They even tell you if they're a cousin or an aunt, so they must not know it's not really allowed anymore in this part of the world. The patient care suffers because of this. Nepotism became unethical many years ago, but not at this organization. Also, they don't follow HIPAA regulations at all. A number of times, when I was checking in here, the Office Worker (an Aunt I believe) was also watching her school age children after school. Her kids were looking at my health info on a computer screen right over her shoulder. I could tell they were reading everything. It didn't seem right. I received Mohs surgery at North Pacific Dermatology in Bellevue, WA to remove basal cell carcinoma a couple of years ago. The surgery was top notch, but the the care from his cousins and aunts after the surgery was very bad. I returned weekly for 5 weeks to have another membrane and bandage put on. Of the 6 bandages they put on, 3 fell off within one day. It was very scary. One fell off within the hour. Do not go to this place as you will not receive good care because they hire their own family members and are not held accountable as they would be at most medical places.

I…read morehave been seeing Dr. Garton for over 5 years and she and her team are excellent at what they do. They care about their patients and their overall health rather than just cosmetologic issues. The location is great, easy for parking and their office is spacious and welcoming. Dr. Rachel Garton and Dr. Brenda Newman are both well trained experts in their field. I have seen both of them on separate occasions. They both are attentive to your needs, listening to the problem and they take the time to really examine you and find the best solution. Even despite being doctors they will call you to clarify prescription refills or even see how you are doing. This kind of humble kindness cannot be found anywhere. It helps that their expertise has really improved my dermatologic problems over the years. I would not go anywhere else. Their staff is also so kind and helpful and even their billing staff will work with you to help figure out issues. If you are looking for a caring, knowledgeable dermatologist you should definitely call and make an appointment. They are the best!

I have had truly nothing but great experiences with her and her office and would highly recommend her as a provider! I have been dealing with idiopathic urticaria (spontaneous hives) since 2009 and have seen many doctors and specialists who have never been able to find a solution. Then, a few years ago, I started having cold-induced hives as well, making it impossible for me to go out in the winter without breaking out in hives or even handle cold glasses and objects for too long. After no luck with increased antihistamine use, Dr. Kim prescribed me Xolair, which has been used experimentally for hives. It took a few weeks of her petitioning my insurance for use, but she got approval. Her and her team handled all of the back and forth and kept me updated throughout the process, and since I got on the medication, I have had no to minimal hive breakouts since. Then again this past year, when my employer-provided insurance changed, Dr. Kim and her team have continued to battle approvals for me and help me obtain samples while we sorting things out with insurance denials. Yvonne, a medical assistant on her team, has been extremely helpful and responsive, battling this for months now and keeping me informed and medicated in the meantime. Dr. Kim is the only person who has ever been able to help me with this condition, and her and her whole team have been nothing but professional, helpful and caring throughout my time as her patient.

I was supposed to have an appointment today but realized this morning that I hadn't gotten any confirmation from them, so I called to make sure I was still on the schedule before heading over. They told me "my" doctor, a person I had not met before, had left the practice and they would not have the capacity to reschedule me. They offered to give me the number of another clinic that they're offloading patients to. They claimed I should have received a letter and a text that my appointment was cancelled. I never got a letter, and when I went back and looked, the text I received did not actually indicate to me that the person leaving the practice was my doctor. It just said that a doctor was leaving the practice and IF you happened to have an upcoming appointment with that doctor, you should call to reschedule. Needless to say, the writing has been on the wall for awhile that this is not a clinic with a future for the kind of derms patient I am (maybe, as another review surmises, they are going 100% cosmetic which means less annoyance with insurance and more money per visit), and I guess I'm glad to have had them force me out as a patient so I can find a doctor who I will actually recognize from year to year. But man, what an unprofessional way to go about it with a pretty long term patient.

She attempted to treat it the first time and gave me many disclaimers. A few weeks later, it was back exactly the same way. I went back, paid again (at a higher charge), and she treated it again. A few weeks later, it came back again! This time, I called multiple times to explain that she should see me without charging another fee. They were very hesitant but finally agreed. Then the doctor canceled my appointment. The next available appointment is more than six weeks away. I was told the doctor is busy, likely seeing new patients. I am very disappointed in the treatment, accountability, and lack of professionalism from Dr. Stano. She showed no accountability toward her existing patients, only an eagerness to keep seeing new patients and stay busy making money. I will be looking for a new dermatologist that I can stay with long-term.

In this case, the office manager's interactions with patients often come across as cold and unnecessarily snarky. I've overheard this more than once. She's clearly efficient with administrative tasks, but direct patient communication may not be her strong suit. Pictures included with this review…read more I debated for a long time about whether to write this review, but ultimately decided to share my experience in case it helps someone else researching injectors. I saw Jill at the beginning of the year after finding her through social media. One of the main reasons I chose her was because she heavily promotes herself as an injector trainer and educator online, which gave me confidence in her expertise. My main concern was the early appearance of jowls. During my consultation, she recommended three vials of Sculptra along with 2-3 syringes of filler, assuring me that after completing the treatment I likely wouldn't need to do anything else for the next several years. At 33 years old, I was initially surprised by the recommendation for three vials of Sculptra. I expressed my hesitation, but she explained that the guideline is roughly one vial per decade of age, which I later saw repeated online. Because of that, I trusted her recommendation. At first, I didn't notice many changes since Sculptra works gradually and cannot be dissolved. However, as the collagen stimulation developed over the following months, I became increasingly unhappy with the results. My naturally heart-shaped face gradually became much squarer and puffier, and my jawline looked noticeably heavier, which actually emphasized the concerns I had wanted to correct. It has been difficult coming to terms with those changes, especially knowing that Sculptra cannot simply be reversed and may take years to diminish. Following the Sculptra treatments, I also developed significant acne and severe pore congestion. When I brought it up, I was told I could go on medication to manage it which I declined. The filler was another disappointment. I was advised to place multiple syringes throughout my lower face to improve the jowls, but I believe the result was overfilled. Whenever I pushed my chin forward, there was a visible lump of filler, which I've included in one of my photos. What concerned me most was what happened at my follow-up appointment. After completing everything that had originally been recommended, I expected we were finished, as I had been told. Instead, I was encouraged to add even more Sculptra into my marionette lines. That was the moment I realized the goalposts had shifted. I had trusted the original treatment plan, believing it would achieve the desired result, and instead I was being advised to undergo even more treatment which was a major red flag for me. I also requested only a very subtle lip enhancement, but my lips ended up "subtly" uneven, because she didn't correct my asymmetry which is also visible in my photos. I never went back to address that because the trust was broken and because she used up a whole syringe and considering their practices I wouldn't want to pay more for correction. Overall, I left feeling that the amount of product recommended and ultimately injected was far more than what was necessary for me. My goal was to look refreshed and natural, but instead I felt overfilled, and I have spent months regretting that decision. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff also left a negative impression. On one visit, I was told I couldn't use the restroom inside the clinic and was directed to the public restroom in the building lobby instead. On another occasion, immediately after my procedure, a staff member stood in the doorway waiting for me to leave, which made me feel rushed and uncomfortable while I was still trying to gather my belongings. This experience cost me a significant amount of money, but more importantly, it has had a lasting impact on my confidence. Because Sculptra cannot be dissolved, I now have to wait years and hope my face gradually returns closer to its previous appearance. I hope sharing my experience helps others make an informed decision. Unfortunately, based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this clinic or the injector I saw.
