may not be possible, no guarantee. I found the paint to be a 99% match once applied to my existing paint. I am extremely impressed with these two SW employees. Eddie checked his stock, which originally showed they had the belt in stock, but then came back to the phone and said that they did not have the belt, but to come up with my old one and we would find a match. Well... Apparently, Eddie continued to look while I was on my way. When he saw me walk through the door with the worn-out old belt, he met me within about 15 feet of the front door with the OEM belt I was looking for. He had never seen me before, but was looking out for me. This is the best customer service I've received from any retailer in quite some time. We have shopped here for a good while and spent a good deal of money at this nursery. They have a good variety and have had good success with our plants. We purchased 3 shrubs (plant in ground) and 3 plants (container) to go around our pool. Within 30 days, despite our effort to help them, they started to brown and drop leaves. We continued to try and help them rally but they continued to die. At about 60 days we took them back to find they only offer 7 day return policy. No store credit, no refund--nothing. This was a total of $200 gone. We have never been told of their policy for returns, it's "on the receipt". All other places we have bought from have a return of 6-12 months. We were shocked and saddened to see their response -- which we were told is because we hand water, no irrigation system and therefore had zero chance of any form of return service. We will not return and hope this helps others not make the same mistake as us.
