Instead of calling his corporate office to inquire his response was do you know how big Sherwin Williams is? Really? It was rude and it shows that there is no customer service anymore. By the way I called Brinkley when I left that store and got the code for the paint I needed. Geeez can people help you out anymore?

Never ran paint on sale when everyone else was on sale 40% or more! The only Ace in our town out priced themselves for the community!

I had occasion to go in here to look for a particular product that I remembered buying in the past…read moreand wanted to see if they had it and what the price was these days. I'm the type that likes to walk around the store and look at everything before I start asking questions so they were nice enough to ask me a couple times if I needed any help but never with any pressure so that I was able to relax and walk around. Sometimes I find things that I never would have seen if I had had a clerk lead me to directly to the item I started out looking for. Like today, I happened to see the white china pencils and remembered that I had wanted to buy one of those. They're only a dollar fifty but I just never happened on to one before and it wasn't a big enough deal to go looking for it. On the way out one of the clerks showed me a black marking pen that was better than a Sharpie for about the same price and he said it writes on anything even if it's wet or oily. That sounded great so I bought one. Maybe I'll even try it for my rock painting that I've just gotten into recently for filling in details. I don't know the price of a lot of things but on the things that I do know the price of I felt like their prices were a little higher than I might pay at other stores but that's usually to be expected from a smaller business versus the box stores. You also can't find a clerk to help you in a big box store like you can in this store. When I finally was ready to get help the young man took me straight to the section where the product would be. I wasn't quite ready to buy yet but I appreciated knowing that they had it and where to find it. I have shopped at Ace Hardware stores in other towns and found good service there too. This one ranks right up with the best of them. And they didn't make me feel like I was a waste of their time just because I was only buying a little bit. You never know when that person that only spends $3 might come back and spend $100 at another time when they need something and remember the good service.

I went into the store looking for concrete circle yard blocks to go around 3 plants I had planted…read moreat the enter of my property. When I walked into the store they were very kind and happy to see me. When I told the first employee what I was looking for she even asked if I was the one that had called about the yard blocks. The other employees that assisted me also asked if I was the one that had called. One employee showed me what they had. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for so another employee and went above and beyond to call other garden and hardware stores to see if they had what I was looking for. I decided to go ahead and purchase what they had the employee that made the calls even helped to arrange the yard blocks to see if they were big enough for my purposes. I decided they would work so they rung up my purchase (they were even cheaper then the other hardware stores nice bonus) and they even loaded my 27 yard blocks in the back of my vehicle for me. I felt they really cared about my needs and were so helpful. I will definitely be doing more business with them. GREAT JOB AND THANKS!
